Firefox loads pages barely/not

Firefox recently doesn't load pages anymore, or it loads them only partially.
The startpage (google) is sometimes loaded completely, sometimes it appears only blank. If I go to other pages, FF aborts the loading process and only the background color is loaded, or it appears completely blank. But he states, that the page is loaded...
The connection with IE works, and it seems, when I load some pages in IE and visit them after that in FF, a little bit more of the page is loaded.
It is no problem with a firewall (since I am not running any, only a hardware-firewall). I have also created a new profile, and reinstalled firefox.
Antivir is running but the problem remains when I deactivate its processes.
It may have something to do with a virus, which I removed beforehand...

By the way, I tried to upload a screenshot of this page which should show the symptom but the 500K never ever finished uploading. Note that the background on this every page I load in Firefox is white. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox with no improvement.

FireFox home page does not always display correctly, hence I cannot do anything

On my Dell laptop the FireFox home page does not always fully display. When this happens I cannot access several web sites and some that I can do not display correctly either. On some occasions everything works correctly.
I have 2 Dell Inspiron laptops the same except one is running Vista (the one that does not always work) and one running Windows 7 (this one has no problems).

Firefox loads but will not do anything, can't get anything ,started 3 days ago

on 4/21/2013 I was on cox.net which is my home page. had several things minimized and using dvd r/w
player when icompleted doing my work, signed off. yesterday tried to start fire-fox when it loaded, screen was full could not get to funmoods search or home page, could not get to the buttons. The problem still exists today. When able to use ao some games get message flash player crashed could send report and re-start, today if get msg, will not re-start. I have Vista Hom premium and use fire-fox

When i open the add ons page in firefox the pages do not display correctly the pages only show text and are in lists

when i click on the add ons tab the page does not show correctly. There are no graphics just text. It is difficult to view the page details. If you click on a link within the page the next page opens with exactly the same problem. All other tabs and pages open and display correctly

My firefox custom page does not come up when i click the firefox icon w/mac

For the last 3 days when I click the firefox icon on my mac i get the plain igoogle page. My custom page does not automatically come up as befoe. Then I have to reset the i google password everytime then get to my page

Ok, lets do a couple of steps here first:
To make sure your windows isn't corrupted because of the power outage, let's run chkdsk.
Click on My Computer, then right click your C: Drive (if you have other hard drives, you will want to run this on them as well). Then, click Properties. Inside that window, go to the Tools tab. Inside that tab, open up the "Check Now" button. That will open a smaller window. Select the checkbox to "Automatically fix file system errors", then hit Start. You will probably receive an error asking if you want to schedule the disk check, click Yes, then restart your computer.

After running the chkdsk, then please go to [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com], and download a fresh version of Firefox. I'm assuming you are using Internet Explorer to download Firefox. Firefox browser not loading, page tabs not loading, search bar sending me to a different location. back buttons,refresh and x grayed out

search bar is not right, missing one search bar. last week the same bar would take me to a shopping site other than the site i typed in. now some things are missing, or grayed out on the tool bar, back buttons, refresh and red x is one. google button isn't working any more or option buttons. when it loads it doesnt show any tabs from last time. i have to reload several times for it to work. To find out the version of software you have go to Help and then choose About. I remember reading an article a while ago about a firewall application that when they did an update, it stopped some browsers from working or something like that.

Windows 7 64 bit: Just installed firefox and pages will not load, or are very slow, IE explorer loads instantly

I installed windows ultimate 64 bit, Tried to install firefox for my default browser. Internet explorer loads everything like normal, no problem but firefox will not load or does after 5 mins +
I checked my firewall windows provides and Avira to see if they were blocking, Found nothing of anything being blocked.

Otherwise, post it to the SOA forum if this is initiated by their generated code. The most common reason though is that the task flow lacks a default activity. So if the default activity is somewhat calculated dynamically in your application then this may be a reason

Firefox loads but does not display

1. When I double click the Firefox icon on my desktop the firefox.exe application loads (per the Task Manager) but it does not display. I have to use Task Manager to end the process. FF will usually display on the second try, but I often get a "this is embarrassing" message. This has been going on fore several months.
2. I don't know if this is related to the loading problem, but I frequently have to shut down & restart FF because some Bookmarks don't work when I click on them. Usually my Home Page icon at the top will work, but those in the Bookmark sidebar don't.

I am surprised that 17 other people have this problem and no one has any ideas.
Basically, I have had to abandon the use of Firefox and use IE ... is this a Microsoft conspiracy? I really like Firefox ... I am devastated.

Firefox will load and go to my home page it them stops working and when I hit a key on my mouse it beeps. The only way to get out of it is to press ALT F4 twice. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still has the same problem.

FireFox loads page fine, but IE takes 30 to 60 seconds??

I have updated one of our areas of our company's Intranet
website using DW8 and Fireworks8. I use templates so that a single
change can then be applied to multiple pages at once. I also use
Fireworks to create the navigation -- which I then imbed the HTML
and image slices from Fireworks into DW's template.
I use Firefox 98% of the time and it loaded just fine so I
published it. However, most everyone in our company uses IE. In IE,
the page, or any of the pages based on this template, takes 30 to
50 seconds to complete. Before that time, they show as 'not
responding'. But, as long as you are patient, it eventually
finishes loading and you can make ONE click and then wait another
30 to 50 seconds.
However, in Firefox, it works just fine. The only thing I can
think of that would cause this (it used to work fine) is the HTML
and/or image slices from Firefox as that is the only update I've
made to the template or to any of the pages based on the template.
I can copy the HTML here if needed.
Any ideas?

Good idea -- it will take me a bit to do. But, I'll get it
out there in the next day or so. I'm the lone' IT guy at a 150
employee company (fun fun) so time is an asset. : )
Oh, and there isn't any confidential info -- this is more for
employee morale (recipe sharing).
