When I open Pages the template chooser doesn't open even though i have chosen that in preferences

In Pages preferences, I have chosen to open the template chooser window, but for some reason when I open Pages, it continually opens in a finder type window and I have to choose "new document" and then I will get the template chooser window...is this correct?

Firefox 3 opens automatically even though I have downloaded 4; how can I make 4 my default

When I switch my Macbook on Firefox 3.16 automatically comes into operation. I have to quit Firefox and then manually find Firefox 4.10 on my downloads screen. I then have to confirm that I want to open this download, click on the firefox image and wait while compatibility is checked. I then have to click on the firefox image again and at last I get Firefox Beta 10. There must be a way of making Firefox Beta 10 my default instead of Firefox 3.16

Firefox cannot display websites even though the laptop is connected

Firefox is my primary browser and it suddendly stopped working. My laptop is connected to the Internet wirelessly and I can use Skype and access my VPN but I cannot get on any website with Firefox nor with Internet Explorer. I don't know what to do.

There have been a few reports on here where Corsair RAM seems to have caused users a lot of grief with crashes.

Monterey Bay keeps asking me to fill out a questionnaire even though I have not visited the site--harassmentf!

For days now every time I exit Firefox a questionnaire from Monterey Bay shows up on my screen. I don't want to fill it out. I want it to go away!

Then it simply was NOT Brand New. Doesn't matter what the box looked like when you got it or if you went through the setup pages when you first turned it on. If it is registered to some other Apple ID then someone else had originally registered it and locked it to there ID.

Iphoto calendar creation won't let me make a calendar more than 12 months long even though I have chosen a 14 page calendar

In iphoto calendar creation, I have selected a 13 month calendar from December 2012-December 2013, wanting 13 pages. I have selected all my photos for the year and have started placing them in the Calendar. I'm at October and noticed that December is missing. Thought maybe i didn't request a 13 month calendar, but I have. Seems like the more months I want in the calendar, the end months keep dropping off. If i want a 14 month calendar starting in November 2012, then November and December 2013 are then gone. so....I changed it over and over trying to get the months back, but to no avail. I've created a new empty project calendar, requesting 13 months, and all 13 months are there. Problem is.....how do I get all the pictures from the old calendar over to the new ones without having to reselected 200 pictures again? Or is there a way to fix the original missing pages? Thanks.

Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If it doesn't then your current library is the culprit.
In that case make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Right click the printer in System Prefences - Print & Scan and use Reset Printing System... and then reinstall the printer, should take less than 5 minutes. Here is a photo showing how to Reset Printing System....

Try trashing the .plist with CharacterViewer in its name in Home/Library/Preferences. To get to Home/Library you may need to hold the option key down while you do Finder > Go.

Make sure that Firefox closes properly and that that there are no longer Firefox or plugin-container processes left on the Processes tab in the Task Manager. Otherwise session restore will reopen the page(s) from the previous session.

If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the menu bar appear.
