Firefox reports my home page (my.yahoo) is blacklisted and will not display it.

I can not view my home page (my.yahoo.com) because it apparently has been blacklisted. This can't be right, how do I fix that?

Additional Info: Error message says:
This website, or elements thereof, are on the BlockList blacklist (or not on the whitelist) and have not been loaded.

It appears the offending software is BrowserProtector - but I removed this from my computer and can find no links in the Registry. How to I restart?

That message originates from the printer, not the Mac. Get in touch with HP, perhaps they have an explanation.

I'd recommend you delete the URL to your homepage which is causing the problem via Tools | Options | General and then go to the MSN homepage again and click the button "Use Current Page".
MSN may have changed the coding in the URL which is causing Firefox to load an outdated page with your current settings.

Slideshow on home page in my new web site will not work in Firefox on my machine but works in Safari and on external machines.

The slideshow starts automatically on wife's machine and mine with Safari but not Firefox (don't know about other machines with Firefox)

My MSN home page has been showing Sunday the 27th March and still is today, Friday 1st April, I have tried closing the program refreshing the page , but all to no avail, it works fine if I use IE, but my preference is Mozilla

Make sure that you do not use a link that has specific GET data appended (?xxx=xxx)
You can also try to clear the MSN cookies. You can click the websites favicon at the left end of the location bar and click More Information to display the Security tab that has a button to view the cookies.

Firefox is disabling all plugins (including flash) by default and will not let me enable them

I am using Firefox 23 (updated) and the latest flash plugin from Adobe's website. I am trying to access any pages with flash on them, and it says the flash plugin is disabled. When I pull up the plugins page, it says all of my plugins are disabled. If I click on them, I do not get a "Enable" button. I only have a "Remove" button. If I click on "More" and select "Always Activate" at the bottom and then restart the browser, the plugins are still disabled.
I deleted my addons.sqlite & pluginreg.dat as well (per another suggestion on the forum) and restarted -- there is no change.
I am so frustrated. I have used firefox for years, and I have never had the problems I have had with plugins and flash before this year. I am on the verge of going full-time to Chrome (which is NOT having these problems.). Please help me!

hello jesabele, if you have a "remove" button next to plugins something fundamentally is wrong (since plugins cannot be removed in firefox, because they are installed on a system level). please try to [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems|reset firefox]] and see if this can address the issue...

Have you tried :
- closing the Mail app via the multitasking bar and seeing if it works properly when you re-open the app : double-click the home button to open the iPad's multitasking bar and on that swipe or drag the Mail app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
- soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

On update to 4.0 Firefox locked up while checking for compatability of applications and will not load.

I have HP a6620f, Vista, 64 bit, 2.5 GHz 4.0 GB RAM. Firefox worked great until I upgraded to 4.0 when it locked up while checking for compatability of applications. I have the desktop ikon but firefox will not come up. Task manager shows firefox.exe using 50% of CPU when terying to come up.

I've since updated manually to 4.0.1, but haven't yet tried the full uninstall version, because I have to export plenty of settings first (and/or manually copy them). Also means I'd have to start from scratch with many customizations in No Script.
That said, I'll try the 'Safe Mode' option tonight, thank you :-)!
If I have to uninstall the whole shebang, I'd be more tempted to go back to 3.6.x until a few more of 4's teething problems (e.g. the messy print dialogues, particularly preview, which regularly doesn't even work) have been tackled.

Firefox won't open until I restart my computer, and will not open links once it is open.

When I click the icon to open Firefox, it shows the little loading circle for a second or two, but then does nothing. Other browsers work fine on my computer, but when this happens I have to restart my computer and then it will open until the next time I log in to my computer. Also, when Firefox does finally open, it won't allow me to click on certain links within a website. It shows the hand cursor over the link, but when you click on it nothing happens and it will not open. I have tried doing a system restore, uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, all kinds of troubleshooting, and still nothing has worked. I love Firefox, but if this keeps happening I will have to stop using it altogether.

When you uninstall firefox, do you go to the control panel and in C:/ProgramFiles/(delete mozilla firefox)? Or only one of the two options?Try.

After clicking on hyperlinks on the home pages of Yahoo, NY Times, and other websites, the browser will not go back to a page before the current one either by clicking on the go back icon or via the backspace.

2.How to set a condition for computation#2 that it should only fire if F119_THIS_PAGE_ID <> :APP_PAGE_ID. I tried expression 1 <> expression 2, current page <> expression 1 but nothing seems to be working
Condition type: PL/SQL Expression as shown above should work.
3. Lastly, is this the best or the only way of doing something like this, any suggestions ?
Looks ok to me. Sometimes javascript:window.history.go(-1) can be useful.

The Google sign-in page appears garbled and will not display. I have tried clearing cookies, the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling flash...

and uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, all to no avail. I have included a screenshot of the issue. Thank you for your help!

You can check the network.http.* prefs on the about:config page and reset all bold user set network.http prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu -> Reset.
Check at least:
* network.http.accept-encoding: gzip,deflate
If you do not keep changes after a restart then see:

My pages has suddenly become unresponsive and will not open

Hi.
When I click on pages it does nothing. When i try to open a document via an email it shows a tiny little blank page in the middle of the screen , which looks like it is opening but then just goes away again. I have tried shutting down and turning off with no success. Any help ???? Please .

Firefox will not open Gmail, or load all the data on the google tab and will not load Outlook lite on a webpage correctly.

In the last couple of days when I start Firefox it will not properly load the Google home page I set up. It will not load the calendar or Date and Time. When I try to open gmail it will not open. I use Internet mail using outlook lite and it does not open properly formatted. All of these problems did not exist until two days ago. I have even gone back and did a system restore 8 days ago to see if that would correct the problem.

Since a few days we have a lot of crashes with [http://www.trusteer.com/product/trusteer-rapport Trusteer Rapport]. If you have this program, try to disable it and see if that stops the crashing. 
You can stop Rapport using Start Menu > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Stop Rapport 
You can ask their helpdesk when an updated version of their product will be made available or, if you don't need this software, uninstall it.

If you do not have Rapport, then we need to have a crash report ID. When you send Mozilla a crash report it just puts it in a giant database. We have no way of looking it up without the Report ID. I have no idea what is wrong without looking up the crash report. Please get the Report ID of your latest crash report.
