Firefox says Java needs to be updated, Java says I have the latest update, what is wrong?
I had disabled Java because of the vulnerabilities mentioned earlier in the year.
Today I downloaded and installed the latest version according to Java SE7 U9. Firefox tells me this is an outdated version when I click to check plugins are up to date. When I click on update the Java.com site tells me my Java is up to date and offers no update.
Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.90.5 is also deemed outdated by Firefox but Java offers no update.
What is going on? I have Windows 7 X64 Firefox is X32. Please help.

Docs say they need a 'newer version' even though I have the latest Pages 5 release?
I have several documents that I created in the latest version of Pages 5 (version 5.0 (1465)). Last week, they were all working fine in Pages 5 and were saved to that format. Now, when I go to open any of the documents, I get an alert message that the document can't be opened because I need a "newer version" of Pages to access them. I have gone to the App Store to check for updates; I'm at the latest release.
Just for fun, I tried opening in iOS versions (no success) and even opening in copies of the old Pages '09 apps. Nothing works now. I'm also sure it's not a corrupt file issue, since this is occurring today on multiple Pages files.
What happened, and how can I get my documents to open again? I spent a lot of time getting these docs perfect, and I am desparate not to start over from scratch.

PS: This problem is occurring even after I deleted all old iWork / Pages apps from the disk, so that's not the problem. I had seen that as a recommendation for previous upgrade cycles.Please clarify....

Bridge 5.0.2.4 with camera RAW 8.4.0.199 ON a MAC 10.10.1. Trying to update to camera RAW 8.7 to get my canon 7dMK2 raw files to work. But the updater say I have the latest update! Witch I clearly don't have . And my Photoshop have to different camera RAW plug-ins. The old 8.4 and the new 8.7. But it doesn't work. Have removed and reinstalled several times. What is going on? Why can't I update bridge to the latest version 8.7 or read my raw files from the Canon 7dmk2?

I would like to get the downloads tab to go back to the way it was, before this most recent update. Now that I have the latest update of Firefox, it moved over to the right. The little hand won't budge it. And the download interface is different, now it is under something called 'library', I liked the old way much better - any way to restore it to that?

Is this the pop-up that you see when finishing a download or do you mean the pop-up you see if you hover a link?
When a download is in progress then you see a download progress bar on the Navigation Toolbar instead of the Download Manager button and that button is highlighted once the download has finished to make you aware the their are new downloads.
You can view the new Download Manager in a tab by opening the about:downloads page and consider to open this page in a separate window. -
I just downloaded iOS 6 because I hadn't downloaded that one yet then once that is downloaded i tried to download iOS 7 but my settings keeps saying that I already hav the latest update but my update is only iOS 6 not 7 so I was wandering how to get iOS 7 to download onto my iPod

Usual way of software update does not help.
Keeps saying you have the latest update .To get beyond 10.7.5, you must go to the App Store and purchase an upgrade.

The videos do not play except on YouTube. It shows an error message that it can't play the video. I have the latest updated Adobe Flash player. And the same videos work well on IE and GC !

Why does it say "unsupported language/platform" when I try to download Acrobat Standard? I have the latest updates of IE and Google Chrome and have tired both.
The message doesn't mention IE or Chrome - it mentions language/platform.
So...what is the language of your system?
And what is your platform - by which we mean for example Windows Vista or Mac OS Lion. -

Seems, iTunes can't read your backup anymore. Copy the backup folder to a safe place before you delete the latest backup from the list in iTunes/Preferences/Devices
The folder where your backup data is stored changes depending on the computer's operating system. Since iTunes only keeps one backup per device, you should ensure the backup folder is included in your periodic data backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: If you do not see the AppData or Application Data folders, you may need to show hidden files (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7), or iTunes may not be installed in the default location. Show hidden files and then search the hard drive for the Backup directory.

After you deleted the backup from the list, try again to sync. -
I lost my play list, when trying to use Home Sharing, So I turned Home Sharing off and sync over WI-Fi off, and tried to sync my original play lists back. That did not work. So I decided to do a restore (I need to clean up anyway) I have the latest update for my iPad, but iTunes keeps trying to update my iPad and its taking up to 20 hours to do it, then it fails. This is very irritating seeing as I work with these products everyday as I am IT support for my company. I have tried different cables both USB and Ethernet and WI-Fi. I have tried each one of my computers that are authorized; laptop, mac book pro, and my PC. Please give me a solution.

Environment: Outlook 2013/Adobe Acrobat XI (both have the latest updates)/Windows 7 x64 SP1 (latest updates)
Every time I close Outlook 2013, the Adobe Acrobat addin disappears. When I open Outlook,I have to enable the add-in again.
I have tried the following:
-Repairing Acrobat
-Repairing Office
-Setting the registry setting for the Acrobat addin loadbehavior to "3" (persistent)
None of the following has worked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thank you for posting on the Adobe forums, kindly try the steps mentioned below, hope it helps.
1) Open Acrobat>edit >preferences
2) Go to General under categories menu and uncheck the box that says"Check 2D graphic accelerator"
3) Also, siwtch off the Protected View under "Enhanced Security"
Additionally you can try repairing Acrobat from Help>repair Acrobat installation.

When I try to install Lion it tell's me "You can't use this version of the application install mac os x Lion with this version of Mac os X" even though I have the latest update 10.5.8 of Mac os X?

You can't install Lion over Leopard. To install Lion, a requirement is Snow Leopard. So you can either upgrade to Snow Leopard first or you can make a bootable Lion install disc and use that to wipe your hard drive and install a fresh copy of Lion.
So to make a disk would require you to purchase Snow Leopard and upgrade to 10.6.8 so you can use the App Store, unless you have access to another computer to download it from with your Apple ID. Remember it is about a 3.4GB download.
