Firefox downloaded 29, I don't want it, How do I prevent update??

I have FF28, I'm very happy with it. I got the 29 in my office. I hate it!
It's really awful - it reaked mayhem on ALL my setting :(
Now my home computer informed me that it will install 29. How do I prevent it?
Also: How do I, a non-tech, revert to 28 in my office??
I need a one-click option, as I'm on a payroll..

Preferences | Advanced |Update | Never check....... should do ya
Also, be very careful from About, "Check For Updates" - bizzarrely "Check" actually means install now without any say so from me!

Hook your iPad into your computer and open iTunes. GIve it a couple of minutes to get going, then click on the name of your device, then the main summary page. In the middle you'll see a software update button/area. Click on check on updates and update and follow the prompts.
it SHOULDN"T redownload but if you've already got it should just install.
I'd suggest that you first do a complete sync before you update, that way you have a good backup to restore your device from if the upgrade doesn't go perfect.

ITunes downloads stuff I don't want!

When I purchase a season of a TV show, iTunes tries to download both the HD and SD versions of the show. How can I stop this permanently. I have auto downloading unchecked, but it keeps doing it. Also, when something is downloaded that I don't want, highlighting it and using Delete will get rid of it for the session, but it starts right up again the next time I sync.
So frustrating!!! Why can't I just tell iTunes what I want it to download without it always presuming that I want it!!

Okay. I'm not as familiar with manually manage music, since I do not use it. But, I would think that nothing there would have resulted in all of the music syncing to the device. You need to figure out what you have installed which changed that action to Yahoo from a blank tab, which is the default action in Firefox; and then get rid of that add-on. Then you can can install an add-on which allows you to select what you want in the new tab.

If you don't have an icloud account, then icloud is not the thing that's popping up a window.
If you are being asked to enter a password when accessing itunes, then the problem may be that you have purchased items (apps, songs, etc) on the device that were purchased using a different itunes account than the one you currently have defined on your device.
Purchased items are forever associated with the itunes account (the apple ID) that was used to make the purchase. If you change the ID on the device, you won't be able to update any of them. You'll have to purchase them again.

As for iMessage, you do Settings -> Messages (scroll down) -> where it says iMessage, turn the switch to off.
As for pictures, you do Settings -> iCloud -> Photo Stream -> My Photo Stream -> turn switch off.
As for apps, you do Settings -> iTunes & App Stores (scroll down alot) -> Music, Apps, Books are all swtiched off.
If you want to the delete the music, you go onto the music app and slide your finger from right to left on the song.

Specifically:
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.
