Firefox keeps losing my keyboard and will not type (Mac)
I will be part way through typing and Firefox loses the connection to my keyboard. This does not happen with Safari nor Chrome but I have to use Firefox with one web based programme because it will not display everything in Safari and Chrome is so slow it is impossible to use.
To get around the problem, I am doing some work in Safari and only what I can't do in Safari, I am switching to Firefox.
When you uninstall firefox, do you go to the control panel and in C:/ProgramFiles/(delete mozilla firefox)? Or only one of the two options?Try.

It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

I am in an endless loop on my other iMac computer. I happened upon a page where it said "phishing site ahead" and then a pop up comes on screen telling me to call a certain number and then I click okay and of course do not call and it will not let me out of this endless loop. Shut down computer, quit Safari, but when I reopen Safari it still takes me to that same page and will not let me out or use any menu items or toolbar items. Just the same little popup box telling me to call a certain number with an OK button and I can't go anywhere or do anything on Safari. What can I do?
Also I copied this from my other computer web page:
Reported Phishing website ahead. Your network ha been monitored. Your network has been compromised due to Browser hijacking. The browser hijacking software may redirect you towards phishing websites that try to access your Login Password details. To fix this browser redirection issue we recommend you ask for instant help. Help Line 1 877 899 1824.
Then another smaller popup window pops up
http://www.pcassists.info
Security Error
Call Helpline 1877 899 1824
So this is what I was talking about, and the small popup window plus the larger Window stating "Reported Phishing website ahead" will not go away and I cannot use Safari anymore even after I shut down my computer, disconnected it, and then signed on again and reopened Safari, it still takes me to that page and I cannot get out of it.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! -
Internet explorer works perfectly and firefox will not load any websites
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
* https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
* Close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in [[Safe mode]]:
* Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

ITune store keeps asking for password and will not download
Updated the iTune to the newest edition, 11.0.3.42. Now, when I try to purchase new videos or music, the itune store will repeatedly ask for password, even though I put the password in correctly, the box will pop up again asking for password as if I have not input the password at all. It will not finish the transaction or download. The only way I can purchanse anything is to sign out of iTune store, sign back it and make the purchase. Anyone else experience this problem?
I downloaded and installed iTunes and it seems to have fixed the problem:

Keyboard and Trackpad Not Working; Mac OSX Unexpectedly Quit?
Hey everyone... I think I may need to stop by the Apple store to figure this one out, but I just wanted to make sure if there was anything I could do on my own first.
So basically, on my MacBook Pro that I got nearly two years ago (late September of 2006) for the past month and a half has had problems. In the beginning, the mouse and keyboard would freeze up and just not work. Restarting the comp did nothing. Some times were worse than others (once it was frozen for 1.5 hours). Then it stopped, every now and then having a few freezes (sometimes when the keyboard froze but the trackpad was still good), but two days ago I had my comp not hooked up to an adapter. When the battery got low, the comp froze. I went to bed and closed the laptop, and the next day it was still frozen. I unfroze it, but then it happened again (I'm pretty sure the same situation... almost no battery)... and it is still frozen, even after multiple restarts.
Also, during the time when freezes weren't as bad, sometimes the keyboard would get stuck on one key, usually the volume up button (very annoying)... then I was told to restart the comp. When I came back, I was told that Mac OS X had unexpectedly quit.
Sorry that was a lot to read, but any help is really appreciated! Thanks!
Not sure if this is also important, but I did spill some water on the keyboard a very long time ago (late December '06)... it wouldn't take this long for that to cause the problem, would it?Does booting up in [Safe Mode|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455?viewlocale=en_US] help at all? This boot mode checks the disk on startup and disables non-apple start up items and certain kernel extensions.

Firefox crashed on loading V4 and will not come. How to recover?
I opened Firefox on my desktop this morning (4-1-11 about 7:30 am) and received and message to up grade to v4. I click on the icon. It started to upgrade then crashed. Reset to yesterday but Firefox would not come up. How do I recover?
You will just have to carefully pull harder. Push the other side back in so it is aligned, then pull it straight out.

Firefox gives me an error and will not connect to the internet. How can I fix this?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled but Firefox will still not connect. It gives me the inital start error message of "not being able to connect" etc. I am able to use IE and there is no connectivity issues at all. How do I fix this? I really prefer Firfox!
AHA!!! I had the same problem with no answer so I started doing some research. Apparently people with McAfee and Norton were having similar problems so I started there. I opened my McAfee and went into the Web and Email Protection. Click on Firewalls; click on Program Permissions. Scroll down to find Firefox. If you're having the same problem I did, it will say blocked. Change to allow. That should solve it!! I wonder if MS paid McAfee!!?? Hope it helps!

ThanksIt is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I downloaded Cydia a couple of days ago, now my Ipod touch keeps flashing the apple logo.
Try the remaining items here:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
If not successful and you can't turn the iPod completely off let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least of hour try again.
If still not successful then time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -

I've ran Anti Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware, Kapersky Security Scan, Microsoft Safety Scanner and Spybot and none of them seem to work. I have, also, tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling without success. I have included my Crash report for you to review. Ipod Classic keeps crashing I-Tunes and will not receive any music
Yesterday I deliberately deleted all the songs off I-tunes and tidied all my music up, got rid of all the Albums I didn't listen to and a lot of singles from years ago. I then connected my Ipod Classic (80gb if that makes any difference?) to my computer and because I-Tunes had no songs it updated the Ipod and wiped that aswell.
The problems started when I added all the songs back to I-Tunes and tried to sync the Ipod. It came up with an error which i cant remember exactly, something like an error has occurred and synchronisation can not be completed. Also Windows gave me an error box saying that a 'device' had bad sectors and needed to be repaired or it may not function correctly in the future.
I can no longer connect the Ipod as it just crashes the computer. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can repair the problem?
Thanks in advance.
