Firefox still brings up warning page after google has cleared by website

I got flagged by google saying that my adwords account had been frozen because of malicious code on my website. Google reviewed my website and I was cleared. IE and Chrome do not display the warning anymore, but your product still displays the warning page 48 hours after being cleared by google.

Some websites use Flash for ''upload'' file selection between it can magically start uploading immediately, handles multiple uploads simultaneously, and provides a nice interface, which works around many of the limitations of regular HTTP file upload controls.
I'm not sure that Flash is relevant, but in case you have not already tried these standard troubleshooting tips for Flash:
(1) If you have any recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media make sure they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.
(2) Disable Flash using hardware acceleration. See this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
(3) Disable the protected mode feature. This involves creating or editing a settings file. You can disable that by creating or editing a settings file. The following pages/posts provide different ways to do that:
* Adobe support article under the heading "Last Resort": [http://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493#TemporaryWorkaround Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?]

Flash needs to completely unload from memory (exiting and starting Firefox up again might help) before this takes effect.

  • When I click on link in a website firefox randomly decide to reload the page after it has already loaded it once. It's really irritating. I tried uninstalling firefox and installing the latest version but it still does it. HELP!!!!

After I updated to 3.6.8 I started noticing on a game I play at UniversalCriminal.com that randomly when I click on a link, firefox will load the appropriate page and as soon as it finishes loading that page it will refresh or reload the same page. It doesn't happen on any particular link it just happens randomly, and not all the time but most of the time. I tried reverting back to an earlier version of firefox but it still happened. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the latest version but it still happens. It doesn't do it with IE or Chrome or Opera. What gives? Any ideas anyone?

  • Ovi site brings up blank pages after I log in

I can browse ovi store,  look at apps, etc, but as soon as I log in to download any all I get is a blank page. I've cleared my cache and tried it in 3 browsers. If I log into the nokia site, then go to ovi store it asks me to log in again when I want to download or send anything to my phone and every time - a blank page. I've even got 2 friends to try on their pc's! How do I fix this? If I delete my account at nokia will I be able to create a new one or will it recognise my number and not allow me to ?

CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.
If that does not fix the problem, you can try renaming the file '''''content-prefs.sqlite''''' to content-prefs.sqlite.old (or delete the file) in the Profile Folder to reset the page zoom on all sites.

  • Firefox won't delete cookies even after set to clear cookies on firefox exit

I have use custom settings for remembering history in firefox.
I set to clear history on firefox close. Under this settings, I set to clear cookies, active login and cache. But whenever firefox exits it doesn't remove cookies.
Also, I set to keep cookies till firefox closes. Still the cookies appears.
This is a big security issue for me..When I click restore previous session, firefox restores the login into sites also which I don't want

    Got It!!!
Go To: Firefox/Tools/Options/Privacy/Tracking Checked box/Tell websites I do not want to be tracked/ History Firefox will: Never Remember History/ You may also want to: clear all current history/ Clear now/ click OK, ---> got it, that is your answer.<-- (Right click the left image below to open in a new tab)
And it is my answer as well, as I was confounded with this problem for some time. Now after you do this close your Firefox browser, and open back up Firefox browser, and there will be maybe only one or two cookies, depending on your browsers' home page.
I tried other methods to get rid of persistent cookies that would not delete by, CookieKiller, and TACO Targeted Advertising Cookie Opt-Out, those did not help, and I tried the methods listed on these links but they did not work:http://webdevwonders.com/clear-dom-storage/
Also this method did not work:http://justplainobvious.blogspot.com/2009/03/firefox-wont-delete-cookies.html
Next to make your Firefox browsing possible, go to/Firefox/Tools/Options/Privacy/,Tracking Checked box/Tell websites I do not want to be tracked, History Firefox will: Use custom settings for history, unchecked box Always use private browsing mode, unchecked box Remember my browsing history, unchecked box Remember download history, unchecked box Remember search and form history, checked box Accept cookies from sites, checked box Accept third party cookies, Keep until: I close Firefox, checked box clear history when Firefox closes, /settings all nine boxes checked/ click --->OK! (Right click the right image below to open in a new tab)
    All Cookies are gone/history/deleted.

  • Firefox constantly being unable to open after it has been closed and requires a machine restart

I have used all of the solutions published and consistently find that I close Firefox, go to reopen it and I get the two standard messages:
Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.
    Then:
Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.
Task manager cannot close the application
the application is not visible in any session
I have followed all the posted solutions
I have uninstalled Firefox, shut down, rebooted. shut down again, rebooted, then downloaded a fresh copy of Firefox, run updates, got the messages that says it is fully up to date, and I am still encountering the problem.
After three days of tackling the issue and countless hours, I'm ready to move to another browser, but do not want to.

Typically when we see the 'Firefox Process' refusing to close the issue is with a misbehaving plugin, add-on, or toolbar component. I will post a link to the Mozilla Knowledge Base about creating a test profile:
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
Follow the instructions on that page to create a brand new profile for your browser, we will use this to confirm the source of the issues you are having. Use this new profile to browse briefly, then close Firefox and confirm if the issue is still giving you trouble. With the new profile the Firefox Process should end without any issues.
If this new profile is not having issues, then your problem is most likely with one or more plugins or add-ons installed on your original user profile. If you find that the new profile has fixed your issues, then you can follow the steps labelled under "Removing a profile" to delete the files that were causing issues with your browser. Removing a profile can permanently delete files, so make sure to confirm that the new profile has solved all of your issues before removing a previous profile.

  • How to resize the embeded player in a page after it has loaded?

    Hi all
I'm working with Flash 8, with the FLV player component. The
player loads various flash videos (flv)
    that can have verious sizes.
I have set the autosize detection for the player. But I want
the size of the embeded player to also
change according to the size of the loaded flv.
For example, if the loaded flv is 100px by 100px, I want the
embeded player to be 100px by 100px (in
the html code). if the flv is 500px by 350px, i want the
embeded flav to change to that 500 x 350px.
As far as I know, the sizes of the flv file cannot be
detected with PHP or javascript, so only the
component can detect the flv size. Therefore I would need a
way to re-write the embeded code after
    the flv has loaded.
Anybody knows how to do that? Is it possible?

    * In the location bar, type '''about:config''' and hit Enter.<br><br>
    * In the filter at the top, type: '''keyword.URL'''<br><br>

  • I want to set up firefox with 2 seperate home pages, using google with 2 different email addresses

I use igoogle, and I have 2 separete email addresses which I use for seperate reasons, as I will be setting up a web page using one of them. As to this I wondered if there was a way to set up having 2 shortcuts or 2 downloads of firefox with each one having a different homepage, but still using igoogle.
Do I need to download another copy of firefox and while setting it up, set it up with the different email address? Or is there another way of doing this? Or is it something that cannot be done?

  • Firefox will lot load web pages after upgrading to version 3.6.6

After loading 3.6.6 I can no longer access the internet. Norton Internet Security 2010 has quarantined 3 Firefox files: nssdbm3.dll, freebl3.dll, softokn3.dll
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== I upgraded to 3.6.6. Firefox worked fine prior to upgrade. After upgrade, Norton told me there was a security incident and I needed to reboot. I have not been able to use Firefox since rebooting.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't have to process the php, it just has to show the HTML content. It did that just fine before the last upgrade but won't now.
I've seen that page you referenced: http://kb.mozillazine.org/File_types_and_download_actions.
It doesn't help. The things it says to look for aren't there for me, specifically:
    browser.download.pluginOverrideTypes
    plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types
I followed the rest of the instructions but it didn't help.
I did get it to quit opening tabs, instead it prompts me what it should do with the file every time now. What it should do, and used to do, is open the php page and display the HTML content.
    Any other ideas?

I'm having problem with firefox while surfing after a while. For example at first 15 minutes , there is no problem , after a while firefox doesnt load any page , i have to close it and reopen it again to make it work. While firefox is not loading , i can use other browsers as normal. It just doesn't load any page at all but the program itself responds so I can close it with X button. What could be the problem , I'm using latest firefox.

  • I have set Firefox to never remember history, and 'Stop private browsing' is accordingly greyed out in the options menu, but Firefox still remembers history items even after restart -- why?

I have just downloaded Firefox after reformatting my hard drive so I was not upgrading -- I wonder if I am missing a file which would have been there if I was upgrading from an earlier version.
Not much else to say: I ticked the relevant boxes.

If you set "Firefox will: Never remember history" then you enter Private Browsing mode immediately.
You can see a grayed "Tools > Stop Private Browsing" to confirm that.
This doesn't affect already stored History, but Firefox won't add new visited links to the History.
If you want to remove sites from the History then you need to do that yourself.
You can (temporarily) set the pref [http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo] to ''0'' to clear the ''Recently Closed Tabs'' list.
Use the ''Reset'' context menu item to re-enable ''Undo Closed Tabs'' with the default value if you want to re-use that feature.
You can temporarily set the pref browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo to 0 to reset the Recently Closed Windows list,
However there appears to be always one window left that is only removed if you close and restart Firefox.
You can avoid that by closing all tabs before closing the window with only an empty tab left.
Set the pref '''browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab''' to ''false'' on the about:config page to prevent closing the last tab from closing the browser.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config

  • Why won't Firefox open my e-mail page, after clicking the tab, from a Comcast preview page?

I have Comcast.net. From my home page, when I click the email button, first, I must sign-in and then a preview page appears with a short list of emails. When I click the tab to open the entire email page, the entire page does not open as it should. When I click each email on the preview page, each email will not open, as it should, either.
