Firefox Metro Win8 beta 28 not working

Installed/upgraded Firefox v27 to v28beta to try out the Windows 8 Touch version on my Surface Pro 2.
Relaunched via menu link in desktop version. Opened up in Metro on my home page Google, but no menu bar anywhere. Closed and reopened using Metro icon. Opens to the start? screen showing history links tiles and other things, but still no menu bar. None of the links show work. Forced to restart in desktop mode.

Go to your actual realplayer (program), click the top right button (Realplayer with an downwards arrow) and update your software. Make sure Firefox is closed while you do this.

Very weird day in Firefoxland
First on a Powerbook G4 running 10.4.11 I respond to an invitation to upgrade to Firefox 4 (like a lot of others). Long story short, I wind up losing the browser altogether -- including all bookmarks. Why? Because neither the Firefox homepage (or CNET downloads) makes it clear that 4.0 is for OS 10.5 only! Amazing!
Then I try to register to post a reply in a thread that crits Firefox for not making this System Requirements info upfront clear. But the Register page I’m taken to (https://support.mozilla.com/bs/users/register) is in SERBO-CROATIAN!!
Then I try to log into Chat a couple of times and when it’s not CLOSED its a long line waiting and THEN it closes.
WOW!! Are the wheels off the wagon here or what!?!

Downloaded firefox 4.o. Will not work now. I have Mac OS 10.4.11. I am very disappointed in firefox. I need help, I lost a lot of important stuff.

Firefox up dated and restarted. The firefox screen said that it recommended upgrading to 4.0, so I did. 4.0 replaced the older version and now does not work.

Hello guys i m getting problem in date picker css in new version(21.0) firefox month & year drop down not working but its working when I close the dialog box

when I m opning datepicker (by jquery 1.7.3 min.js) it will work on normal UI but it's dropdown not working in dialog UI after I closed the dialog the datepicker dropdown works
and also it works in older version of firefox like 15.0

All of the App Tabs you have set when you close Firefox will open as App Tabs when you start Firefox again. This is not working, windows XP system. Bug or fix?

Just installed v5 of Firefox over v4.1 to XP system, 2Gb memory. Reinstalled 2Java updates, Silverlight and adobe reader as recommended in post firefox installation window. Rebooted and tried to make the new AppTabs work to no avail.
I"m not sure what else you need. The new AppTabs are not working. When Firefox is closed, AppTabs do not reappear when it is reopened later. They were installed by right-click on open tab as instructed on your upgrade website. Tabs were for yMail, gMail, and iGoogle. I have not tried to pin any other apps or sites. Is there anything I can do to make this work, or is this a bug? Thanks for the assist. mikeS

It is possible that there is a problem with the files [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

FireFox 3.6.16 still not working with Flash!

Since updating to the latest version of FireFox 3.6 I have not been able to watch flash video's on YouTube and other sites, also any flash based content is blank or black.
I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.8 on a G5 PPC so Flash 10.1.102.64, the latest for PPC Mac's.
I've gone through all the usual steps of disabling plug-in's and extensions with no luck.
I'm also using the latest Safari 5 and it is still working with YouTube and other Flash sites.
ETA - Just found something weird, if I launch the QuickTime Player (not the plug-in) after launching FireFox then Flash appears to act normally, even after quiting QT.

Firefox 4.0 beta is not opening a window when I try to start it up

downloaded the firefox 4.0 beta on my laptop MacBook Pro, with OSX 10.6.4. Firefox would not open a new window when I tried to start up the application.

Firefox 9 : 2 fingers swipe not working

Just downloaded and installed Firefox 9.0 today on my MacBook pro.
2 fingers swipe simply does not work. No signs of movements :)
I even restarted after the install ... very Windows of me

Firefox and Adobe Flash player not working

I guess the people at Mozzila and or Adobe haven't updated which ever APP is not working properly with ICS. I had read previously that this was a problem. I downloaded Flash ver 11 right after the ICS upgrade and it does not work in Firefox but does in Dolphin.

There are reports that FLASH is being abandoned ... the latest version seems to work though for now in specific browsers (after re-installing FLASH 11 ) ... HTML5 is what everyone is moving to.

FireFox 7 javascript window.moveto not working

When I create and then open an html file with FireFox 7, the window does not resize or move. This is the html in the file I open:

FireFox opens the webpage, but does not move or resize the window. This worked before I upgraded from FireFox 6 to FireFox 7.

Aside from capriciously damaging Firefox in this way being VERY inconvenient, it DIRECTLY CONTRADICTS the settings option for
Firefox>Preferences>Content>Enable JavaScript>Advanced !
I.e. FF7 Preferences implies that users CAN allow such [usefuil!] javascript windows resizing/repositioning ... while FF7 refuses to allow users that control!
