FIREFOX - No "REMOVE" option for Skype Add-on

How do I REMOVE the Skype add-on from Firefox? There is only the option to enable or disable. Everytime somebody calls me my browser starts ringing. It's infuriating.

The add-ons tool window hangs when I click Options for any add-on

This morning, IE8 showed up as the default browser. Also, the Lastpass button was missing. When I click Tools-Add-ons and click the Options button for any add-on, the window hangs. Sometimes it hangs FF as well.

I resolved this by using a different add-on.
I was issued a new computer at work. It's a Windows 7 Dell E6410, and I was configuring a new installation of Firefox for it. I had downloaded the same URL shortening tool that I used on my old Windows XP IBM T60 computer. That add-on had the hang when you click on "Options" from the Tools > Add-ons menu. After uninstalling the add-on, I searched for a different URL shortening tool, and this one did NOT produce the hang.

Hawaii is not in State options for skype number

I am trying to get a skype number but the state of Hawaii does not appear in the state options.

The same with Alaska. I checked the list and only the continetal 48 states are on the list for United States. doesn't seem fair.

If Firefox is not the default browser is there anyway to create an "Open with Firefox" right click option for internet icons on the desktop??

When internet icons on the desktop are right clicked and Firefox is not the default browser, is there anyway to create an "Open with Firefox" option in the right click menu? If not you should create one in future versions.

You will have to create a copy of the Firefox desktop shortcut and add the URL to the target line if you want to open such an internet shortcut with Firefox.
A normal internet shortcut will always open in the default browser.

Options for running add-on

Hi everyone,
I have created some extra functionality to SAP Business One using vb 2005. These features will need to be used by others and I was wondering if anyone knew how these users will be able to run these add-ons. At the moment my code simply hooks into an already open SAP application and adds the add-ons.
Ideally I need to be able to either:
1. Run the add-ons from the SAP application.....or
2. Run my own executable which opens up SAP Business one and then adds the add-ons
Has anybody any ideas

You should create a "real" addon, I mean, not one that starts once business one is already running, but one that is managed by business one (so it starts automatically or manually, maybe being mandatory?).
You have to create an addon installer for business one to know about it. You can create installers using install shield or other tools, but I recommend you to use the one provided in the SBO Development tools, which you can found on the downloads section of the SDN.
By the way, I'm pretty impressed with the fact that you didn't already know about this... while having 42 posts?

Remove option for Data Tracking and Drill Mode

Hi all
We have integrated a bunch of Webi reports into the SAP Portal. My question is now how to remove the options about Data Tracking and Drill Mode in the top right hand corner? I guess it is some special right we need to deny in the Access Level, we have defined. But if I deny data tracking and drilling in the Web Intelligence section of the Access Level, it has no effect.

I, too, am perplexed by this change. Then again, I've been perplexed by most of the changes Apple has made to products/os in the last few years. I'm thinking that I may not only change browsers, but hardware/software also. It's issues like this that make me wonder if anyone on the Apple design team actually uses any of their products, or maybe they think we are all just too ignorant to be able to use a computer.
Making things simple to use shouldn't equate to removing advanced functionality, but it seems that's what Apple believes it to be.
Really disgusted now.

Lack of country options for Skype Numbers

Why is it that there's not many Skype numbers for Latin American countries? one of the biggest and fast growing regions in the world now and you only have numbers for Chile and Brazil..
Whey are you planning to expand to Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, etc. There is a lot of startup businesses in Latin America and (we) young professionals need this kind of services to catch up.

Does FireFox have landscape option for mobiles

u have a HTC inspire and use landscape quite a bit but FireFox doesn't seem to have it. why?

Firefox hangs when clicking "Options" on any add-on in the add-on manager.

After the latest update the add-on manager window hangs whenever i click on the options for any add-on. The main firefox window works fine, but i am unable to to go into the options for my add-ons. Moreover, my search engines keep rearranging and disappearing. I dont know if that's relevant, but I thought I should add it too.

I installed 4 different extensions ... when I click on addon manager and click any extension "options" the whole addon manger freezes up for me as well. I can't close or escape the window. I can open another browser window but the old window with the addon manager is frozen so I must use task manager to close.
After trying many options this worked for me ... I uninstalled Adobe Flash plugin and reinstalled Shockwave Flash 11.0.1.152 ... I do not know why or how but it fixed the problem Now everything is working HURRAY!

There are some addons/extensions which are not compatible with my current version of mozilla. I am seeing the "type error: components.classes[cid]" evry time while starting the firefox. So, i want to remove those incompatible addons. Those are google gears 0.5.36.0,speed boat video downloader2.2.9,widgi toolbar flatform4.4,you tube downloader toolbar 4.4. I went to tools>options>manage addons. But i cant see remove option for above mentioned addons, only disable option i am seeing. What should i do then?

Those extensions were probably installed like plug-ins and since you see them as extensions you will probably have to uninstall each of them through the Control Panel, see directions for various systems in

Skype for web add file transfer option

First of all, this web based skype is pretty good. There is only on thing i seen to be missing and that is an option for file transfer/sharing. Keep up the good work on this guys and do not dare to dissapoint us again like when you removed the modern windows skype app

Is there a way to completely disable tabs (removing all tab related menu options) for firefox 10. I hate tabs and recent changes to the menus make incorrect selection of 'open in new tab' when what I want is 'open in new window' a common and unwelcome occurrence.
