Firefox sync brings up an error message everytime it tries to sync in Firefox 4

I have used Firefox sync for a long time now, in both Firefox 3 and now, in Firefox 4. In Firefox 3, there were never any problems encountered when I tried to sync. Now, in Firefox 4, every time it tries to sync an error message bar appears. It has not synced since I first installed Firefox 4 when it firs came out as the full (non-beta) version. I only use Firefox sync as a means to backup my data, and don't have it syncing with another computer or device.
Why does it keep having an error syncing?

It seems that the same version of FF (4.0.1) on Windows XP is working fine. I also have a Vista computer and sync did not work earlier, but now seems to work more often than not. My Win 7 computer, however is refusing the sync and has done so for over a week now. Very disappointing.

Although you used the new USB 3.0 port, the actual connection speed is still USB2.0, as the iPod Dock connector, does not have the 10 times faster USB3.0 signal pins, the connection speed is still 480Mbits/s
I assumed that you have tried the other USB 2.0 port to no success..
Can you do the iPod Disk diagnostic as posted earlier by tt2, it wont fix your problem, but helps in troubleshooting.

You seem to have tried everything, and you say it's syncing fine on your Dad's iMac, so I assume, you have also  done a Disk Diagnostic from an earlier post by tt2 and conclude that your iPod Hardisk is good.
You don't have to use it as a heavy paperweight, the problem is only using your Windows 7 machine for syncing.
In your troubleshooting steps, did you try to use another High-Speed USB 2.0 port, USB controller resource are very scarce, so if you use other USB devices, while syncing your iPod, it may just freeze.
Windows have a bad reputation for device conflict, so better don't connect other  USB devices, while syncing, better sync it while disconnected from Internet, stop antivirus just before you go to bed.

how do i solve error message 13019 when trying to sync my iphone?

I received the same error message after I had recently updated iTunes to 10.5.1 and I had wirelessly updated 13 apps.  I had to go into iTunes and select Apps, on the bottom right it said I needed to update 13 apps.  I updated the apps via iTunes and then synced again without an issue.

  • I am getting error message -50 when trying to sync my 80gb ipod classic on windows 8.1

This just started last night. Itunes made me restore my ipod for some reason and then when I tried to transfer all of my songs this occurred. The transfer always started quick but then when I get into the 500-700 song range it slows down drastcially (almost 2 minuted to transfer 1 song) then i get that error message -50 ipod cant be synced. IDK what could cause this but am hoping other people are having this problem and have solved it because I need to get it resolved. I need my ipod back!!

I have tried reintalling itunes and the same problem occurs as well deleting my temp files as someone instructed me to do. Still having the same problem.

when I try to sync my ipod 30gb 6th gen with itunes on my mac, I get the message: the iPod "hamish edmondson's iPod" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (-48).
I have tried resetting the ipod, restarting my computer, reinstalling itunes etc.

  • Error message, 0xE8000065 when trying to sync with iTunes. HELP!!!

I bought a new iPhone 4S, but when I try to connect it to iTunes, I get an error message, 0xE8000065, or sometimes 0xE800001. I want to sync it but nothing I've tried (restarting the services, restarting the machine, reinstalling iTunes, erasing lockdown folder) works. Can anyone help me?
P.S. I saw a video in youtube explaining how to try to connect it using recovery mode, and iTunes did in fact detect the iPhone and asked me to update and restore. I did not want to as I already have some apps and pics but I went through it anyway. Since it was taking a LONG time, I went to get something to eat: when I came back, the iPhone had not been restored, and it still wouldn't connect to iTunes. I'm guessing the restore/update failed? In any case, how can I fix this issue?

"itunes could not connect with the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (11556)."
This error is associated with ringtones, are you trying to sync a ringtone, purchase a ringtone...need more info...
I have also an error message saying it cannot sync and error message number 0050.
Are you on Windows XP? Is this the error message...iTunes displays -50 error message? If so, follow these directions:

  • Error messages everytime itunes tries to download purchased music

We got a new computer recently, and on our old computer I believe we had itunes 5, and we had a 30 gb 5th gen that we downloaded purchased music onto. we can only get dial up connection where we live, and we never had an issue downloading, it just took awhile.
Now that we have our new computer, we also added an 80gb to the newer itunes (7?) we put on the new computer. I have purchased 3 songs, and everytime i try to download them, it says the network connection has timed out, or to check the network connection, etc. Not even a snippet of the song gets downloaded. It pretty much immediately goes to the error message.
Is itunes 7 set up to only be used with a broadband connection to download? Our internet connection is never the issue. Its pretty irritating to have songs ive purchased and not be able to put them on our ipods.
Any help would be appreciated, as im not too computer literate, and i cant figure this out.
