Firefox is freezing up and not allowing me to click links on a website.
The green timer in the tab just keeps running, but does not allow me to select any links, thus I have to go into task manager and shut the program down, just to operate it again. I am using Windows Vista as a platform. It does not do it on the websites I have bookmarked, but when searching for something through Google, it has locked up almost every time. Is this just a beta problem? I was not having the issue on 3.6.1. How can this be fixed?

Firefox on my laptop will not allow me to post to a website forum I visit all the time. It will not let me logout of the website either. This happened suddenly while I was on the site. Firefox on my PC works fine.

Question
When I am NOT private browsing Firefox will not allow me to delete or change the website address in the location bar. My only remedy is to open a new window and search in google then click the link to that site through google. When I swap to private browsing firefox allows me to anter the website address directly into the location bar - but this is a slow [prcess to swap back and forth - also by dint of using private browsing I loose my website information.Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Was this an unusual mail message in any way, such as a message with a very large attachment? If so, it may not be permitted by the mail server.
If you mean that all of Mail.app is currently wedged, then option-click (and hold) on the Mail.app icon in the dock and (when the popup appears) select force quit.
If Mail.app is not wedged (and if it's just this message that's stuck), then ignore this and don't force-quit mail. Just Quit from mail.
Take your network offline. (If Mail.app is working, you can take all your mail accounts offline, but shutting off WiFi or removing your wired connection will work well enough for the purposes here.)
Relaunch Mail.app and select Mailbox > Rebuild from the menu.
Then select the Window > Connection Doctor from the menu, and see if any errors are reported.
Then nuke the message.
Then reconnect your network, or take your mail accounts back online. -
I have a new Mini and updated software. My monitor will keep flashing back and forth, shrinking the display and not allowing me to work. Sometimes clicking the mouse helps, sometimes clicking into the screen but it freezes up and won't allow me to work. Is this a monitor problem or is there some bug in my system.
Try just holding down on the power and home buttons to restart it. Thomas R. doesnt know what he was talking about. The tool is not made for jailbraeking and is not related to jailbreaking. If you want to get the link again, let me know, as I reapir iPhones, have been using it for years, nad it does NOT void your warranty. It simply reboots your device.
My apologies for all of the new people on this site who are novices to anything beyond iTunes or the device itself. Hopefuly your problem is solved. -
Firefox will not allow me to click on more than one link in a sequence. After one click, I am forced to switch to another active application before returning to Firefox and clicking on another link. I have seen this problem posted by others, but I can't find an answer by Mozilla. Since this problem makes Firefox virtually unusable (version 3.6.8) I would hope that Mozilla would offer an answer ASAP. Until then, I'm stuck with Explorer.

All of a sudded, my firefox browser isnt allowing my to click links and open pages, or open anything on the top area of the screen. For example i go to my email and i cant click on inbox, send, create, folders, mark as unread. It is like this on every website?? Its really annoying i cant do anything becasue most sites have login at the top of the screen and i cant login to anything.
That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

I just statred Flash CC for the first time and it seems that the text within the pop-up window (dialog box) is mis-aligned and not allowing me access to the command buttons, nor all the text. (ie: the NEW Template Box, can't see but 2/3 of the content) is there a fix to this problem? using 8.1, Monitor is a high res.2560x1440.

I have an iPod 4s and I am trying to update to IOS 6.1.6. I keep trying to download but it will not allow me to click download and install. I have checked my storage and I have more than enough storage space available. Do you guys have any suggestions?
The only available, signed, iOS, for your iPod, is iOS 7.1. That's why you can't install iOS 6.1.6.

No Plug-In specified and not allowed to bring up user interface

We have several users here getting an error when trying to sign a pdf with Adobe's digital signature. When they click in the field box to sign the document they are getting the following error,"No plug-in specified and not allowed to bring up user interface for selection." We are using Adobe acrobat 9 standard with the latest updates. I have done a total uninstall and reinstall and recreated the digital signature and still the error persists. I have gone as far as renaming the windows profile and nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?
AaronA signature field may have associated so-called "seed values" that specify certain signature properties and restrictions. The document's author can associate "seed values" with an unsigned signature field. One of the "seed values" specifies which external signature plug-in must be used to sign this signature field. If you do not have the required plug-in in the Acrobat installation then you cannot sign this signature field. This is the most likely reason that you get this error message. In some environments this is done to restrict the signing to only signing credentials that reside on hardware modules or signing pads. There might be other reason why the document's author chose to put in this restriction.
Contact the author of the document you are trying to sign and find out whether this is the case and if it is then which plug-in you need and where you get it from. -

I am not able to send my photos from my IPhone to my Mac. I went to my Cloud preferences and it is not allowing me to click on Photo Stream. When I went to "updates" is says I am updated.

Itunes freezing up and not responding
I have a Dell laptop running on Vista. I recently had to restore my iPhone 4S, and each time I launch iTunes, it opens and then stops responding. ("Not responding" shows in the task manager.) My laptop is very sluggish now, so I purchased a new laptop. Now I want to sync my newly-restored iphone with my old laptop but keep having the same problem. I also want to move my iTunes files to my new laptop, but because of the freezing up and "not responding", I am stuck. Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?
I'm having the same problem! I updated iTunes and now the program opens but doesn't respond to certain commands. HATE HATE HATE...
I'm reinstalling now thinking that may help...fingers crossed.

TS1424 what is error -1450?? and how do I solve it?
