Firefox is not allowing me to open games through Facebook and is telling me the link is broken, what do I do about this?

Everytime I click on the bookmark on my facebook page to open farmville it will not open but tells me that the page is not there and the connection is not available. And since I have updated to Firefox 4 my facebook page is super slow loading which is causing me to lose out on numerous things that I try to collect for my games. Do I need to delete Firefox 4 and go with something else? Chrome or something others have good things to say about? Firefox was great before the last 2 updates and I hate to say it but it is horrible now. I need this problem with opening my farmville game fixed now because it will cost me if I cannot open it. Hopefully something will be done right away.

Lion is Not compatible with PPC (Power PC) based software, such as your older version of PhotoShop. Your choices are you can either upgrade to the newer version of PhotoShop, or you can backup your data and apps, erase your harddrive and reinstall Snow Leopard.

Empty the Safari cache more often.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Why does something as simple as the date on my computer being wrong cause firefox to not allow me to open any websites?

I saw others have this problem a few times...and people are trying to have them do all kinds of stuff to fix it. This is one of my errors:
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.facebook.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Does that for everything. And sometimes it has a double confirmation to go to the site anyway. Other times it will not let you go to a site no matter what.
So I came here and I realized what it was on my own after reading some complicated fixes people suggested to others who posted this problem.
Look at the date...not on your phone...on the computer with the problem.
So you guys may wanna make part of the warning message mention to make sure the date is correct on your computer. Also you would think a program connected to the internet with access to the correct time would not go by the computers clock. Or maybe you should make it verify the date online when this error occurs so the error message could tell the user what's wrong...or at least let him go to a website. Or maybe not even scare the user with a totally bogus security warning.

I know I said I figured it out it's just stupid and I wanted others to see the easy solution. So my computers date was 2009 and a current 2014 security certificate was ruled unsafe by firefox. That's logic for ya. Maybe only consider the cert expired when it's PAST the expiration date. You know like read the definition of expired. I think they have it backwards.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:

You can get that window when starting Firefox if you use Clear Recent History on closing Firefox and the recent history wasn't cleared because Firefox crashed or otherwise didn't close properly.

There are multiple sites that I log into (Netflix, Amazon, Firefox Hello, etc.) that are reporting that I am running an old version of Firefox. I am running versions 36.0, which reports to be up to date. I'm at a loss.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

I have been getting firefox not responding for months. It is worse today. I sit and wait and wait. It's not worth it. I have searched about plugins and find nothing that seems to get rid of the problem. Please what can I do about this.

When I first started with firefox it was great and I was so happy with it. Well I have to say it has gotten so bad today that I am ready to give up. I have run virus scans, malware scans and even disabled a couple of add ons but to no avail its terrible.
Surely you all know what add ons it could be if thats it at all. Getting pretty desperate here.

My iPhoto app was automatically updated to iLife but my OS is 10.6.8 and you need 10.7 so i can't open my pictures anymore and can't install the new iLife. What can I do??

Can anybody help me with this problem? How on earth can i open my iPhoto'08 app now the system automatically updated it to iLife 11 and to download it you need OS X 10.7 and this is 10.6. I'ts absolutely redicoulous. I've been to the Apple store and they didn't know either. Anybody out there with the same problem?

How do you know your iPhoto version if iPhoto 9 (11)? Use the Finder window in the Applicaition folder to see what version you have:
Also iPhoto 9 in now only available thru the App Store and it would not have let you download and install it if you didn't have the right system version.

When I left click to highlight it just moves a ghost copy of the whole document away from where you begin.

When I swap to private browsing firefox allows me to anter the website address directly into the location bar - but this is a slow [prcess to swap back and forth - also by dint of using private browsing I loose my website information.
