Firefox is not allowing me to add new tabs. I'm pushing the plus sign next to my tab, and it is no longer adding new tabs. How do I fix this problem?

When I open Firefox, I automatically have one tab. The plus sign button to add more tabs is next to the one tab, but it no longer adds tabs when I click on it. When I click on it, it doesn't do anything. How can I fix this problem so I can have multiple tabs? I downloaded the most current version of Firefox, and I'm still having the same problem. I've had this problem for a little over a week now.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13+ versions. Uninstall that extension.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

Okay, update on my previous message:
I have replaced my iTunes-folder with a back-up version of the old one. Luckily this turned my podcasts back to normal and replaced the new 'library' with the old one.
This also solved the problem of having to erase your iPod or iPhone, which is no longer necessary.
So my solution is:
1. back-up your iTunes folder (located at 'User/Music/iTunes/')
2. remove iTunes 9.0.3 completely (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1224)
3. drag the iTunes folder back to the Music folder
4. Re-install iTunes 9.0.3.
It worked for me.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. Thanks so much for wading in. I did exactly what you suggested - glad you gave me the hint about how to access my library files. There was only one document that seemed to have anything to do with cache, and that was called Calendar Cache. (I've attached a screen capture of all the files incase I should have deleted something else as well.) I deleted Calendar Cache then restarted iCal, but after updating I was still unable to add new events.
Is there anything else you can suggest?

The menus.xml file is normally in your personal configuration folder. Before going to the trouble of reinstalling, try deleting your configuration folder. Details of how to find it are here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494812.
When you launch Dreamweaver, it should build a new configuration folder.

If you change your email, you do not need to "change" your AppleID. Just edit your email(s) on your Apple ID by logging in to your AppleID account. You should always use the same AppleID for Apple Services (iCloud, iTunes etc) and multiple ID will cause problems and confusion in the future.

Do not want attachments embedded - how do I fix this problem?!?!?!

I frequently have to send attachments in my mail messages (jpegs, tiffs, eps). However, every time I send attachments in jpeg, eps and tiff formats the recipient cannot download them. They are either invisible or embedded in the message - which I do NOT want. The only attachments that my clients seem to NOT have problems with are pdf's. How do I fix this problem? For now, whenever I have to send attachments in those formats, I have to switch over to Entourage. It does not make sense that this is a problem, since most designers use macs and have to deal with graphics on a daily basis, I am stunned that Mac is having this issue. I cringe that I have to switch to a Microsoft product in order to send certain e-mails. HELP!!!

When I receive mail, there is no problem. Attachments that people send me show up in an attachment list at the top of their message, just like in Entourage. I can flip the triangle and see the list of file names in their attachments, and can drag from this list to the location where I want to put a copy of the file. The fact that the image itself shows up at the bottom of the message isn't a problem (and is sometimes a benefit).
But when sending mail, it is very hard for me to compose my message. I can't control the attachments, and can't review the names of the files that I have included just before hitting "send".
Here is the Entourage format, which is what I really want. There is a place to put the attachments where they are independent of the message. I can drag a new attachment to this list any time while writing my message.

I have the same problem with lectures slides.
Furthermore, sometimes the text box, when doube-clicking, turns the text into a one-liner. Causing the text box to sometimes get 3. times wider than the pdf itself.

By pressing [cmd + I] the Inspector opens up and clicking on the rightmost tab 'Annotations' you should be able find those Annotations again. I do this regularly to find the empty annotations I accidentally create while clicking through slides.
