Firefox hangs in Facebook, especially when going full screen in a game?

In the last week or so, maybe since installing the new version of Firefox, I have been having problems in Facebook, where it will just crash/hang, especially if I go full screen in a game & I have to command/option/esc to get out. I went in to delete cookies & cache & checked that my plug-ins were up to date & they were fine, except for Java, but since I have a Mac, my Java is updated through the computer. Since this has never caused a problem before, I think it's unrelated. Anyway, does anyone know why Firefox is hanging or crashing all of a sudden in Facebook, especially in games/full screen mode? Can a SWF file resize in the PDF when user zooms or goes 'full screen'?

I've got some animation in my Indesign file which I've exported as a SWF and brought back in to InDesign.
I then create the Interactive PDF. It has a white background, so I select it in Acrobat and got to PROPERTIES and give it a transparent background.
BUT, when I go full screen or above 75% - the SWF shrinks on page.
The users of this PDF will need to zoom in, or go full screen. I really need the SWF to be resizing as the user goes full screen, or views it however they choose.
Is there a way to set the SWF to resize with the PDF?

Permission request for going full screen and border alert removal.

Ok so I play some applications games on facebook and currently everytime I go to full screen via the game it requires me to "allow" the program to go full screen. Also there is always a border alert if my cursor touches it and causes an alert to pop up and tell me what url im connected too. It pops up right in the middle of my screen and has gotten so troublesome I have scoured the internet for possible solutions.
The picture above is the current alert when going to full screen and I want to get rid of this for good after allowing it about 10,000 times enough is enough. How do i shut this off?
this is what i see in the middle of my screen anytime my cursor touches the outer border of my screen which as you can imagine in a high paced gaming situation can be a killer.... I want to keep this from popping up at all I understand i can hit esc to get out of full screen. In fact i got the point the first 50,000 times i saw it.
PLEASE HELP ME !! i am desperate to remove these and have found nothing on the net after searching vigorously.

Check your keyboard settings. Therre are "gaming settings" for things repetitive keypresses, and shortcuts enabling and disabling.

Subtitle text position off when in full screen

I'm adding captioning/subtitles to my video (FLVPlaybackCaptioning) using dfxp.xml files. Everything works great when the video plays at it's initial resolution (640 x 360). The positioning of the captions is perfect. But I've included a Full Screen button and when the video goes full screen, the captions appear but their position is off. They are higher on the screen and they actually move upward 1 or 2 lines after they initially appear. I cannot seem to control this and am not sure why it only happens in full screen mode. In the component inspector I have set autoLayout to true and to false and it does not effect the captions one way or another. I cannot seem to find any support for this. Any help greatly appreciated.

I've worked around this by placing the captions in a Text area below the movie. It works fine. But when I go full screen the captions remain the same size since I have had to turn off AutoLayout to get them to display in the Text Area. Anyone know how I can resize the captions automatically when the user clicks Full Screen?

I don't know why the change, but the pointer appears in the same way as it does on the main screen, not a pointer. There does not appear to be anyway to change it. You may want to submit a comment to the Features Requests: Acrobat Feature Requests. I also submitted this as a bug.
As a clarification, your "adobe acrobat 11 reader writer" is not informative. There is Acrobat 11 and Reader 11. Writer is not a product as such. So you have referred to Acrobat in a contradictory manner. In the future, please just indicate Acrobat 11 or Adobe Acrobat 11.

ITunes high pitch noise when in full screen on 27" iMac11,1

When running iTunes 10.5.1 in full screen mode on Lion 10.7.2, I get a faint, high pitch noise coming from my speakers. If I run iTunes in a refular window, the noise does not manifest itself. I can switch back and forth between one full screen app and iTunes, and the noise goes on and off and only manifests itself in iTunes.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I think I've found a workaround. The problem doesn't only happen in iTunes, but also in the Finder's list view when in full screen.
The workaround is to use Shades, a small utility that creates a uniform black color mask over my screen. All I had to do was set the brightness of my screen to 100%, run shades and lower the "brightness" using that utility to something comfortable for my eyes.
I think the issue comes from the high frequency flicker that the LED back light uses when the screen is being dimmed. For some reason, the speakers pick up on it when in list view... Why only list view? Beats me.

When viewing full screen video in netflix watch instantly, the picture freezes while the audio continues streaming

When watching full screen video in firefox the picture freezes and the audio continues streaming. I had at first thought this was limited to netflix but now see the same problem when viewing flash video sites. Once the picture freezes the computer has to be rebooted. This only happens in firefox. Explorer streams perfectly in fullscreen. The problem began after updating to firefox 3.6 as I had no problems prior to that.

For some reason the plugin container is causing some wierd stuff. I didn't know you could have more than one instance of task manager open. while this bug occurred, I had 15 task managers open. So somehow this plugin container is doing soemthing funky with the windows system. I'm the same poster as the last 2 post

Facebook app not staying full screen after IOS 7.1 upgrade

Just started this morning... did the 7.1 upgrade last night. Not sure if I accessed FB last night after the upgrade.
What I'm seeing this morning is pretty weird... best way to describe it is: the FB app is not fully crashing... if I start it, it throws the FB screen for a milli-second, then it disappears. BUT... it still shows up as a running app, with recent posts shown in the preview window of the running apps section (FB window above FB icon). If I try to maximize it, it goes full screen for a milli-second then disappears but is still shown as a running app.
I checked the FB account info in the iPad's Settings and it was missing my FB acct info. I added the info back in but the problem continues.
I haven't checked every app on my iPad but the Chrome, Gmail, and ebay apps are all working fine. Just tried Maps, iTunes Store, and Garageband and they all start up as expected.

I've had no problems with the Facebook App. Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

I have a new Macbook Pro. When watching Youtube videos, it works perfectly until I attempt to watch the video in full screen. When in full screen, the video freezes immediately and the audio continues. When minimized it works fine as before. Help?

When in full screen, the video freezes immediately and the audio continues uninterrupted. I can press escape and go back to the previous screen and the video continues to play with no problems. First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.

Thunderbolt display changes colour temperature when in full screen mode

27" Thunderbolt Display connected to MacBook Air (2011) changes colour temperature when in full screen mode. Switching any setting in System Preferences/Displays changes it back to the correct colour. I have also seen this on a 24" LED Display (Display Port) connected to a Mac Book Pro (2011).

yours is showing all the time? mine only shows when my mouse is at the bottom of the screen.

Try using another connection such as VGA or DVI to see if the problem repeats itself.
