Firefox freezes content of template. IE works

Question

Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.3
We have a strange issue with an application in firefox.
This application has a simple page with some dropdown lists, inputText and commandButtons on it. it also uses a template.
When we run the application in internet explorer, everything works fine.
When we run the application in firefox (3.6), only the buttons that are defined in the template work, the components from the actual jspx page do not work. It seems that the content facet of the template is completly disabled.
Can anybody tell what this could be?

        </af:xmlContent>We are using a facet called body:
<af:facetRef facetName="body"/>When developers use the template they use the body facet to place their content in.
I don't think anything is wrong with that?
