Firefox opens with "Unable to Connect. Uncheck 'Work Offline ' in the File Menu and click 'Try Again', but 'Work Offline' is not checked.
I have Firefox 3.6.13 on Mac OS 10.4.11 with MyEbay set as my Home page but FireFox always gives the above message and invites me to 'Try Again'. When I click on 'Try Again' it takes me to the eBay sign in widow like it is supposed to. Firefox works properly for a few times after each update but eventually goes back to the "Unable to Connect" message. How can I fix Firefox to go to my Homepage?
Yes, I am using Firefox 3.6.16--but I also occasionaly use Mail and have Microsoft Enterouge, loaded also.
But I always open with Firefox.

I've just installed Firefox on my laptop and keep getting the message, "Windows cannot find 'c:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." I get this message whenever I either try to open it from the Start menu or from the desktop icon. Are you installing from the official site? http://www.mozilla.com/firefox
If you use Windows Explorer (My Computer) to check that path, is the Mozilla Firefox folder there? That is the normal installation location, but I think it's worth checking.
If the folder isn't there or firefox.exe is not in it, I wonder whether some other software might be interfering. You might want to run some supplemental security scans. These two tools are highly regarded:

Getting error -1202 when trying to connect to 'My Wish List" in ITurnes. Says there was an error in the ITunes store and to try again later. Have no other problems connecting or purchasing......

Hello. I am running Photoshop CC 2014 on a MAC with OSX LION. I also have Photoshop CS6 installed. When I double-click on a file in Bridge CC, it always opens in CS6. If I say "OPEN WITH Photoshop CC 2014", or if I drag the file directly to CC 2014 in the Dock it will open in CC. Since I like to double-click or hit return in the bridge, I am constantly having to wait until the file opens in CS6, quit CS6 an then open it another way to get it into Photoshop CC 2014. I tried to disable CS6 by hiding it, but then double-clicking Bridge did nothing. Any ideas why this is happening?
Check and adjust the File Type Associations in the bridge cc preferences.

Every time I open a New File from the File Menu and I open it all of my desktop items are in it. What's up with that?
This is configured in Finder preferences under the General icon. You can make some changes to that behavior.

To run iTunes in 64-bit mode, select the iTunes application in the Finder, choose the “Get Info” command in the File menu, and uncheck the “Open in 32-bit mode” checkbox in the iTunes Info window. but i doesn't have the tick thing plus i redownloaded it again and same message comes up
Have you disclosed the "General" brick in the "Info" panel? Click the disclosure triangle to the left of "General":

As it happens, a connection to the Time Capsule is established usually, anyway. On occasion it doesn't.
I have a Volume, Data, on the capsule, which similarly, usually mounts, but occassionally doesn't, with access permissions denied.
Any suggestions on how begin to work out how to achieve networking seamlesness?First, restart the Time Capsule by disconnecting the power adapter and reconnecting it. If other devices on the network can see it, you can skip this step.
From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
Click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the window and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. Click the Advanced button, then select the TCP/IP tab in the sheet that drops down. Click Renew DHCP lease.
Try again to back up.
If you still can't, open the Time Machine preference pane and delete the TC from the list of backup destinations. You may have to unlock the settings by clicking the lock icon in order to do this. Then add it back. -
Sometimes I cannot bring up iTunes when I click on the icon. Have even gone to the START Menu and clicked on that icon but it still wont work. The only way I can fix it.....sometimes.....is if I reboot. Please help me 8-) Thanks

Corporate issued iphone 4S. Trying to update to ios 7. I tunes not recongnising the phone, and I get this message:
"itunes unable to load data class information from Sync Services. Reconnect ot try again later."
I have disconnected from itunes several times. The phone is dead, as if it was brand new.

Go to the '''Help''' menu, go to "'''Troubleshooting Information'''"
On the new window, click "'''Open Containing folder'''" next to ''Profile Directory'' (This opens the folder on your PC where Mozilla stores some settings, like a tab history)
In the new Windows Explorer window, Find the file "'''chromeappsstore.sqlite'''"
You'll want to close Firefox and then '''delete''' that file (don't worry, Firefox will create a new one, and you won't even lose the open tabs)
Start Firefox again and the button should work!
(For completeness's sake, the profile folder for windows7 is: C:\Users\Tiberion\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\c6xu23fh.default\
where you replace Tiberion with your own username, and the random characters in the final folder will be different.) -

I am a regular patient at a local hospital that provides free internet access to patients AFTER they accept terms and conditions. I have had no problems until recently when instead of redirecting to the systems acceptance page, I started getting a message that I was not conected to thye internet.
This began about 4 weeks ago and continues. I do not have redirect blocked and have tried Safari, Firefox and Google Chrome to no avail. Please give me some ideas.

JimContact the hospital IT staff and ask them if they are using ActiveX. If they are, that's not 100% accessible and against section 508 accessibility guidelines. They should use http://www.anybrowser.org/ as a guide for a platform agnostic website.

They are telling you what the problem is; your payment method has been declined. They will not tell you specifically what apps you still owe for, but that's rather irrelevant.
If I went to my bank would thy be able to tell me what's wrong or will I need to contact Apple?
It depends on what the problem is. First, make sure that you're using one of the accepted cards. If you're sure you are, then I again would suggest you contact your credit card company, tell them that an on-line merchant is declining your card, and ask for assistance. If the credit card company can't or won't help, you can try contacting the iTunes Store, but my guess is that they'll tell you the same thing I'm telling you; contact your credit card company or try a different card.
