Simple. Help shows me:
How to change the keyboard shortcut(s):
Open up Autofill Forms's settings page and switch to the Interface tab.
On the Interface tab select the subtab for the keyboard shortcuts
but no help is given on how to find the Autofill Forms's settings page

Looks like a problem with show for that is only specified for Firefox 3.5 for that section.

You have probably simply opened a blank Layout template which has no default text area. In Layout documents you need to add textboxes to the page.
Just start over from the Tempalet Chooser and pick a Word Processing document (see the sidebar titles) or a template with actual content in it already.

Tools > Downloads or {Ctrl + J} will open the Downloads window

Just switched from safari on my imac. when using search menu safari gave me the option to "find on this page," which was an incredible help while doing research. Is there any way to have this feature using firefox?

I think Safari has the same keyboard shortcut as Firefox "command+F" on a Mac or "Ctrl+F" on Windows.
Look in the lower left corner for the Find. There are more likely to be differences in Find Next and Find Previous in the keyboard shortcuts, but continuing at the Find bar at the bottom doesn't matter what browser you use. There is an "X" there to dismiss the Find bar. In Windows the "Esc" key will dismiss the bar if you are within the find text entry area.

I need help in finding ways to improve the speed of Firefox

Hello Everyone, A week ago after using 'system restore' an error message came up saying "XPCOM failed to load". Not really knowing what to do I rebooted my computer using the "Last know configuration to have worked" or something to that effect and then I had to install the latest version of Firefox, 29.0.1 and it cleared that error message. But now my computer is beyond being slow, it's worse than that. I went on to the Firefox start page, clicked on menu, then help, and then troubleshooting information and it advised me to reset Firefox which I did, but then a window appeared saying something to the effect of "Well this is embarrassing and Firefox can't be reset" because of an existing open page and something else, and at the bottom of that window it said to either restore or close. When I first brought up the page where it says to Reset Firefox, I noticed under the Graphics heading that there were three things that were blocked, Direct2D Enabled, GPU Accelerated Windows, and WebGL Renderer. Next to each of those headings to the right it said that "blocked for your graphics driver version, try updating your graphics driver to version 182.65 or newer". Not being a computer whiz I'm not sure if any of those things could be the cause of my computer operating at a snails pace. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am trying to get rid of all my 32 bit apps because the more of them you run in 64 bit the less resources are available.
Firefox has a 64 bit browser they call the Shiretoko build. I love it, it's twice as fast as a heavily tweaked 32 bit firefox. Java has a 64 bit plugin that works with it.
The last holdout is Adobe.
Microsoft is making Vista and Win 7 64 bit as easy and smooth as the 32 bit versions as a means to get people to start using them.
Linux has a way to make flash work with 64 bit.
Remember when we all had a 16 bit operating system and how much better things got with 32 bit?
Adobe, it's time!.. don't you see that?

no the audigy 2 zs is pci based. they have another called audigy 2 zs notebook and that's the one for laptop. if you can't find it from your vendor, you can always try getting it from someone else.

Firefox Help page on "blocking cookies" is incomplete and refers to a "tool" menu that does not exist

There is no text after the colon.
Also the same page refers to selecting a "Tools" menu from the Firefox window(whatever that is?) - in order to get "Page info" so that cookies can be blocked. I can't the Tools menu - clicking on the Firefox (at top left hand of page) does not give this option.
I was looking at this page in order to find out how to permanently block specific cookie sites. I block them when they appear when I have set "accept 3rd party cookes to "keep until" - "ask me every time" - and I also have "clear history when Firefox closes" set. However the blocked addresses are deleted when I come out of Firefox - this is very irritating as there are some cookies I wish to permanently block. This means that every time I open a web site I have to click on "deny" cookie several times - even thought they are the same ones I have blocked in a differenrt session. I prefer to choose what I block as some sites really don't work without their personal cookies - usually to support subscriber log in (e.g to log in to the "New Scientist" site)so "private browsing" doesn't really help and as you have mentioned elsewhere blocking 3rd party cookies can also cause problems

As I type a web address in Firefox, Firefox Help opens before I can finish the address. How can I prevent this?

If I use bookmarks the browser works and on occasion I can type an address and have it work, but most times typing anything, even one key stroke; any keystroke, immediately opens Firefox Help.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You may also have a hardware problem with the keyboard like a sticky F1 key that still works in Firefox 3.6.
Please update Firefox to the latest version via "Help > About Firefox" or "Help > Check for Updates" 
The Firefox 3.6.2 version that you currently run is no longer supported with security updates.

Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with a bank or any other savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. This requires action before the device is lost/stolen. If the device has significant personal information, it should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

Firefox Help menu hang fixed (I think).

I recently installed Snow Leopard--not a clean install, just a regular upgrade--and discovered a vexing issue with Firefox 3.5.3--any time I clicked on the Firefox Help menu, FF would hang with a spinning pinwheel cursor.
First, I disabled all of my FF add-ons, extensions, themes, etc. No change. Next I uninstalled all of those things. No change.
Finally, I went into my Library folder and trashed all of the Firefox settings files I could find, then re-installed a fresh copy of Firefox, and now the problem seems to have disappeared.
I hope this is helpful to someone.

Your question isn't at all clear. Is this a second-hand phone which has been locked by the previous user? In that case only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.
You should not post serial numbers or any other personal data here; I've asked the Hosts to remove it.

despite the workaround, it doesn't fix the real problem. It shouldn't be a huge deal for adobe to add support for multiple svn versions. Dreamweaver is the first tool i've used that works with svn that doesn't support several types of svn meta data. If they're going to claim that Dreamweaver supports svn is should actually support svn, the current version, not a version several years old. This should have been among the first patches released, or at least after snow leopard came out (and packaged with it the current version of svn).
does anyone know if the code that handles meta data formatting is something that is human readable, or where it might be, or is it in compiled code.

Why "firefox -help" does not show "-profile" option though it is supported

I was trying to open a profile on another hard disk partiton on multiboot machine. I was trying to fild the option with firefox -help. But there was no mention of opening a profile by specifying path to profile. I had to dig out this link:
