Firefox says it can't load config info ?
Firefox informed me I had an old version and recommended I install the new one 3.6.15, I did this but when I tried to run it, it says 'can't load config info'. so now I can't use firefox ??
Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
You may need or want to create a new profile to remove all remnants from that old Firefox 3.0.19 version and start with fresh files.

firefox says it can't establish a connection with any website I try. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and get the same message .tryed running it with the addons diabled that didn't work. so I uninstalled it again this time uninstalling all the settings and addons too. reinstalled it and got the same message.

Firefox says it is "done" loading but all i see is a white screen
any page i try to load it says it is "done" loading but the screen is blank. it isn't a specific page but any one that i try.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

It's on an Acer netbook, running XP; after Outlook Express 'was unable to open' it's 'message store. Your computer may be out of memory or your disc is full.' (Neither of those is anywhere near being the case!) Sent it's error report to MS but no reply to that, yet.

Firefox says it can not find the server (Windows Internet Exployer works fine
When I try to connect to Firefox,I get the message can not find server.(All my hardwired computers,to Dsl).When we try Windows Internet Exployer it works fine.That is what I am using to send this message.

When you say it works okay on new browser do you mean IE or do you mean if you reinstall Firefox. As far as I know it is the Firefox updates that get are mostly affected. What Firewall do you have.

My grandson banged on keyboard while Firefox was loaded. Suspect that had something to do with problem.

For the past few days I have tried to get onto mozilla and I can't. It says to check network, nothing is wrong with my network. I am able to use internet explorer. I have tried uninstalling it adn i have tried everything on your website. I dont' think mozilla is too busy and I keep checking the firewall

Where can i load classpath info in oc4j parent application?
i want to load classpaths at the very container level of the OC4j instances..
so that all the web applicatins can access them..
in one of the orion-web.xml files i have

<classpath path="file:/C:/m2mi/conf/" />
what file at the root level can i modify to make OC4J container itself load these classpaths?

TIAYou mean you want OC4J to have a set of classes that it makes available to all applications?
The easiest way to do this is to put the JAR files into the j2ee/home/applib directory. The contents of this directory are mapped to a shared-library (global.libraries) and imported into the root level application (system) and thus are visible to any deployed application.

Read FAQ's but did not see how I was to proceed to restore the data in the Old FireFox Data folder on my desktop. It should hold all of my bookmarks, passwords and other data that I would like to recover into this new install of FireFox.

Like moving your catalog to an internal hard disk to see if you can open it there?
Maybe try moving it to a different external drive (even a thumb drive) and see what happens..
I mean, lotsa people open catalogs on removable storage with Lr5.6, so you might have to try stuff to shake it out..

I successfully downloaded 3 movies (rentals). When we tried to play them today on our 6 hour road trip, the iPad says it can't load the movies!! Help!
I tried connecting my iPad to iTunes and clicking on the Movies tab. Then, I deleted the rental from iPad and recopied it back onto my iPad. It worked fine afterwords.

I just got Logic and Mainstage and installed them on my MacBook. Loading up Logic works fine but when Mainstage loaded it picked up the Halion Orchestral plugin (Cubase 5 is also installed on the MacBook) and as I didn't have the copy protection dongle in at the time it came up with an error message. I cancelled the dongle error and Mainstage loaded up regardless - but I can't do anything. If I go to File > New, absolutely nothing happens and I don't have any files to load up.
Does anyone have any idea why it would do it and what to do to sort it out? Is a reinstall necessary?

RichYes, you should get a window offering a choice of templates to load.
From what you say, you can't load a template from the menu bar either. I take it that you have tried plugging in the dongle & restarting MainStage.
If that is the case, it sounds as though a re-install is called for.
Before doing that, you could try repairing permissions; that often cures irritating problems like this.
The other thing you could try is to remove the MainStage plist & try running MainStage again. If neither of these options work, then re-install.

Can't load Netflix - Firefox says something about cookie problem and recommends try again button. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.)" Hit the try again button repeated ly - nothing???
I decided to give Netflix a call about this problem.
On a recording while waiting for a support rep, it said if you're having problems logging in to go to:
http://www.netflix.com/clearcookies
It works for me. Now I have to logon everytime I go to their site though versus it had kept me already logged in before this problem.
I will be using that link to get to their site until they get it fixed. -
My sister has given me an old iPod touch 2 I think it is and after resetting the account info to mine the content was wiped and can not load any games now as it runs 3.1.3 and there all saying they need iOS 5 how can I update it to this
I suspect you have the original, 1G iPod touch. Those can only go as high as iOS 3.1.3,
If y ohave a 2G those can go as high as 4.2.1
