Firefox shows a C++ Runtime error, then crashes when I log in to certain websites with HP SimplePass fingerprint scanner

When I use firefox to log into my Gmail school account, a window pops up with "microsoft visual C++ runtime library"

then a second window pops up:

when I try to log in using internet explorer everything is fine, and I can use SimplePass to log in to other websites on firefox without a problem

To see registered devices in My account:
1) Go to Account > My Account
2) Scroll down, and ensure that that you first have an active subscrption (if you do not, you are not logged in to you Ovi Music unlimited account)
3) Below Unlimited downloads subscription box, you should have a Registered devices box.

Browsers crashing when trying to view Youtube (other websites with video)

Getting a spinning wheel on two browsers (Firefox and Safari) when trying to load up websites like Youtube and ESPN.com (video based websites). Issue only occurred after recent Firefox update. Force quits are very slow. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

When i executed a query, it is showing as ABAP runtime error RAISE_EXCEPTION in the short dump.
This is the Analysis in Short dump (ST22)...............
Exception condition "DATE_BEFORE_RANGE" raised.
What happened?
The current ABAP/4 program encountered an unexpected
situation.
Error analysis
A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLSCAL" raised the exception
condition "DATE_BEFORE_RANGE".
Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior program
in the hierarchy, processing was terminated.
Short description of exception condition:
Date is earlier than factory calendar definition
For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called
function module from the display of active calls.
How to correct the error
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"RAISE_EXCEPTION" C

Maintain your factory calendar idents Valid To year field (BJAHR) in Table TFACD
You can do this via tcode SCAL, or navigate through SPRO.
Most likely you have your factory calendars set with Valid To dates as 2010. You may also be encountering some load issues depending on exit routines used in transformations in determining workdays/factory days etc.

I get error messages when I try to visit certain websites using Mozilla Firefox but not when I use other browsers

About two days ago I noticed that when I tried to access certain websites using Firefox I always got this error message; "The connection was reset". I initially thought it was a problem with my isp before noticing that the network was fine on my phone and iPad. I then attempted opening the same links that brought up the error message on the TorBrowser and it worked perfectly.
Basically the only website that works on my Firefox browser right now is Google but if I do a search on Google and then click on any link that comes up as a result I get the same error message, "The connection was reset". I can also log into my gmail account but I cannot access any other website including Feedly, Tumblr, Twitter, Yahoo, Wordpress, Blogspot, even though they work fine on my other browser.
I cleared my cache and cookies, wiped out all the browsing history but the problem persisted so I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox and reinstalled it. The problem is still there. I checked the proxy settings, I went through all the solutions on this page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can?esab=a&as=aaq and still nothing. I am not sure what the problem is here but any solution will be much appreciated. I have used Firefox for years now and I am not really comfortable using another browser.

It seems that you file has become corrupted.
One thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way.

IE uses a different version of Flash (ActiveX version) than Firefox and Chrome use (the Plugin version). You might want to try the Adobe Flash forums for help with those Flash problems. <br />

Safari crashes when I get to a certain bookmark. What can I do?

It all started when my bookmarks and reading list disappeared and then reappeared. Now, whenever I scroll down my bookmarks list, safari always crashes when I get to a certain one. So I am never able to get to the bottom of the list. This has never happened to me before and I'm really frustrated with this issue. If anyone had a similar experience or any tips that they could give me, that would be great!

- Closing safari, then reopening
- Restarting my iPhone
- Clearing my history, cookies, and data in settings

Just few details.
I have Firefox instaled on D: disc because my system crashed and after reinstaling OS on C: disc i haven't insatled it but just just used old one just moved to D: disc.
So my only problem is that I wont to get a hold of unbackuped bookmarks in that Firefox, and then one can instal Firefox4.

I experienced this error updating from Firefox 3.6.13 to 3.6.14 and resolved it by doing a 'clean' install' as described. It occurred again in updating from 3.6.14 to 3.6.15 and this time a clean install failed to rectify it. (Anyway, I don't want to have to go through this every time.)
Work-around: Shut down Firefox. Edit application.ini (typically "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\application.ini")

Hi - Just updated today with automatic 6.0.1 update and once I did, Firefox killed Adobe Reader. I fixed that but then found that opening the Tools, Add-Ons page locks up Firefox for a few minutes, then crashes it.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. As for your problem, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on.
