Comment passer directement à ma page d'acceuil FireFox???
Mon OS est Seven family

  • I don't have the option to run firefox 8 in 32 bit mode on my computer

The majority of the websites I try to open give me a pop up saying I need to open them in "32 Bit Mode". When I go to the applications, then Firefox, I don't have the option of 32 bit mode there. Do I have to download it? My dad has it on his computer, he has Firefox 8, same as me.

See http://www.phil.im/2011/03/27/how-to-start-firefox-4-in-32-bit-mode/ - the steps are the same with Firefox 8

  • After upgrading to v4 Firefox always start in Safe Mode. How to avoid this?

When I start Firefox, this Safe Mode windows always shows:
    [http://imageshack.us/m/593/9760/firefoxsavemode.jpg http://imageshack.us/m/593/9760/firefoxsavemode.jpg]
There is no option for Normal mode and I can't use Firefox 4 normally.
    Any ideas?

  • How to launch firefox 4 in full screen mode

hello, How to launch firefox 4 in full screen mode. I dont want to press SHIFT CMD F each time? thx

There needs to a be a space before -fullscreen and that switch needs to be placed after the quotes
    *"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -fullscreen
But I don't think that it will work. Firefox 4 doesn't have that switch by default, so support should be added via an extension.

  • Firefox has gone into safe mode. what happened and how do i fix it?

when i loaded firefox it went into safe mode and now firefox is useless

How do you know it is in Safe Mode?
Normally closing Firefox - Firefox button>Exit or File>Exit - and waiting a few seconds before re-opening should put you back into Normal Mode.
If not, check with Task Manager and close Firefox if it is still running.
Please sign in when you report back on progress. You may need to do some troubleshooting. Full system details would help.

Firefox keeps switching into Safe Mode, necessitating Mac restart to get my extensions back. I'm fed up! -- I keep having to shut down umpteen apps to restart.

Can you give a description of what you call "Safe Mode" From my reading, the "Safe Mode" is something added on by a specific tool used to Jailbreak an iPhone. Unless you are talking about something different.

  • Firefox comes up in "safe" mode. How do I turn it off. I can't use the program this way.

About two weeks ago some virus (?) got in my computer. I lost everything and had to reload everything.
When I reloaded Firefox it came up 'locked'. Nothing would react to my mouse.
I discovered it came up in "safe" mode. I removed the program and reloaded it again. It came up in safe mode again. When I hit start and look at programs Firefox is there and under it is another Firefox program with safe mode in parenthesis. I can't use it this way. How do I turn safe mode off?

See [[Firefox is stuck in Safe Mode]], the last option seems to be the most likely in your case.

Do you get the [[Safe mode]] start window?

If you do not get the Safe mode start window then see this article for some suggestions: [[Firefox has just updated tab shows each time you start Firefox]]

  • How do I stop Firefox from opening in Safe Mode?

Every time I open Firefox it opens in Safemode. I have checked the properties and it doesn't say any thing about Safe mode being on. Also, I have disabled all my addons restarted my computer, tried opening from a different location, and reinstalled Firefox.

Make sure that you do not use a shortcut key that uses only the Shift key or have the Shift key pressed if you click the desktop shortcut.
If you do have a shortcut key that only uses Shift then change that to use Shift + Ctrl or Shift + Alt.

  • Firefox will not open up. It gives me the choice to reset firefox or open safe mode. reset firefox does nothing and safe mode just continues to load .

When it is in safe mode the wheel just spins and nothing happens. When reset firefox is selected nothing happens. I have erased firefox and redownloaded it many times and the same thing occurs.

Can you bring up the Profile Manager to create a new profile?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
    See "Creating a profile":
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem

  • How can I prevent Firefox from starting in Offline Mode when there is no internet connection?

    Hey!
When I fire up my laptop from standby it takes some time before the wireless internet connection is established. If i am too quick and open Firefox before that happens, it automatically goes into Offline Mode, which I hate a lot.
Is there any way to disable this behaviour?
I have already tried everything mentioned here: [http://superuser.com/questions/208146/can-firefoxs-offline-mode-be-disabled http://superuser.com/questions/208146/can-firefoxs-offline-mode-be-disabled]
Also I found this addon, which unfortunately does not work with Firefox 11: [https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/disable-automatic-offline-mana/ https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/disable-automatic-offline-mana/]

That shouldn't happen in Firefox 4 or later. You should just get a page not found or server not found message.
Can you check the following setting?
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type or paste '''offline''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Look for '''network.manage-offline-status''' and reset it to False (either double-click or right-click/reset).
    Does that work?
