I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.

Making Firefox the default simply tells Windows that you want to use Firefox to open anything on the internet. You are still able to access other browsers, it just uses Firefox to open stuff like links in emails, docs, etc. instead of Internet Explorer.
It is really a personal choice, if you want to use Firefox the majority of the time, I'd set it as default, it just makes thinks easier.

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)

Photobucket site and other sites cause Firefox v19 to "freeze" and crash. All the time. Photobucket causes Firefox v19, to slow, then crash.

If you view photos for an extended time, or open a few tabs, Photobucket will cause Firefox to slow down, eventually freeze, then crash. This only started occurring when I updated to Firefox v19.0. This freezing and blanking out of the entire screen image of Firefox will occur when another program, such as Windows mail, is loading at the same time. It also is occurring at random times for no reason. I've never experienced a problem such as this with Firefox or Mozilla, ever. Nothing is preventing this from happening. I have Vista Home Premium, SP2. Dell Inspiron 530s.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove your Photobucket cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

I am not having any issues with Google. Try another search engine to see if the same issue occurrs.

How do I get rid of blurred text happens all the time now in Firefox web browser?

Even when I was registering for this forum the text was blurred and multicolored sometimes. Its very annoying and hard to see. This is all the time with Firexfox. Chrome and IE I have no such issues.
Also when I was taking an assessment test for a job application none of the answers took and I was told by the program that it was probably my browser. I used to use IE and never had any of these issues but changed to Firefox as I was informed that the security was better. All these issues have been frustrating to say the least.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

An alternative approach is to keep Firefox 4 and install the portable version of Firefox 3.6 on your hard drive. I was able to do what you suggested, and the time listed in the code field was correct. However, when I sent a test email to myself on the bigpond site, it said it was received at 8:04am when it was actually 18:04. So there is an error of more than half a day. By default, Flash 11.3 and higher will spin up a lot of distinct processes. You should be able to get quite a cacophony going.
Have you ever done any troubleshooting that involves changing how Firefox works with plugin-container.exe or the Flash player's protected mode?
Often it is helpful to disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash:
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Unrelated, but you can remove the Java Console extensions unless you are a Java developer (and even then, you probably don't need the old ones):
