Hello and Thank You for your help!, I recently uninstalled malware from my computer. Since then I cannot open my gmail account and retrieve my email. ail.

I removed the ASK tool bars from my computer and since then I keep being told the cookies is either enabled or disabled. I refreshed Firefox and that solved nothing it just erased somethings that I setup on my desktop. I'm not dump but I'm not that well versed in resolving this issue and I don't want to make matters worse.......please help! And thank you so much! One more thing......I can still retrieve my email using Explorer but chose not to because of the lack of support for XP which is what I have. Again Thank You

Good afternoon and thank you John99!... for the reply and advice to my problem the other day. To give some insite to the issue I presented...the ASK toolbar was somehow downloaded onto my laptop and I not knowing that it was as malware and dangerous to my computer at first I left there. I did not like the fact that it was there and how it seemed to take over my setup. Well I looked into it which was fairly easy and found out what I did about Mindspark...not good! I also discovered while trying to solve the problem after receiving you responseto this problem that JAVA ORACLE can carry the Ask toolbar thru their updates. When OKed an update I found it wanting to add the ASK toolbar. I know that in the past I have not allowed other things that carry the ASK toolbar to download this because I liked what I had already setup. Well some where along the way it got downloaded. Anyway...I tried what you had suggested and nothing has changed. I receive email's thru Exployer and bring up my desktop to get onto Mozilla. This is not working!!! I just want to get onto Firefox, click into gmail and anything else I want and use it!..I can assure you that the one thing I cannot do is get into my gmail. It wants to tell my about my cookies...I have pressed all the right buttons and this is not solving anything at all. I was wandering that if I remove Firefox and download it again will this solve the problem. And will I be able to use all the same information or will I find it telling me that someone else already has that email, password, name, etc. because it did not clear everything when I removed Firefox from my computer? Thank you so much for the response. This half sorts out my issue, as turning off Musicmatch means I can load music onto my iPad, but the minute I turn it back on to access my library whilst travelling I will lose what I have loaded as it comes up saying " all music will be erased".
I really apprecaite your time, so will just have to live with what I load. Seems weird that Apple wouldn't consider people want to listen to music on planes or in Non - wifi zones??

Sharepoint will use your network username or password if it is setup that way, but I'm not talking talking about that. I am talking about permissions to be able to write to the document, you might only have read rights and not write.

I have followed the steps under security within Firefox to remove a saved password, but it hasn't actually removed it. I removed it and then tried to sign on again and it automatically went to the saved password. This URL uses an admin and a general password and I accidentally saved the general password so unable to open as an admin. When I go to the URL to enter my admin password it goes to the saved general password. As administrator for my church website, I can't get into it and make changes without using my admin password.

Firefox could once pretend it was another make of browser eg. Internet Explorer. Is this facility still available? Thank you for your help.

Some organisations claim not to support Firefox, only IE. I had this problem some time ago and Firefox at that time had a feature that on log on to such a site could pretend to be another make of browser. Is this feature still avaiable? Your guesses on current browser and OS are correct. I am running Linux Mint 12.

I can’t afford to buy Photoshop just to construct two special capital letters. Actually, when Adobe moved from Type 1 fonts to OpenType CFF fonts, all the so-called “expert typefaces” were consolidated into the base fonts. In other words Adobe Garamond Pro Regular not only has the Western Latin characters of the original Type 1 version of Adobe Garamond, but also has alternate Latin capitals (with titling, titling floating accents, and stylistic alternates), alternate Latin lowercase (swash and superiors), Latin small capitals (alphabetic and floating accents), ligatures, multiple numeric forms (including lining tabular, lining proportional, oldstyle tabular, oldstyle proportional, superscripts, scientific inferior, numerator, denominator forms, fractions, mathematical operators, etc.) plus a raft of other special symbols.
OpenType fonts are Unicode-based and allow for more than the 256 characters in Type 1 fonts which required multiple typefaces all with mappings to a standard keyboard to accommodate all these glyphs.
Thus, hopefully your disappointment will turn to joy.

After I downloaded the most recent versions of itunes and quicktime I cannot play any videos, tutorials. Thank you for any help.

Videos will not play after downloading the mmost recent versions of Itunes and Quicktime. What can I do? The video tries to start but freezes and does not respond.

I tried putting quicktime in "safe mode", but that also did not solve the video-play problem.
However, I downloaded a video and that video does play.
A video may start but quickly freezes.
In itunes is the player "quicktime or itunes"?
When I open the quicktime player(its appearance doesn't look like a player with controls for play, pause, etc.).
Maybe the controls appear when play begins' however, then I try to open any song of video, I always get the same message: "Do you want to allow this website to open a program on your computer(in itunes, I assume).)
If i choose "yes" I get an error message.
I thought this additional information might be helpful, but you can just answer the original question if you have some additional ideas.
