Firefox scroll-down button out of view

Good evening,
I've been so used to using my trackpad to scroll down when i'm on the internet that today when I looked at the bottom right corner of my browser, I was surprised to find that my scroll-down button was missing. I don't think it's really missing, it seems to be that the resize button below the scroll buttons seems to be covering the scroll-down button, that I can't click it.
Can I somehow move the scroll buttons up or something? I can't seem to get the resize button out of the way.
MacBook Pro Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Check your permissions using disk utility but i think re-installing firefox will be the best fix, that or locate and trash the firefox preference files.

Hi ACI wonder if you can share any responses on to your question above?I too have never used a script but, I have the same problems as you in regards to building a form. And wants to have the same 'protection' and message reminders for the end users. Any information, including a script and/or a contact email of experts you can share with me will help tremendously. My firefox browser window will not stay in full screen mode, it keeps reducing itself so I can't use the scroll down button on the side, so I have to constantly minimize and maximize to get to the scroll bar, How can I stop this?

Like I said it happens every few minutes... It is annoying when you are on the internet for more than a few minutes because you constantly have to either minimize it or reduce the screen manually by hitting the button and then maximize it again to get the scroll bar to be in view to use it.

Delete the localstore.rdf file at the following location:

I did this and it fixed it for several days, but it broke again eventually.

i updated to ff5, lost my google toolbar, followed directions to download that 'reporter" thing. i then went & forced the toolbar to work, as directed, and did a dumb thing & told ff it was "fine now." well, sometime yesterday afternoon an evil thing occurred, and now i've lost google toolbar, tool icon AND the green drop down firefox menu. help? the current tab page now fills my monitor screen. i have to navigate waaaay up above it to get the address bar, back button, minimize, maximize & close button...and that's it folks! i have nothing else.

yes, firefox will automatically update regularly - though you could disable that in the [[Advanced settings for accessibility, browsing, system defaults, network, updates, and encryption]], i would strongly discourage you from doing so since updates generally also contain [https://www.mozilla.org/security/known-vulnerabilities/firefox.html critical security fixes] & the integrity of your system and your personal data on it would be at risk otherwise.

Table Scroll down using a button

Can some expert Webdynpro consultant try out this weird requirement and give me the solution. ( Its for an app to be used on Mobile which is why asking for it. Its working fine on computers/Laptops)
Create a table and bind it with a child node and fill it with data so that it has many rows.. Now for scrolloing down, instead of using the scroll down button provided by the table element, create a new button which will perform the same functionality of scrolling down.
I have found the class which has the method which perform this functionality but am not able to use it properly.
The class is CL_WDR_P13N_DT and the method is AGGR_MOVE_DOWN.
I have tried MOVE_ELEMENT and all move related methods of if_wd_context_node, these methods just change the index position, they dont move the table contents down. So pls dont waste your time on that.
I have used this code:
DATA: lo_nd_resb_tab TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node,
          vn type ref to CL_WDR_P13N_DT.
lo_nd_resb_tab = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'EKKO_TAB' ).
create object vn.

Missing Scroll Down Bar

I have a single page project that I have unticked all the Toolbar Button options (via Webhelp) and now I can no longer scroll down the screen. If I enable the Toolbar Buttons\Content option I get the scrollbar back along with the unwanted lefthand side Contents column. Is there a way to have the scroll down with out Toolbar Button options??

Sometimes you can't see the forrest for all the trees.
I was loading the project file which in turn loaded the file I wanted to display.
The solution was to just load the file I wanted to display and presto all is good.

How do I get out of "full screen" view. When I put my crusor at the top of the screen I get SOME menus showing, but nothe the "firefox" drop-down where I selected full screed (I was just trying to zoom out, actually)

I think the question pretty well summed it up. I selected full screen mode from the "firefox" drop-down box at the top left, but once in full screen mode, the drop-down box is not available. How do I get back to the standard view??

Press the F11 key to toggle into and out of full screen mode.
Or, move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen and right-click the "+" (new tab) button, or in a blank area of the tab bar, or in a blank area after the address box, and exit full screen mode from the context menu.

The "This connection is untrusted" screen pos up, and and when I press "I understand" no "add exception button appears. I think that the button's underneath some text; but firefox won't let me scroll down.

It displays the following after I click "I understand the Risks":
"If you understand what's going on, you
can tell Firefox to start trusting this site's identification.
Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is
tampering" But it doesn't show me the "with your connection." part and the "add exception button, and it won't let me scroll down.

unfortunately the fiddler2 issuer in certificates might be a sign of unwanted software present on your pc that is intercepting secure network traffic. please go into the system control panel and uninstall programs like BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, SafeGuard or other software that sounds suspicious and didn't get installed by you intentionally.

Firefox freezes whilst scrolling down on Facebook, and a bit more

Well, I have some problems with Firefox. Firstly, it freezes for 2-3 seconds when I try to scroll down so that new content would appear on the page. Secondly, Firefox makes error whilst watching a stream on Twitch.tv and it was something like "stop plugin or continue". (I am not sure about the details) And ultimately, Firefox is literally way slower than Chrome as far as I experienced. Despite not freezing, scrolling down/up on the other websites, like Reddit, is still a hideous experience for me on these last versions of Firefox. (I think these problems started after Firefox 2 firstly, yet it accumulated until today and it is unbearable right now for me.)
Anyway, I am on the verge of uninstalling Firefox because of these speed/crash issues all the time I encounter. I really really need help. Thanks so much!
By the way, my laptop has:
Intel i5 4200m cpu @ 2.5 ghz
8.00 gb ram
nvidia geforce gt 740m
And I have AdBlock, Last Pass add-ons on my browser.

Facebook keep loading every 2 - 3 seconds while scrolling down... It is very frustrating.. I like new firefox but this should be fixed...

I liked new firefox... I made it my default browser..But I am very frustrated with issue here I mentioned. Whenever I scroll down on facebook.. every 2-3 seconds page gets loading and it eventually make my surfing experience bad... To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Apple mouse no longer scrolls down in Firefox

Today my mouse stopped scrolling down or up in Firefox, though scrolling side to side still works. This is only happening in Firefox. I just downloaded 30.0 and that didn't help. The about:config settings for scrolling are ok. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this in Firefox?

Does this only affects the mouse and can you still scroll with the keyboard?
Can you move the scroll bar thump with the left mouse button pressed?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

From time to time Firefox will not allow me to scroll down a web page, when I scroll down it will jump right back to the top of the web page. Any ideas?

Sometimes when on firefox when I try to scroll down a web page it will immediately jump right back to the top of the web page as soon release the mouse button. When it starts happening it will do this on all open tabs on all web sites.
Just closing Firefox and reopening it does not help, only way I have found to fix this is to reset my computer.

In Firefox 3.6 and later versions you can disable the F7 shortcut that toggles caret browsing by setting the pref accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled to false.
To open the ''about:config'' page, type '''about:config''' in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden.
*View > Toolbars > Customize
*Right-click a toolbar).
*Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.
Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.
