Firefox is stuck in Offline Mode-How do I get it in Online Mode

I upgraded to Firefox 4 and cannot get any online pages. I am told to uncheck the Work Offline menu item. Where is this menu?

The ''Work Offline'' option may have accidentally been enabled. To check this, press the ''Alt ''key to temporarily turn on the ''Menu Bar'', click on the ''File ''menu, and make sure ''Work Offline'' is unchecked.

I have my HP deskjet printer on my home network via Airport Express. My main router is an Airport extreme. I attempted to print from my Macbook but got a message that my printer was "offline." I could print from my iMac. I attempted to fix the problem with my Macbook by following advice I got here in discussions by deleting the printer with the intention of re-adding it. Could not figure out how to re-add it. Later, when attempting to print again from my iMac, I get the offline message again. Help is appreciated!

Give yourself a star, I found the web page that says your printer is no longer supported by HP. BUT it is supported under Gutenprint, I found it on their list. I would install their driver and see if that corrects your problem. Here's their page

I don't know how old your printer is but I suppose we can't expect HP to support them forever huh? If you still have problems maybe we can figure a way to get old drivers that work and install them.

I have an HP officejet pro L7580 all-in-one printer and I recently took my laptop away on business and although I can get on the internet, I can not print. I am using windows 7 operating system. When I trouble shoot it states I am offline but when I go to printers and devices the printer is ready with 2 messages in the queue!

Hello JohnLutkenhouse, You might try going to the Control Panel, Devices and Printers, click on the HP Officejst Pro L7580, and a window should open. The printer should have a green check mark on the icon which shows it is the default printer.
When you click on the printer icon, another window should open. Look at the top of this window for the words Printer Offline. Click on this line of text and another window should open. Click on the Printer in the upper left corner and another menu will open, where you should see the menu item Use Printer Offline. Click on this line.
Now just close out of all these windows and see if the printer will now work as you want.

TS2774 on my iphone, in Safari(not limited to) I get the message unable to connect to server,now the message says the internet is offline, how do I get it back online?

On my Iphone4 3G, which I have upgraded to 6.0, and, have had many issues but this is my main concern: Everytime I go to Safari (or dif. sites) I get msge that reads "cannot connect to server", today it upgraded to "that msge plus this "the internet is offline". How do I get it back online?

Make sure that Work Offline is unchecked: File > [] Work Offline

Mail Account is Stuck in Offline Mode-Can't Send or Receive Mail

A friend's iMac (running Leopard) has a persistent Mail problem. His account is stuck in Offline mode (triangle icon with exclamation point). He cannot send or receive email using the Mail app. His account works fine using Safari. Comcast, the service provider, says all settings are correct.
Suggestions, please!

It sounds like the Mail preferences file may be corrupt. Try this:
Quit Mail if it's running.
Go to Home/Library/Preferences and delete the com.apple.mail.plist file.
Restart Mail and setup the account again; Mail will find the existing account folder automatically. Then see if the problem continues.

My HP7250 All-in-One has gone offline again - How do I get it online again?

I have an HP7250 AIO that keeps going offline. In the past it has been the wireless radio and I have been told how to fix that - but that isn't the case this time.
My operating system is Windows 7 64-bit
According to the wireless test report all is good and it is connected to my router which is a D-Link Xtreme N (Dir 655). I have an HP Pavilion dv7 4090-ca laptop.

Make sure the router has the latest firmware. Early versions of the 655 had firmware that did not play nicely with HP printers.

THe phone is NOT jail broken.. all i want to do is have it return back to how it was before i started the updae version process obviously it did not take and now it is locked into plave the screen will not change.. after reboots and shut down when i turn it back on the same screeen appears the cd disc with the music note over it and the arrow pointing upwards and a picture of the small end of the charge cord that fits into the actual compute.. I have the same problem! Let me know if you manage to sort it out. My iPad did the same thing but to full restore from iTunes sorted that out. Have you tried that? No such luck with my iPhone.

i did a restore to get rid of updated firefox. know it won't open. how do i get it to open? The reason I got rid of the update is because it would not create multipal tabs of the same website, & i lost my tabs to boot. can anyone help with this?

*Press the Shift key while an entry in the drop down list is highlighted to disable "Switch to Tab" and see the URL.
*Use the cursor Right key to select an item marked as Switch to Tab in the drop down list and copy the URL to the location bar.
*Open the URL in a new tab by using Alt + Enter on the highlighted entry.
*Open the URL in the current tab by using Shift + Enter on the highlighted entry.
If you use a system restore then you have the risk that not all files are reverted to previous versions and you most likely have corrupted your Firefox installation. 
You will have to do a clean reinstall of Firefox and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\). 
Your personal data is stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure not to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Do you mean to create a clickable hyperlink while composing a new mail?
Just above the textarea that you use to enter the message text there is usually a button bar with buttons to add text formatting like Bold and Italic. 
That toolbar may also have a button to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button). 
You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink. 
If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each.
