Firefox is blocking me from up-loading a video onto Facebook. How do I stop this?

Am trying to up load a video to Facebook but they tell me that Firefox is blocking that from happening. I went to Firefox's pop up blocking page & typed in www.facebook.com as an exception but that didn't make it work. Is Firefox compatable with Facebook? Do I need to get a different server? You may have an unwanted extension that is injecting interstitial ads or inserting them into sites. Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

How are you creating the file, exactly?

In the project, double-click on the clip to open the Clip Inspector. In the Clip tab you will see an item about two thirds down labelled "Stabilization". If checked, uncheck the box "Smooth clip motion".
Stabilizing clips causes a zoomed in effect, with the extent of the zoom dependent upon how shaky the footage is. There is a slider beneath the check-box labelled "Maximum Zoom" - this can be draggged back and forth to adjust the zoom effect if desired, once the clip has been stabilized.
You may have chosen to analyze clips for stabilization when importing to iMovie (that's a choice provided by iMovie upon import). If so, it's best to turn off an option in iMovie's preferences. Go to this from the iMovie menu item iMovie>Preferences. Click on the Browser tab and deselect (uncheck) the box labelled "Automatically stabilize clips that have been analyzed".
I prefer to import clips without analyzing, as this speeds up the import process. Afterwards, in the Event you can check for any overly shaky clips, then analyze them in the Inspector. If necessary, once dropped into a Project, you can stabilize them as desired. You can also stabilize clips directly in the Project without having to first analyze them in the Event.

How come every time I open the 4.0 Firefox browser it always does a add on capatibilty check? How do I stop this?

Since upgrading to 4.0 every time I open my browser it keeps doing an add on compatibility check. How do I stop this? Every time it does a check it gets rid of my bookmarks and I have to reload them again, and it also takes me to the Firefox welcome page. How do I stop this as it's a pain in the neck. I hate 4.0 I'm going back to my last Firefox browser as I had very little trouble with it.

Make sure that you do not use the same profile with different Firefox versions.

My system needs internet explorer for a application I need to down load, however I need to down load the latest yahoo tool bar for internet explorer to work properly and firefox will not allow the down load of yahoo toolbar. How do I fix this?

I have not used Internet explorer since downloading firefox and I need IE for a trading platform that I need to use. In order to get IE working I apparently need to down load the latest version of Yahoo toolbar, however when I try to down load the tool bar Firefox will not allow the down load of that file.

Why didn't you remove all three prefs.js files?
You may have left one file prefs.js that is causing the problems.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

tthrough the message envelope function and googled it to find it was a spam call about debts - j often get calls about this which ring - so I then blocked this number but now it goes straight to voicemail everytime and i get notified that I have a voicemail - I still have to listen as it could be a real voicemail and so still have to listen to the call ! Firefox won't let pages redirect when they need to. How can I stop this?

When on websites I've always used I have to "allow" to move from one area to another. I've not had to do that before. Across the top it says "Firefox prevented this page from redirecting" or "page from reloading" and then when I hit allow it still doesn't work a lot of the time. I removed some add-ons because I thought they might be causing it but that didn't help. Haven't been able to find anything under "options" on my other add-ons that looks like it would stop what it's doing. Please help!

This sounds more like a security issue than it does an add-on issue. Reset FF settings to default and if the problem still persists I'd re-Install FF. Playing with the default security settings is not advisable unless you are a power user as messing with these will put your browsing activities and ultimately your PC at risk. Let us know if the above mentioned steps dont solve your issue and we will look further into your problem ASAP.

Microsoft did as they always do - copy others and in this case they copied Google by allowing a Hotmail account to be accessed as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app.
If you are accessing the account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app, delete the account and recreate the account as a POP account.
A downside with a POP account is only one email client at a time can communicate with the incoming mail server to check the server for new messages and to download any new messages. When one email client is doing this when another attempts to do the same, the incoming mail server will temporarily block the 2nd email client from accessing the server.
