usually happens when I'm on AOL...After I close Firefox with windows' Task manager, I can restart Firefox. I'm using Microsoft Windows XP. I get the usual, message on Firefox restart about unexpected closing of previous session... I'm running the latest version of Firefox and i use McAfee Security and Microsoft Security essentials. It is happening now even though I'm NOT running AOL

There may be a problem with one of the files that stores details of installed extensions. Try deleting these files as shown in the "Corrupt extension files" section of this link - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Unable+to+install+add-ons
Though that article is not specifically about your problem, the method shown in the corrupt extension files section may help. When you restart Firefox after deleting those files, the list of installed extensions is rebuilt and this will hopefully fix your problem.

Whenever I shut down iTunes on my computer, it keeps reopening and I have to go into Task Manager and end the process in order for it to stop doing this. I am running it on a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit machine.

Connect your device, select it in the left-hand column, then change the settings on the various tabs to sync the media content your library to the device. Anything already on it may be removed. If that would be a problem see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

Podcast freezes when i open and has to be closed with task manager.

When I click into podcasts, it freezes almost instantly and has to be closed with task manager. I believe the culprit may be a login window that pops up asking me to enter a password for a premium service i once used from a certain podcast that i no longer subscribe to. i've tried going into the system files to delete all the files related to that podast, but it's still on the page. and i can't remove it from the page because it freezes. Can anyone help?

Firefox 4.0 won't close, have to close via task manager (Vista).

I am unable to close Firefox 4.0 from "X' in upper right corner, File/Exit, or Right-Clicking on taskbar and selecting Close. Have to open task manager to stop the process. Running a Vista machine, never had this issue with any other program (or any Firefox version).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

I just got my iPad, 3 days ago, put in my Master Card No. (through the computer) and I decided to buy an app in the computer's iTunes. Unfortunately, I had purchased/bought and downloaded an iPhone app (my dumbness!) and I can't use it. When I check my account in the iPad, it says there that I have no Banking information at all.
I'm worried cause when I checked my iTunes in the computer, my banking account was gone. Also, there is no any deduction on my bank figures.
Do you have any idea regarding my case? Please help me.

That majority of iPhone-apps can be used on iPads, it's those that require full-phone capability that aren't compatible (and potentially if you don't have the relevant iOS version on your iPad) - an app's requirements (including the devices that it's compatible with) should be listed on its description page in the store. If it is compatible then you can redownload it (as long as it's still in the store) via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad.
After downloading the app on your computer's iTunes you didn't then remove your payment details, and the app was a paid-for app (it didn't have 'get' against it in the store, which would mean that it was free to download) ? Does it show on your account's purchase history as paid-for or free : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support ?
If it was a paid-for app then it can take a few days for the purchase to show on a credit card. And if iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for it then does anything show on the payment details screen that you owe money - or the next time that you try to download anything you will get a message along the lines of 'there was a problem with previous purchase' if you owe iTunes money.

Purchases and Music have all disappeared !!! Please help!

1. I had a hard drive failure. I had to reinstall the OS. I lost everything.
2. I reinstalled itunes and tried to sync it with my iphone.
3. The sync removed my purchased apps, music, and ringtones.

Unless you have a backup of your itunes media, its gone. Purchased apps you can re-download for free, the rest is history unless you have a backup.
By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with ONE computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature & cannot be overridden.
When you reinstalled your OS, your iphone saw your computer as a new computer, hence the itunes content removal from your phone. Its expected that you maintain a backup of this content, as well as all other important data on your computer.

I cloud is not a streaming service. It is simply a storage locker. So before you leave, download the music you are going to want to listen to onto your pad.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

I have a problem with my microphone. After i bougth Creative's sound card "Sound blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio" and installed it, everything was allright and my microphone was working great, but this was when I used Windows XP, when i started to use Windows 7, it suddenly was very weak and i almost didn't heard it.
Currently, I have bouth Windows XP and Windows 7 installed, so I know the microphone is working when I am switching up between the OS, because it still works good on Windows XP.
If you can help please tell me.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit, I made sure the flexijack settings in the Audio controll panel are set to microphone and not line in, in the Windows 7 audio controll I have set the microphone volum to maximum and made sure it is configured properly.
