Firefox Mobile changes bookmark order after sync

I've got all my bookmarks arranged on Firefox desktop into various folders and there are also various bookmarks in the Unsorted Bookmarks folder that are sorted by date added. I've connected to Firefox sync and synced the desktop. I've then installed firefox mobile on android and connected that to Firefox Sync. This then syncs all my desktop bookmarks on to Firefox mobile. However when I go back into Firefox desktop the order of my unsorted bookmarks has been changed and ordered by name.
I assumed that either Firefox Desktop would be the master and everyother device synced with this would follow the same order or that the first device linked (the desktop) would be the master. However Firefox mobile seems to sync the bookmarks, change the order and then sync this new order with the desktop.

This morning I turned on my computer and open firefox, you bookmarks toolbar back chaotic.. you can see my snapshot
so chaos occurs bookmarks toolbar every firefox is opened and synchronize.
although today I fix bookmarks toolbar, tomorrow morning when I open firefox, it would be chaos again

The scenario is that Order Confirmation vednors sends contains delivery date or delivery qunatity variance within defined tolerances. In such cases it is acceptable to allow automatic PO change.

The system logs all the relevant purchasing documents and can therefore determine all the documents affected by a change to a condition.
- This is only possible for purchasing documents for which follow-on documents (goods receipt, invoice receipt) do not exist.
- Before you run this report, you must have run report RMEBEIN4 (creation of worklist for automatic document adjustment).

Changing track order after importing

I am trying to import opera CDs into my iTunes library. Operas usually take up 2 or 3 CDs, and when I try to upload the multiple CDs to my library, iTunes mixes up the order of the tracks so that I can't listen to the opera in order. How do I change the order of the tracks in the iTunes library so that I can listen to the opera in order?

Try this, I found that it works for me. Right click at the top of any column in your iTunes library and choose **Track Number** from the list. Click at the top of this new column to sort it and after that click on the Album by year column. If you like you can then click on Artist, it will continue to hold the track order as well. Afterwards anything you import should follow this arrangement Track Number>Album>Artist. Make sure the little triangle on the right side of the track number column header is pointing up. In that direction the column is sorted in Ascending order (lowest to highest).

Desktop bookmarks jumbled after sync setup with Android

Every time I set up sync on my Android device, the bookmarks on my Desktop firefox end up jumbled.
I've been using Firefox 10, Beta 11+12 and Aurora 12+13 on my Galaxy Nexus and every time I set up sync, the bookmarks on my desktop Firefox (Win7x64, v. 12 + Beta 13) end up all jumbled. Reordering takes time and nerves, and I wonder if there is way to prevent this.

So, speaking from the perspective of an amateur programmer, wouldn't you want to pop up an alert when the user is trying to close Firefox, stating "Sync is in progress. Exiting Firefox now may cause bookmarks to not sync correctly. Are you sure you want to exit?" Or at the very least, have some kind of notification on the toolbar that a Sync is in progress. This is a odd oversight.

Firefox mobile beta stops downloading after ~2 seconds on EVO4G

A msg says ~"dnld starting..." Then that msg fades after a couple of seconds while the download screen remains onscreen. Nothing happens, though.
EVO4G w Froyo. All updates current. 216 MB internal storage available. Allow installation of non-mkt apps checked.

1) Pulling down notification bar didn't help, but
2) Menu/More/Downloads did reveal five Firefox downloads! Clicking on one led to installation.
Source of the problem was that this download, unlike all previous Android downloads, ''didn't signal that download was complete'' and ready for install. I would never have gotten it installed w/o your Menu/More/Downloads tip. So, thanks again for that.

How can I drag and drop lectures within an itunes U album so that they appear in order after syncing with my iphone?

Whenever I download audio iTunes U lectures, they don't show up in the order in which they were recorded and therefore do not sync in order on my iphone. There is no sorting option to sort by date recorded. All I want to do is drag and drop the individual lectures to their proper location so that they will be in order by recording date. Anyone have the secret?

This problem started last year when ios 8 was released. I think apple is trying to force users to buy music on iTunes store and that's why it's impossible to sync other music and also that's the reason why they haven't solved this serious problem. That's really disappoints me and i'm angry with apple because i have like 10 gb of music in mp3 and i can't sync music from iTunes to my iPhone.

Photos on iPhone in wrong order after sync with iMac iPhoto

I just purchased my iPhone 6 and am trying to get it all set up with my photos stored on iPhoto on iMac. When I sync phone using iTunes all of images sync over. Not a problem. But here's where the issue is... On my iMac in iPhoto, all photos are displayed correctly with right time and date (along with locations). However, once syncing to my iPhone, a select 6 photos (random ones) are being displayed as taken most recently (yesterday) with wrong location. To be clear, this isn't under events but rather "Moments" on the Photos tab on iPhone.
What is going on? It looks fine on iMac. I have never adjusted the time and date of these photos so not sure how this is even possible. I'm using iOS 8.1. Thanks for your help!

My iPhone 4 camera roll decides to rebuild the library every once in a while and everytime this happens, it moves my most refer pictures and places them some where in the middle of the camera roll, making my last pictures I took with my 3Gs the most recent ones showing at the bottom. Small inconvenience but it looks like someone at Apple screwed up in setting up the sequence numbering of these pix and now it's a pain for the end users.
Has anyone experience the same issue and been able to successfully solve the problem? Please help.

Firefox changes the "order" of my multiple display from 4-3-1-2 to 2-1-3-4

When my PC starts, the "order" of my monitors in Control Panel | Display | Screen Resolution is: 4-3-1-2
After I start Firefox, it changes the "order" to 2-1-3-4
I have to go into the Control panel and Change the appearance of your displays back to 4-3-1-2
I'm using Windows 8.1 with Firefox as my default browser. Everything is up-to-date.
I've had this problem for a long, long time, I've just never gotten around to seeking help for it. Always having to go into the Control Panel to "rearrange" by monitors is a nuisance.
Any assistance to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated!

I've never heard of something like this. But I suppose it's possible that it has something to do with hardware acceleration. Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
#Open Firefox ''Options'' window (''Preferences'' on Mac or Linux) as follows:
#* In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]] and select ''Options'' for Windows or ''Preferences'' on Mac or Linux.
#* In Firefox 28.0 and previous versions, click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
#In the Firefox Options (or Preferences) window, click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select ''General''.
#In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
#Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

I had to go through and delete duplicated bookmarks. After syncing up computers, turn only one on, one with duplicates. Organize, remove, relabel the bookmarks. Open tools(XP) or Firefox upper left(win7) options,Sync,manage account, reset sync,replace all other devices with this computer's data.
Seemed to work for me.
Sync instructions could be a lot clearer about this.
I am not clear how syncing works when 2 computers are on all the time.

This year, the government has canceled the daylight saving time , that's why happening this problem to me so I changed the time zone in iPhone from Cairo,Egypt (GMT+2 with daylight saving) to Harare,Zimbabwe (GMT+2 without daylight saving , no change in time from summer & winter) & now working good, no change in time after sync. , But it's very stupid thing from apple that they didn't add an option in time setting to enable or disable the daylight saving time like any other mobile.

Sorry, there's no simple way to sort bookmarks in Firefox for mobile.
If you use Firefox Sync to synchronize bookmarks with Firefox on your computer, then you can move bookmarks around in the "Mobile Bookmarks" folder on your computer to re-order them on your phone.

HT1386 Change of order in playlists. Problems after sync

I have my ipod classic for many years, but recently encountered problems after sync. Itunes changes the order of tracks in my playlists. I want them be ordered by album, but itunes ordered it by "ticked". I tried to change it before sync. First this seem to be work, but now the order is again wrong. I find this really annoying, because "ticked" seemed to mean to be similar to "by name" of tracks. This does not make any sense for my music.
Any ideas, what I can do?

Sync on Firefox mobile puts my Bookmarks Menu into Unsorted Bookmarks

On my laptop, I have Firefox 3.6.1.2 with Firefox Sync add-on 1.5. I have most of my bookmarks organized into multiple folders inside in the Bookmarks Menu folder.
On my Droid, I have Firefox Mobile 4.0b2 and I have set up sync.
Once I sync Firefox Mobile, and use it to look at bookmarks from my desktop, there's a problem:
The bookmarks from my desktop that should show up organized into subfolders under the Bookmarks Menu, instead are showing up in one long randomly sorted list under Unsorted Bookmarks (which on my laptop is empty).
The only bookmarks section that isn't getting mixed up this way is Bookmarks Toolbar, it is correctly showing the same bookmarks from Bookmarks Toolbar on my laptop.

This problem existed with the previous public beta as well, and it never resolved itself over a period of several weeks where I ran Fennec once maybe every few days.
With this new beta, I can't answer the question - it was so slow that I uninstalled it, sorry! (noticeably slower than the previous beta - I have a Moto Droid I with Froyo).
However, if it helps, I have attached a screen shot of my bookmarks bar on my PC so you can get an idea of how many bookmarks I've got and how they're organized (most of my bookmarks folders under Bookmarks Menu contain at least several dozen bookmarks each, and a few also contain subfolders).
I also should note that in Firefox sync prefs on my PC, I am only syncing bookmarks; I'm not syncing anything else (like tabs, history, etc.).

I cannot sign on to sync to get my passwords and bookmarks back after update of FF... Please help

A few weeks ago my FF browser updated to 29.0.1 and since then I can no longer access my saved password file or bookmarks. This is extremely frustrating and I have tried everything I could figure out to try, even used my back - up to reload from a previous date with no luck. Then FF reloaded the new version again. Here is my problem. I have other devices, (Smartphone, Android tablet) that both use FF mobile on them and they have my bookmarks still. I think if I could retrieve my sync account, I could get this all back, only problem is, I have not had to use that password in years along with changing my ISP a few years back, so it does not even recognize my e-mail address. FF apparently has no phone support or at least I cannot find it and I would like to straighten this out with them. I tried reaching them on Facebook with no reply. I just don't know what to do any more and need those passwords and bookmarks ......

hello, firefox 29 has introduced a new sync system which isn't compatible with accounts set up in prior versions.
# in this case you'd probably have to use a workaround and first download the prior firefox 28 version and disable automatic updating for the moment (in options > advanced > update): [[Install an older version of Firefox]]
#on your android device go into the system's ''settings'' app and into ''accounts & synchronisation'' (might be worded slightly different on various android devices), go to firefox sync & tap on pair a device.
#on your desktop go to ''firefox > options > sync > set up firefox sync > i have an account'' which will show you a 3x4 character code that you'll have to enter into your android device in order to complete the process.

I am unable to change either the tab order or bookmark order in FF 8.0.1.

Recently, I discovered that I could not change the order of the tabs after I'd opened them. I also cannot change the order of the bookmarks or their folders (this started at the same time, so I think this is a related issue). This started less than a week ago.

That issue can be caused by the Torbutton extension
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
