This is a known issue. From an initial investigation it may be an issue with Android L itself.

You can wipe the iPad's contents completely by going to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings. This will remove all of the previous user's apps, data, settings and so on from the iPad and you can set it up as your own.

Can't open re-installed Firefox - get this message: Error: platform version5.0 is not compatible with minVersion = 6.0 maxVersion = 6.0

Had to uninstall Firefox as it stopped working. The went to website and downloaded Firefox once more. Pressed the .exe and the file went through the installation okay, but when I tried to open Firefox I get:

The only option i have is to press OK and nothing else happens.
Can you offer any help - it is beyond me and I am missing Firfox and have lost all my bookmarks.

The updater wasn't able to update all the files and some were left as older versions. 
Do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

I updated my old mac Mini to OSX10.5 (Leopard) and installed the latest version of Firefox, only to get a message that it 'is not compatible with this architecture'. Any suggestions on how to get a superior web browser back?

I am running mac osx 10.5.8, but FireFox is giving me a message that it is not compatible with my version of osx and will not let me install. The web site says it is compatible with osx 10.5. Am I missing something?

I went to check my version information by selecting about under the help menu. Firefox started downloading the update and prompted me when it finished. I ok'd it, not realizing it would update to 10.0. A toolbar that I use is not compatible with the new version so I need to download the previous version. Can anyone tell me how to find 9.0. Thanks

To keep your computer and files safe, you should not go back to Firefox 9. Firefox 10 contains security fixes. You may be able to make your toolbar work by using the add-on compatibility reporter as described in this article [[Add-ons are disabled after updating Firefox]].

Just installed Firefox 5.0 yesterday. No problems till now.
Came in for the day. Had last used Firefox about 3 hours earlier without incident. Tried to open, but message said it was already open so I should restart it, or failing at that, restart my system. After rebooting, I get this eror message when I try to open Firefox.

Check with Kaspersky as to what versions of Firefox their programs are compatible with. It is up to Kaspersky to keep their stuff up to date as Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox. And if they are unwilling or incapable of doing it, they should inform their customers of such and maybe refund their customers instead of stringing them along.

Why does Firefox keep updating when it knows it will not be compatible with extensions and plugins?

firefox now will not let me run videos or my birthday e-cards. i tried all of their solutions as much as i could but am not even vaguely a techie at 61.
why do the insist on updates that render stuff i use daily useless? why do I have delete or downgrade stuff to get things to work? this is total nonsense.

This is getting complicated. Flash Player problems are not necessarily the only subject of this thread and it is a solved thread so it would be best to open a new question.
The situation changes as new versions of Firefox and FlashPlayer are released, and both have updated within the last few days.
Regarding FlashPlayer problms with Flash 11.3 there appear to be three problems
* Real Player - that is best dealt with as a separate problem - so a first question has to be are you using Real Player and if so does that include video recording/downloading features ?
* Protected mode Many problems on Windows Firefox relate to the use of protected mode by the Flash Payer 11.3 . Also note this is an issue only affecting recent Windows OS s .
*Protected mode setting it is possible to set this or unset it manually, it is also possible for installers to set or unset this so not only the version, but where you obtain it and what the installer is can make a difference.
The security level of these versions also needs considering, remember protected mode is itself a security enhancement.

I have an iphone 3g and my itunes wont back it up anymore. after the sync it says "itunes could not back up the iphone because the file has been corrupt or is not compatible with the device." i already went to prefrences and deleted the old back up file.

I banged my head on the wall with the same problem for two days. Tried everything mentioned, and this worked, finally. The problem is that the backup files are not where you think they are.
You need to delete the MobilSync backup folder. I have a Mac. Went to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and deleted the Backup folder.

Photoshop Elements 9 has numerous issues. Is it compatible with MacOS X version 10.7.5?

When I close a file, and then close the program, I will reopen the program and the file(s) will still be open. When I try to add text to an image the type tools do not work at all. When I add shapes such as speech bubbles and try to flip them (horizontally or vertically) the entire image flips. updates do not download and no explanation is given other than they will not download. is my software compatible with my operating system?

Are you a new switcher from windows, by any chance? Closing the window doesn't quit the program for most mac programs (unless it's something like system preferences that can only ever have one window).
If you mean that you close the image windows in PSE before quitting and they're all open again the next time you start PSE, yes that is a glitch in PSE 9 and 10.7, but hardly the same as not working at all.
I don't understand what you're saying about text bubbles, but I would quit the editor, then restart it while holding down Command+shift+Option. Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.
AFAICR, for PSE 9 it was always necessary to to updates manually, not ever from the help menu. You can find all available updates for PSE 9/mac here:

N73 with wi-fi? I wish. Please make a N73i with WI...

I really like the N73 and i was considering buying it as my next phone however the lack of wi-fi put me off. If only this phone had wifi it would be even more of an amazing phone and i bet it would increase sales. Especially if bundled with software such as a VOIP app. Anyone at nokia think this is a good idea?

The dreadful build quality, cheap creaky plastics and bad joystick put me off! The N73 is a lower range N Series, Nokia are presently keeping WiFi for the higher models such as N80 and the soon to be released N95. If the N73 had every feature, nobody would buy the other phones! Nokia want to make certain phones have certain features. The N73 was designed as an affordable smartphone with primarily camera-based features. The selling point of the N73 is the camera. You also get a great web browser and series 60 3rd gen Symbian o/s. If you want Wifi buy the N80 or wait for the N95.

Apple or 3rd Party: PLEASE make a dock with the remote port!

Sure there was no room for the remote port on the bottom, but you could make a dock, just like the lanyard headphone dock, that includes the headphone miniplug and the remote plug, just like on all the docking iPods...
THEN, we could use our iTrip FM transmitters (or any one of them that use the iPod's power), that ever-so-cool Logitech Bluetooth headphone set, various wireless remote controls -- even Apple's own wired-remote control... the list goes on and on.... even that crazy iPod laser pointer...
