Firefox makes computer audio stop alltogether (until closed!)

Greetings,
as of the last month, Firefox has been giving me this problem with my audio, where after a while of having the browser opened, the sound stops working completely. Some of the following are examples to detail my problem:
- If I am playing a video, the audio stops, but the video continues playing- when trying to replay the video, however, it throws me the "There has been an error" screen.
- Not even from sounds from chatting programs that are external to Firefox (Skype, QQ International, etc. ) work.
- When I try playing a song with, for example, windows media player, it gives me an error related to my RAM. This is very strange since I have over 10gb of memory RAM. (Here an screenshot http://prntscr.com/5o0oj7 )
It's worth noting that this only happens after having Firefox open for a bit, then when it happens, I fix it all by just closing Firefox and starting it again (the problem still happens after a while, tho).
A friend of mine suggested changing the size of my page file, so I did, I set it to 15gb-- but the problem persists. :(
I'd be very grateful if you guys could help me fix this- I love Firefox, and I'd hate to have to change to any other browser because of this annoying problem. :^(
