In the importing operation Firefox detects Internet Explorer and Opera as installed browsers. When i select Internet Explorer cookies, history, favourites etc. are listed in a box where you can select the items you want to import in Firefox. When i select Opera no items are listed that can be imported. Any idea how this comes?

I think that what you are searching be in Tools >> Options >> Privacy >> On Firefox will: change to "Use custom settings for history" then Button Show Cookies will be allowed and you will see the cookies in your browser in the next window
If you uncheck "Accept cookies from sites", probably the sites that need cookies will alert you that you need active the storage cookies

If the entire iTunes folder was copied from the old computer to the new computer, then it simply works.
You can also try unsubscribing from the podcast and then re-subscribing.
There is no option to transfer media from an iDevice to a computer.

Emails imported from Entourage2004 with attachments are not listed as having attachments in Mail.app

The attachment is still there. But the attachment column is blank when viewing the list of e-mails. Is there anything I can do to get Mail to display the attachment icon in the listing?
I originally imported the Entourage 2004 emails by grabbing each Entourage folder, dragging it to a folder on my old PowerBook G4, dragging that folder to my external drive, and having Mail import the mailboxes from the external drive to Mail 6.3 ( OSX 10.8.3) on my new Mac Mini. any ideas? Once the user fills in the comments, they are saved as SOFM Objectsin DECISION_NOTE (this too is multiline element). All we have to do is bind it back to the workflow container in _ATTACH_OBJECTS.

For the wait step part.... the attachment is added to the mail step via the binding from the workflow...._ATTACH_OBJECTS from Workflow to _ATTACH_OBJECTS of the email task...not sure where you want me to set a wait step. Request you to please elaborate a bit more.

I installed Firefox v7.0.1 and I wasn't able to figure out how to pin the bookmarks to the left of the screen as in earlier versions. Any idea how this can be done in v7.o.1? If it's not possible I'll have to stay with an older version or go back to I.E.

Does that make sense to you, you're going to back because you can't use a new option so the tabs are the same as before.
Right-click on a tab and choose "Pin as app-tab", and never do anything unless you know how to reverse it -- "Unpin tab" or delete the tab like any other tab.
I would suggest you bookmark the tabs you want as app tabs into a folder, so that you can periodically recreate them. Do not include your home page in your app-tabs or you will have two copies at Firefox startup.
Although I don't have a problem with them disappearing when I start Firefox, they always seemed like a potential problem over time. I use them but I often do start them over from a bookmarked folder so the are "clean" only one page per app-tab. Besides app-tabs can be accidentally closed like any other tab (use "Ctrl+Shift+T" to restore a tab, if you notice the loss immediately).

I would suggest installing "Multiple Tab Handler: it will make working with tabs, and app-tabs easier.

No phone can send photos via SMS. You would need MMS (or iMessage or a 3rd party app such as WhatsApp). SMS messages are limited to 160 characters of text only.

As Léonie wrote Aperture can add a watermark file to an image on export but I find its ability to do so limited.
Another option is the free plugin BorderFX . It has a lot of capabilities that are very useful when using Aperture. Even if you decide not to use it for this you should check it out.

Sometimes I use Firefox as my browser to access my Yahoo email. If I put a link in my emails, no one can open the link because the link appears as part of the text. They have to copy and paste the link.

I have Windows Vista.

Just above the textarea that you use to enter the message text on the "Compose New Mail page" there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic. 
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button). 
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink. 
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each (e.g. Insert hyperlink).

I too was having the same problem However, I could access both the menu bar and the dock by hovering my mouse over them so it wasn't a huge problem but I prefered having it there anyway. I was not in full screen mode and I could still go into full screen mode if I wanted to. I found the easiest solution was to just quit safai and restart it, but it might not work for you considering you couldn't access you menu bar either way.
I found this article that allows you to hide/show the menu bar and the dock through TextEdit (didn't work for me) http://www.mactricksandtips.com/2009/07/hide-the-menubar-or-dock-in-specific-app s.html It is pretty old so it might not work for lion and a bit risky if you don't know what you're doing so I wouldn't really recommend doing it this way.

Is there an option to set firefox android to never remember browsing history like you can on the desktop version?

Are there any options within the android version of Firefox to set the history to never remember like you can in the desktop version of Firefox and if not will this feature ever be available on Firefox android.

I looked for it in the about:config but could not find it, however this may be because im using the beta version. So i added a new Boolean in the about:config named "browser.privatebrowsing.autostart" and set it to true. Once I had done this I found firefox was no longer keeping a record of webpage that been visited. Thanks for your help @cor-el
