Firefox ShadowDoc out of sync, how do I issue a "cache document" command?

frequently getting error message that ShadowDoc is out of sync because typing or pasting of text has been detected. Issue a "cache document: command to sync Dragon Dictate with your document

The only information I could find on this error is over 3 years old.
However the cache has permissions on each website. If you click on page info for a site that may be asking for cache access, you can check the permissions to store offline cache info.
Please also ask for help from the software's support, they may know what's going on.

What do you mean by 'out of sync'?
Try running the 'kickstart' using Send UNIX Command or while logged in to that server (ssh etc):
sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/Resources/k ickstart -restart -agent -menu -console
You might also want to trash /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.plist from the server..

Are they off by always the same amount of time or they drift apart over time?
If the former, you may try a quick adjustment, though it is a manual affair. Control-click on the clip in the browser, choose "Open in Timeline" and try moving the audio to match.
If I remember correctly, DV tape audio could be recorded in 32KHz or 48KHz. The latter is the one that should be used, always.
Maybe this one was recorded at 32KHz?

Video runs slow on firefox and out of sync with audio with abode flash 12.

Ever since I installed adobe flash player 12 my videos run slow and out of sync with the audio it is like it pauses for a couple seconds and starts back working and keeps doing that.

You can also try to disable hardware acceleration in the Adobe settings menu.

Battery Meter out of Sync - How can I resolve?

Hi,
I have a 3.5 Year old MAC Book Pro.
As soon as the battery gets to 20% (acccording to OSX) it just cuts all power and everything is lost. The battery is dead, not sure why OSX reports 20% before it turns off.
I've read some tips on recalibrating but I can't do that as it requires you to wait until the low battery warning kicks in.
Some people say a sudden power cut is due to overheating. This is not the case with me, as the battery is totally dead and needs AC Power to come back on. Also it happens whenever I get to 20% even if I shut down at 22% leave for hours so stone cold and power up for a few mins.
Some other articles say replace the battery, ok it's 3.5 years old but battery apps say its 96.1% healthy and it lasts hours.
Bascially I need to override when the low battery warning comes up? Is this possible?

Audio locked at playhead, but goes out of sync if video is cropped

Hi,
Using iMovie HD 6, I have the audio locked at playhead, but if I crop part of the video (beginning or ending), the audio goes out of sync.
Here's what I've done:
1) Extracted audio from video
2) Silenced this audio
3) Imported audio from audio recorder (Edirol R-09HR)
4) Synced the imported audio
*5) Attempted to crop part of the video footage in the timeline... goes out of sync

Hi JohnDoe2009 - firstly, extracting the audio is not necessary in your case. Simply mute the video's audio, by reducing its level to zero - that is what actually happens when you extract the audio, after all.
It is my experience also, that locking audio clips to particular video clips is not fail-safe if further cropping is done afterwards, especially if that cropping is fairly substantial. Where possible, do the syncing after all crop-editing has been completed.
As a last check I always review the syncing before finalising the movie.

Audio out of sync on source file

So I've captured 4 tapes from an event. The 1st two tapes captured produced a quicktime file with the audio out of sync. The last two tapes are fine. The sample rates match both the capture settings and sequence settings and "make new clip on timecode break" is turned on. "Abort capture on dropped frame" was left off.
I set up a new scratch disk after already capturing all the footage. I moved everything (render files, capture scratch, audio render, etc.) from one folder to another. I had suspected this being the problem until realizing the problem was not only on the timeline, but also on the source files opening in quicktime player.
I've done searches and everything, but cant seem to find anything helpful. Could dropped frames be doing this?

First, scroll to the right in your browser and make sure the audio 'format' is 48.0kHz...just to check.
What is your media source...DV, HDV, DVCPro...etc?
Is the sync issue a consistent amount, or does it fall further out of sync over time?
If there were timecode breaks or any other reason that caused the capture to 'drop frames', then chances are your setting for 'make new clip on timecode break' is the culprit. FCP will continue to capture beyond the break, but with improper TC.
If the sync just goes further out of sync over time, then it could be the audio was captured at 47.998 or 48.002. This can usually be fixed by 'Exporting as aiff - 48khz/16bit.
Drifting out of sync can be an issue with long captures as well. Might consider breaking captures down to 20 minute chunks.
Post back with info/answers.

Video plays out of sync with Flash version 11.6.602.180 in Firefox

I've been receiving multiple reports that some videos plays out of sync with Vimeo's Flash player in Firefox, but not in other browsers (with the same version of Flash installed). Disabling/enabling hardware accelerated decoding does not seem to make a difference. Any ideas as to what might be causing this issue?

This could be multiple issues, but the first thing that comes to mind is the protected mode feature in Flash Player for Firefox. We've made significant improvements in our 11.7 beta and I'd recommend giving this a try:

If that doesn't help, or you can't update to the beta version, try the steps outlined in this post:

In particular, I'd recommend temporarily disabling protected mode (for troubleshooting purposes only) to see if that addresses the issue.

Thank you so much for providing the details about the duplicate song issue you are experiencing. It sounds like you would like to remove the duplicate songs that will not play on your iPhone, but when you connect it to iTunes, iTunes only shows you one copy of the song on your iPhone.
In this situation, I recommend deleting the individual songs that do not play directly from your iPhone. I found the steps to do this on page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf):
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
Typically, select the clip,
as you hold down the Alt key of the computer main keyboard, tap the left or right arrow key once. Each tap = 1 frame nudge.
as you hold down the Shift+Alt keys of the computer main keyboard, tap the left or right arrow key once. Each tap = 5 frames nudge.
If you are working with audio editing, consider Edit Menu/Project Settings/General with Audio Display Format = Milliseconds.

Logical Standby out of sync after archiver stuck (how to resync)

I had an archiver stuck on my logical standby database for about 4 hours this night.
2 hours later my primary db also had an archiver stuck.
After solving the problem by repairing the backup mechanism and startup of the archivelog backup I realised
that some tables are out of sync.
