Firefox stopw working when I select "Reset Firefox".

I have attempted to reset Firefox multiple times, but it stops working every time. Firefox now has a "Mystart" tab that I was hoping to get rid of by resetting, but I'm not allowed to reset.

Please update Firefox to the latest Firefox 24 version

Hierarchy Variable seems not working, it fetches all data from the CUBE as Flat List ignoring the selection when i give only the Hierarchy Nodes,
I am also not able to view the data in Tree Format, the data is displyed as flat from the CUBE with Cost Center and Cost Element..
My Requirement:
User can select any of the above selection which should not be manadatory:
Cost Center Hierarchy or

Result output for the above in Tree Format.

Just to make sure you can get started in Firefox Safe Mode - Hold the Shift key down as you double click on the Firefox icon, ignore the page that opens and Continue. Firefox isn't the only thing that has been updated and new conflicts and culprits can emerge.
I would also recommend a search of your computer to make sure no residue of "Conduit" remains.

Itunes has stopped working when i select podcasts on device sync page

since upgrading to 10.1, i cannot select podcasts from the device sync page w/o itunes crashing with the message "itunes has stopped working"

I've seen similar symptoms produced in the past when a podcast file is damaged, but it's much rarer to see that cause of trouble nowadays.

'ToDate function doesn't work when I select a month

I've got a problem. It worked before, but can't get it to work anymore
I have a fact called XXOBI_GL_LINES_MV which has a column Amount_accounted. Now I want to use the ToDate function which look something like this:
ToDate(XXOBI_GL_LINES_MV,TIMEDIM.YEAR)
So I want to create a year to date.
Now when I make a report it all works fine. Except when I add a column of the time dimension to the report.
But the strange thing is, it worked, but I can't get it to work anymore so I hope someone can help me out!!

Library not found on external HD, but it is there and works when manually selected

Hi,
I recently moved my whole iTunes library and music to an external hard-drive (connected via USB). I did this the correct way by letting iTunes do most of the work via a library consolidation. The library, songs and artwork all function fine.
However, upon first opening iTunes after logon, it always says "The folder containing the iTunes library cannot be found and is required. Please choose or create a new iTunes library". I then click "Choose Library", navigate to my external hard-drive and select "iTunes Library.itl" and the library loads all my music and all is fine again. However, if I close iTunes or logoff, the same thing happens every time I start up iTunes again. It is as if it can't remember my choice of library, or thinks it is not there or something.
I have tried turning off hard-disks going to sleep and also tried viewing the external drive in Finder before opening iTunes (in case it was asleep). This doesn't work.
Any ideas please? Thanks in advance

Thanks Jim - appreciate your responses. I have tried just selecting the iTunes folder and the problem still exists. So the library loads fine and I can manage my music, but iTunes doesn't remember it. When I manually choose the library and select the iTunes folder, the preferences panel shows it correctly :
I have done some tests and it appears that iTunes does remember my selection, but only for about 20 seconds. So if I only leave iTunes open for less than 20 seconds, quit and relaunch, it remembers the library. If I leave iTunes open for more than 20 seconds, quit and relaunch, it does not remember the library and prompts me to choose it again.
In case this was a permissions issue, I have selected the iTunes folder and ensured my user has full read/write permissions and then applied to all enclosed items.
Any further help much appreciated!

Itunes stops working when I select the Apps tab for my phone

As the title of this post suggests, I am experiencing difficulty accessing the APPS tab for my phone on itunes. I recently did the latest update, but it simply crashes every time I try to select it, then it resyncs every time I retry. I'm only experiencing this problem with that tab. Trying to make a ring tone (firstworldproblem).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (bearing in mind I am pretty woeful with computers)

PSE 6 stops working when photomerge selected

It worked fine last week, but all of a sudden, I cant get photomerge to work. If I click on it, PSE6 "stops working" and windows shuts it down. Win VISTA Home Premium...Acer 4800+ dual core with 4 gig. I have a whole pile of images waiting to create panoramas and all of a sudden, the program stops working!

Many people have complained about this. The only thing that seems to work, at least for some people, is to do a complete uinstall/reinstall. Note that uninstalling does not remove all traces of PSE, so after uninstalling, manually remove those traces before reinstalling in the Adobe-recommended "simplified mode". Dell laptop headphone jack does not work when playing audio and video in Firefox 27

I believe it has little to nothing to do with extensions.
I have just installed Firefox 27 on the Dell Inspiron 3520 laptop of a friend. She is an unsophisticated user who has a computer for email, simple web browsing, and watching YouTube and other online videos. Because she frequently seems to end up with junk on her machine, I wanted to switch her over to Firefox so I could install ad and script blockers that would hopefully slow down the frequency of adware and malware roosting in her system.
The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3520 with an Intel celeron CPU (64-bit), running Windows 8. There are standard end-user applications installed (Adobe Reader, VLC Media Player, etc.), but no tweaking utilities, etc. The audio drivers are Cirrus Logic High Definition Audio.
I've been troubleshooting the laptop today trying to track down why the integrated speakers continue to work when the headphones are plugged in, with no sound coming through the headphones. Because I had run a series of virus / malware / adware scans just before installing Firefox, I thought I had mistakenly deleted some system audio files.
It finally became clear after toggling multiple settings, playing with Windows and Dell sound settings, and experimenting, that the headphone audio jack still works as it should in the system itself (for example, playing videos through VLC Media Player) and in Internet Explorer. It is only in Firefox that plugging in the headphones does not send audio through the headphones nor cut out the integrated speakers.
Sometimes there is a silencing of the integrated speakers for a few seconds, but then the audio kicks in again. (I am using YouTube and a certain movie streaming website to test the audio).
However, if the headphones are plugged in before starting the videos, the sound comes through the headphones, but unplugging the headphones, then reinserting them, stimulates problem again. Not only that, but then in YouTube the video will stall and can't be restarted until the page is reloaded.
Again, this is a fresh Firefox install of less than 24 hours, with only Adblock, Adblock Plus Pop-up Addition, Flashblock, and NoScript installed. There are no themes installed and most of the Options are the defaults that are set upon installation.
I have both disabled the add-ons and uninstalled them entirely before testing the headphone funtionality. In both instances the problem persisted. I've also uninstalled and let Windows re-install the Cirrus audio drivers.
Does anyone else have any insight into this problem, and any potential solutions other than "start in Safe Mode" and "reset Firefox"?

Firefox can switch audio devices within ~ a + or - 10 minute period or so (Just a guess). At which point it latches onto the audio device and will never change until the entire process is shutdown (read last paragraph, there is an exception)
Ive had this problem for a few months now, at least. And I switch back and forth from my sound system and my wireless USB headset.
If anything will fix this i believe it would be disabling "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" in the properties of your default audio device, but i doubt it. I think this is an issue regarding the code in firefox itself.
I'd like to see this turned into a default feature, being able to disable and enable the ability to stay on whichever device was the default at the time of launch, or to always play on the current default device, even if its changed. That or being able to choose a specific device/devices (WOULD LOVE TO THIS).
Other than that I dont really have a solution, and I kind of doubt anyone will unless its addressed in the next update.
Oh I thought of one solution that doesnt require restarting firefox, disable the current audio device and the sound will automatically switch to the next available device. Or possibly when a new device is introduced?? I havent done much testing on the matter though. This is just my best guess based on my personal experience with firefox.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.

You need to restore.
Everything should be on your computer, so you can just sync it back.
