Firefox Picks the country automatically of my proxy server

I have to use a proxy server of germany.
Now once i switch on this proxy all the websites for example Google, nadroid market etc take the country automatically as DE.
Hence i face the translation issues.
How can I resolve this. Please help

Google is doing that. It uses the IP that you're connecting from to determine where you are. Depending on the Google service you're trying to correct, you need to contact them to fix.

How do I start firefox from the terminal, using a specific proxy configuration, without creating a whole new profile?

When I use Firefox at work I must use a proxy, however when at home I want to connect with no proxy. I'd like to have two launchers for Firefox, one for work and one for home. To do this I need to configure Firefox from the terminal.
After searching on the internet the only solution I could find was to launch Firefox with two different profiles, one for work using the proxy, and another for home. However if I do this, my bookmarks and saved passwords will not the same for both profiles.

Right click on the desktop and choose 'Create Launcher'. There enter the details so start the program directly not via a script. This did the trick for me for another program.

Goto OKKN,check for the costing variant under quantity structure control tab,whether the routing selection ID is assigned properly.
Say if selection ID is 01 and the first priority is for N task list type(that's normal routing),then the system will pick it automatically.
Likewise if it fails to find N,then it searches for the second priority given in the same selection ID.
This is how it picks for costing in CK11N,Also check the routing status in CA03,under header whether it's 4 - released and usage
is for 1 production.

App Store changing the country automatically

Hi,
In my house there are 4 iPhone 5 devices, all of them were bought from Apple online store in the U.K.
We are having problems with the App Store, It's automatically switching to the U.K. store and somtimes to the French store, and we see the prices of all apps in GBP not in the U.S. Dollars when it changes to the U.K. store,and in euros when it changes to the French store,
while all of our App Store accounts are registered in the Kuwait App Store.
It doesn't allow us to update any app, or to download any free or paied apps when it swithes !!
Each time it switches, we have to sign out from:
Settings >> iTunes & App Store.
And then sign in again.
And sometimes the previous method doesn't work ! So I have to do it twice or more !
I'm also having this problem with an iPhone 4S and an iPad 2 (Both running iOS 6) !!
Is there any way to stop it from switching ?
Another problem is that my App Store in my iPad 2 switches from iPad App Store to iPhone App Store, and so happens with the App Store on the iPhone.

had problems last night macafee said something was trying to download on my computer did i want t allow it i said no then everything froze up for a few minutes when everything was closed and i try to restart firefox i got the message proxy server refusing to connect i tried toturn of and turn back on my computer but still got the same message tried to restore system but only date i was given was 7-7-2010 so that did not help don't know what to do to fix problem

Anyone know how to get the cloud activated from behind a firewall / proxy server?

My Adobe Application Manager connects, updates and downloads all applications.
However, when I open an application, it does not detect a connection to the internet and states that an "Internet connection is required for subscriptions."
So what is it that I have to do to get this to work? Many people are having this issue, do a google search on this and you will not find a solution. We need one from Adobe.

Firefox(20.0.1) is ignoring my proxy server for google searches from website and the search box. It works for all other search engines and chrome/safari.

squid (port 3128) and dansguardian (port 8080) not running in transparent mode.
I am applying blacklists and a custom url regex to apply "safe=vss", this works for all browsers and all search engines except firefox using google search engine.
Search engines tested (bing, yahoo, norton, ask, amazon, avg, ebay) - all work.
Links from the search results are blocked by content filter, but search results still appear and google images are still shown. This does not happen in Chrome(23.0.1271.97), IE9(9.0.8), Opera(12.14) or Safari(5.1.7) with the same settings.
No log entry appears in Dansguardian access.log implying proxy settings are being ignored for just this combination.

I can't think of a reason that one particular webpage would behave differently from all the others, i.e., if you are starting at google.com and running a search using the form in the page, I'm not aware of any reason for Firefox to handle that specially just because it's Google.
Does it make a difference if you disable JavaScript when using Google? If that yields the results you expect, perhaps Google's XMLHttpRequest AJAX traffic is bypassing your filters?
The search bar has its own code, so someone would need to look at that to see whether/why it bypasses your proxy if the above hypothesis does not apply.

Why, upon launching Firefox, does the page automatically go down to the bottom requiring me to scroll upwards? It never did this before.

I can't explain this any more clearly. The opening page, after about a second or two, scrolls down to the bottom of the page. I can't see the upper end, where most of my tabs are. I have to begin each session by scrolling upwards.

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes.
If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

Loaded up version 5.0. When I did so, suddenly cannot access any of my favorites as Firefox says it is looking for a "proxy server."

Tried to load up Firefox version 5.0 on Saturday due to your lack of firewall support of Version 3.6 which led to a virus in my system that I was able to resolve out of the system once I went to "Safe Mode" and restored to previous date. In loading up your latest version, when I went into my Firefox Internet browser and tried to call up my Favorites, received message that Firefox was looking for a "proxy carrier" and I was unable to access any of my folders.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

Old Mac, Out of the country, Can't connect to server

Hello all,
I have an old Macbook from 2008. It runs MAC OS X 10.5.8, and when I try to install a software update, it tells me that I am currently up to date (which is, obviously, not true).
Before anyone rolls their eyes, yes; I realize that my computer is very old, and that that is most likely the root of the problem I am about to relate, but if it's all the same, I'd still like to see if there is anything I can do to save it before I go out and buy a new computer.
The problem is that I need to connect to the company server, and my Macbook does not recognize it. It's not that it doesn't have Internet connection; on the contrary, it's hooked up to the company's ethernet, it accesses the Internet just fine, and it even recognizes one server: a Mac. That is, it can see the shared drives of other Macs, but it cannot see the shared drives of any other computers.
One other condition for my computer that I should mention is that I am currently in Spain!
What I would like to know is the following: 1. Can my computer find these servers? Is it capable? Is there something I need to do? Is it a lost cause? If so, 2. Is it a product of being in Spain, a temporary arrangement, or 3. Is my Macbook a hopeless case?

Your computer is called an iMac.
Did you turn proxies on? If so, you should turn them off.
