Firefox is caching like crazy. Over 1.712 items for just one day of webbrowsing. It didn't used to do that.

Just for a regular webbrowsing session, I noticed Firefox is caching more and more. While there is no significant change is my webbrowsing pattern - like visiting other websites.
It gives me the feel the response of Firefox is lacking because of this.

No, she only uses mail.
I did a test myself. I reset my data counters and went on 3G and tested how mch data would be used if she accidentally opened google maps, weather, stocks, loaded a page in safari and then browsed the App store, then downloaded some emails with photos.
In total I used about 2 MB of data not 69 MB.
Of course she never used any of these apps, it was just a test to see how much data I would use.
So although apps use a fair amount of data. I've seen that you will never accidentally use 69 MB in one day and not even know it.
The only way I could think of using 69 MB would be to specifically browse to a website with a large file (video for example, or maybe a large tiff) and specifically download it.
It would seem then that if one wanted to, one could limit their data usage while roaming by not intentionally downloading any large files.
This appears not to be the case though because of this "mystery" data charge.
Rogers has a plan where they charge you $1 per MB instead of $10 per MB while roaming (it costs $10 per month plus the data charges). That seems pretty reasonable to me, as long as she didn't end up using 69 MB per day - then the charge would be $69 per day which isn't very cheap. Thats why I am afraid to use data roaming still, at least until I can explain the mystery charge.
Her email is set up as POP (her server only supports POP). Does anybody know if POP uses a lot more data than IMAP (I use IMAP and my data usage has never been 69 MB in one day).
Does POP by any chance download every attachment when checking mail, or does it only download attachments when clicking on messages.
The weird part is her entire inbox is probably less than 69 MB so even that would not explain the high usage.

How does one install Firefox on Windows 7 for just one user, so separate users can have completely independent Firefox installations?

I'd like to create a new user, and install firefox for that user completely separate in all respects from the existing user's installation, so that there is no interaction at all between the two installations, with separate copies of the program files as well as separate Firefox profiles.

I was asking about how to have multiple Windows user accounts, and how to install Firefox independently for different Windows user accounts.
Firefox does not ask if you want to install it for everyone or just the current user, unlike many programs.
I tried switching to the newly created Windows user account, which was able to use the Firefox installed by the other user account, and installing Firefox, and although there's no indication that it's installing a user specific copy of Firefox, it is. Now the original user account sees it's installation of Firefox and the second user account sees it's installation of Firefox and no longer runs the first users installation of Firefox.
Creating separate Firefox profiles is what I was trying to say I didn't want to do. That's why I mentioned wanting completely separate copies of the program files, not one copy of the program files running two instances simultaneously.

Why is my battery life so short? Like one day, even when I'm not using it.

I've had this I phone only a little over a month and hardly used it at all. The battery is lasting a shorter and shorter time. Now it's down to about a day and a half, even when only on standby.

You say you've had the phone a little over a month, but your profile says it's an iPhone 3G. Did you mean 3Gs? The iPhone 3G came out in 2008 and hasn't been sold in over a year. If you got it used, it's entirely possible the battery is losing its ability to hold a charge. They can only take so many charge cycles.

can you stop the download completely? try to stop the download, delete the downloaded file and then re-downloading it. itunes should save your purchase so you won't have to pay every time you download.

Why is it taking like 2-3 mins for just one song to go onto my iPod?

I thought my iPod was fixed completely last night, when I was on the phone with apple for 2 hours. My iPod was "corrupted", it wouldn't open in my iTunes and it kept freezing it. We tried changing the disk letter, blah blah. We finally solved the problem by uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it. Then it finally opened in iTunes..restored and everything. I'm trying to put music on it and it's not cooperating with me.

There are 2-3 things that could be happening..
Some folks on here might say that you are experiencing the corruption problem with the classic... Which may be possible...
There may be something happening with your iPod's HDD causing it to check the drive each time a new files goes in
Third, you didn't describe where your music was stored... If its not on your computers C drive it may take it a few minutes to travel off of an external or netowrk drive.
Additionally, remember that the iPod's HDD (based on the model you own) is not a HDD like the ones in your computer... They have a slower transfer rate...

I had my phone screen replaced one day ago. When i was using it today I lost total image on my screen. Its not pitch black the screen looks like it turned on, and it was working fine when I lost image. I can hear siri when I hold down the home button.

The screen is just on, a dark blue or light black. I can hear siri. And when I receive emails but the screen stays dark blue when its on.

I'm not sure if it's a Kindle issue or BB10 OS issue, but it was kind interesting on my Z10 when it happened.
I've installed the Kindle app from appworld and I downloaded a free book, touch any content would prompt to download a dictionay for it, confirm it and the Notification red LED started to flash like crazy until the download was completed.

How to make firefox scroll SMOOTH like safari

Using the touchpad on my MBP, is there anyway to make firefox 2 scroll like Safari. I"ve installed ScrollWheel and configured it as best I could to use with my trackpad but it can't do near as good a job as Safari. Can anyone suggest anything?

as i predicted, the problem is only at your end, but your computer seems fair enough for browsing, mine could be considered the same, it really old - 2005, but with brand new motherboard:
CPU: AMD Phenom 2 cores @ 3.1ghz
GPU: ATI Radeon 3300 HD 512mb
HDD: 80GB ... thats how old it is...
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
my CD rom cant even read DVDs... so if i have to reinstall Windows 7 i have to buy a new DVD rom first :D
now i suggest you, if you insist on having the newest version of Firefox, consider trying some of these:
here are the Nightly (v7.0) build of Firefox, both x32 and x64, try installing the one that corresponds your system build type and see if you are having trouble with speeds
if that doesnt work and you still want to use the latest Firefox (5.0), then reintalling Windows 7 would be a good start, but on the other hand its not worth doing it just for just a browser, but the choise is yours
