Firefox keeps crashing on my htc evo shift 4g from sprint qhy
most websites i try to use crash for firefox beta mobile and my phone product is htc evo shift 4g from sprint
Hi btrlover123, I haven't noticed crashes inside Fx14 Mobile, the release version, but going "back" to the HTC Sense home page often white-screens.
Are there a few sample URLs that people can test which reliably cause you problems?

Why has Best Buy suddenly dropped the HTC EVO Shift 4G from inventory? I called my local store and they just told me that Best Buy no longer carries that phone in their stores. I also see that it's not on the website anymore. I had just checked on it a week or so ago. What happened??
Yes, I can confirm this problem in the released version. I don't know why apps would handle the hardware keyboard directly; seems Firefox Mobile should just receive the characters from the device. ??

Firefox keeps crashing after Lollipop update on HTC One M8. Won't even open!
After updating my firmware/software to the new Lollipop OS, Firefox keeps crashing. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling directly from the Googe Play Store and still nothing. When I click the Firefox icon the browser opens and then I immediately get a "We're Sorry, Firefox has crashed" notification. How can this be remedied? I've downloaded Dolphin Browser and might just not come back to Mozilla unfortunately if this continues...

i would suggest the following steps:
1. goto application manager, find firefox, press all available button to clear everything.
if it doesn't work, proceed with:
2. uninstall firefox
3. turn off the phone, boot into recovery mode and wipe the cache (this is NOT hard reset and you will not lose your stuff).
4. reboot and reinstall firefox
hope it helps! -

Firefox Keeps Crashing at random times
What I have done but doesn't solve my problems:
- I have create a new profile with firefox.exe -p

- I have disabled the hardware accelerator in Firefox
What is my problem?
My firefox keeps crashing at random times, I think I got the crashed when I load a Java thing in a web page or etc.

For some unknown reason firefox keeps crashing on my laptop computer. I mostly just use the internet for surfing and for emailing. It is very frustrating when I am trying to write an email and firefox crashes. I have unistalled and reinstalled firefox. I ran a McAfee scan on the computer and it has no problems with spyware or malware. It doesn't crash in safemode either. I am in safe mode now otherwise it would have crashed multiple times while getting to this page and typing this message.
If Firefox crashes frequently but stops crashing when you are in Safe Mode that is a pretty sure sign that there is something wrong with your individual setup of Firefox on your Windows 7 machine.
(The 99 others claiming to have the same problem this week probably have their own distinct and separate problems - if you are one of those 99 it may make sense to start your own questions about your problems, if you do not see suitable answers).
Many malware problems would continue even in Firefox's [[safe mode]], so the good news is that malware may not be your problem.
Note that safe mode does not disable plugins, you may wish to consider testing with your plugins disabled, just in case they are interacting with something. To temporarily disable plugins use
* '''Firefox button -> Add-ons -> |Plugins|'''
You do not list the Firefox extensions that are in use, maybe one of them is a problem. I suggest you try Firefox with half of them disabled, if that solves the problem, the troublesome add-on may be in the other half, disable them all and then try with half of the other half enabled. (If you have more than a handful of add-ons it is faster testing like that than enabling or disabling one at a time)
One very important question is how do you know Firefox is crashing ? <br/>will you please explain exactly what happens, and what if any error messages you are seeing. (If firefox freezes/hangs that may be different from Firefox or the OS crashing, and require different solutions).
On a general note the following articles may help with troubleshooting:
* [[basic troubleshooting]]
* [[troubleshooting extensions and themes]]
* [[http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_%28Firefox%29]]
and if the problem is a true crash

Firefox keeps crashing.
I have a Dell Windows 7 Professional 64-bit machine.
Firefox keeps crashing. "Sorry. Firefox had to close. We'll try to restore your page." (Not exact message.)
I have screen shots of the details, which are always the same. The first two lines of the details are: AdapterDeviceID: 0x2e22
AdapterVendorID: 0x8086
With the help of technicians I have tried the following fixes, none of which work:
Checked my video drivers.
Updated my Intel drivers.
Fiddled with the compatibility window. Tried Windows 7 and Windows XP. Checked and unchecked various items.
Clicked on Mozilla's "troubleshoot compatibility," which made some changes.
I am not computer-savvy. However, anyone who cares to respond can make your suggestions as technical as you need to; I'll share them with my technician.'''''[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Start Firefox in Safe Mode]''''' {web link}
While you are in safe mode;
Press the '''<Alt>''' or '''<F10>''' key to bring up the tool bar.
Followed by;
Windows; '''Tools > Options'''
Linux; '''Edit > Preferences'''
Mac; ''application name'' '''> Preferences'''
Then '''Advanced > General.'''
Look for and turn off '''Use Hardware Acceleration'''.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart. -
Kdemod updated, konqueror can't open a link. firefox keep crashing
upate to the new kdemod. Everything gets improved. But konqueror can't open a link, keep openning a dialog asking whether to save to the disk or open with firefox.
My firefox keep crashing too. Don't know why? I think nothing to do with kdemodThe key might be Windows 7, not Explorer or Firefox.
Go to Start menu and pick "Default Programs" Choose "Set Your Default Programs". Select "Firefox" from the list to the left Click on "Set this program as default"
Without exiting window, choose "Thunderbird" from same list at the left. Click "Set this program as default"
You can do this with as many programs as you like.
Then click "OK" button at bottom right of window.
I did not have to reboot. Hope this works for you! -
RE: Firefox keeps crashing
I just bought an imac 27 in I3. My problem is that firefox keeps crashing on certain sites. I can bring those sites up on Safari without any problems. Any one else have this problem and how did you solve the problem? I really like Firefox and don't want to go to Safari. Thanks for your help. George
Try uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it.

Firefox keeps crashing, how do I fix this?
Since today, Firefox keeps crashing as soon as I start using it, I've already looked for some ways to fix this online, but none of them helped.
My plug-ins are up to date, and I already reinstalled it, none of those things helped.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?A list of tools that you could use for scanning. Multiple and up to date tools need to be used.
