Firefox is crashing and there are no crash reports

Hi there, I'm running Firefox 3.6.1.1 on Mac Os 10.6.4 and the browser is crashing constantly when accessing all kinds of different websites. There are no crash reports! I just upgraded firefox to a new version and this problem started occurring. Can you help? Yours Simon Kiss

I didn't ask for firefox 5 and there are 2 add ons that it isn't excepting that I can't find

I may have been offered fire fox 5 but did not accept the offer and it is on my computer when I started it up this am and there are 2 add ons it says are not compatable that i tried to locate to remove them and can't find them

A friend suggested that I do a system restore.
I did a search for system restore in Windows 7 and got a very intuitive menu.
I selected an earlier system restore point and executed the restore.
After the computer restart I reloaded Firefox 5.0 and the Ask.com problem was corrected.
My friend says this approach may work about 25% of the time to fix this kind of problem. In my case it worked and I am happy.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. Never mind, got it to work. I stumbled around on Google for a while and somehow ended up reading things from the 'jailbroken' community. They had easy instructions to get out of Recovery mode. Thanks anyway though!
P.S. For anyone who experiences this, here is the fix: Hold Power and Home in unison for 6 seconds, then power on as normal.

What do I do if I lost my power cord to my iPhone 5 and there are no lightning cords or adapters available in my city or on-line at the apple store for 2-3 weeks?? My phone is going to die - I have no way to get the new power cord.

I got the new iPhone 5 last week and have been happy with it. I went to the apple store on-line a few days later to order some adapters for the power cord, so that I could use it with my alarm clock and dock at work - although they are back ordered until nov. yesterday I lost my lightning power cord and there are NONE available in my city and the apple store is till out of stock for at least a couple of weeks. Sorry to tell you but unless you have a Retail Apple Store close by, they are the only ones I have found with all the adapters and accessories. I bought an extra lightning to usb adapter the other day to use in my truck. Good luck....

These are Apple's tips on this:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.

10 marks for recognising the Latin (sort of) that is the placeholder text in your template.
You are using a Word Processing template. WP templates have content flowing from page to page. As one page fills up, a new one is created. If some of that text is deleted or displaced the pages retract.
When you combine text, invisibles like word spaces, returns, tabs, page breaks etc with objects that have text wrap set, the mix can behave in an apparent odd fashion.
Start with showing where everything is:
Menu > View > Show Layout/Invisibles
Start with getting rid of any excess returns you may have used to "position" things. Next cut and paste objects like textboxes, shapes, charts and tables "Inline" ie in as part of the text. If necessary also turn off text wrap on objects or minimise it so that doesn't push text completely out of the way.
Insert Section breaks in the Text where you want fixed breaks in the layout these will provide separation between layout on different pages.
Basically you need to clean up your layout or think about doing it another way.
If there is a lot of layout, you will need to learn Pages methods for doing this in a WP template or do it in a Layout template where each page is individual and all objects are floating with no default text area.

For the time being, shoot JPEG images. At this time there is no support for NEF files from the D7200 in any Adobe product. It was released at such a time that it wasn't included in the last Camera Raw update. And Lightroom hasn't been updated either. Consequently, there is no DNG converter available at this time. We will have to wait and see what programs will be able to accommodate the D7200 when Adobe releases updates or upgrades that support the camera.

The new firefox 33.1 and 34 are not compatible with my school Blackboard account

I have used Firefox since it was first introduced. I prefer it to MS Explorer. However the new Firefox, 33.1 and 34 are not compatible with my school Blackboard account, so I had to delete Firefox and use Explorer. I would prefer to use Firefox. Is an earlier version (Prior to 33.1) still available?

It's been a few years since we have had many questions about Blackboard compatibility with Firefox, but overall the problems in that past had to do with either Blackboard not updating in a timely manner ''[which I don't think is the case any longer]'' OR the school wasn't running the latest version of Blackboard software ''[which considering the current state of many government budgets, may be the case now.]''.

My advice is to install Firefox Portable ESR to your hard drive for use at that Blackboard website and continue to use Firefox 34 for other purposes.
