Firefox Sync not sending password Reset.. Been trying for 1 week now

this is absolutely ridiculous. For the past week I have been trying to reset my firefox sync password that I "apparently" have forgotten. Each time I put my email address in i never receive the email! Fricken STUPID

UPDATE: I have now accessed my account but ALL MY INFORMATION is gone. Nothing has synced besides my empty browser, are your servers having any issues lately?

    You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
    Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

  • HT2155 Ive been trying for days now to set up gmail.  I always get the message "user name or password for imap.gmailcom is in correct" I know for a fact that my onfo is correct.

    I have been trying for a long time to set up my gmail account.  So far to no avail.  I get a message that says "User name or password for Imap.gmail.com is incorrect.  Any sugesstions?

    I'm using FoxFire 3.6.10; I've tried cleaning cache, but it didn't help.
    I don't think it is my system, because I can send mail on the Safari.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

    Obviously my Support login is working.
    I CAN'T login to the SYNC account via the browser. It shows me the correct email address. I asked it to send me a new password. No email every comes.

  • Firefox sync not importing password on my new installed firefox

    i just installed new firefox deleting all preferences and settings.. i set up firefox syn successfully and got all history, last visited sites and etc successfully but... My passwords and ids are not there.. like when i visit gmail or facebook or any site it doesn't show any user id nor any password for it.. i checked settings in firefox option can checked all items tick marked bookmarks, password, history etc.. and my quota for password is 58.3 KB.. What should i do now??

    I have Firefox setup to open a link that I click on in an email or on a site into a new tab, and this is the new tab I am writing about. When I click on the link in the email or on a site, there is a delay and I get the dreaded "not responding" message. After a wait, finally I get to the site. And, which just happened, when I went from writing here and clicked on the tab to go back to my Yahoo email, I received the "not responding" message.
    I have also used the additional malware checking programs that are listed on the Firefox site in additional to Norton. Malwarebytes found 14 issues, which it took care of, but I still have the "not responding" problem. I even did the long version of their scan which did not find anything additional.     I mentioned above that I was getting the "not responding" message just going from here back to my email, but this last time I did that I did not get the "not responding" issue and was able to go back and forth normally.
    Everything you asked me to check looks normal. I just wish Firefox would work properly 98% of the time and some this "not responding" nonsense.
    I also do a program called Lumosity. This program will not work correctly when Firefox decides to not respond. Fortunately, this does not happen all of the time, but then it should not happen at all.
    I wonder the Firefox is meant to work with a Win8.1 touchscreen computer.
    I really do appreciate all of your help. Maybe we will get to the bottom of this some day.

    have you tried resettig the network settings? settings, general, reset, reset network settings. warning: you will have to re-enter the any saved wifi passwords.

  • Ive been trying for hours now but illustrator wont allow me to create clipping mask

    I have created the attached logo wit the pen tool. I then cut the middle bit out using the shape builder tool.
    I imported this onto a new document containing an image/object i want to clip it to . I select both go to object> make clipping mask.
    Both objects suddenly go blank and i can see the no fill/ no stroke icons. If this doesnt happen then ai will plain and simply say "cannot make clipping mask".
    This has been bothering me for a couple days now.
    Anyone have any ideas?

    You can do it in a quite different/similar way with Cliping masks, without or with the purple/flamelike/smoky coloured background.
    Note: There was an error in the first suggestion in post #18: In Step 5) you should select C) (the purple/flamelike/smoky coloured background to cut from) instead of D) (the underlying texture of the dripping black parts), sorry, I just spotted it.
    You may (reusing part of the first suggestion):
    1) Go back to, or start anew with, the following basic parts (starting with this stacking order):
    A) The Compound Path forming the inner dripping black part (in the A),
    B) The Compound Path forming the outer dripping black parts,
    C) The purple/flamelike/smoky coloured background to cut from,
    D) The underlying texture of the dripping black parts,
    E) The underlying texture of the inner letter parts;
    2) Select A) and B) and copy them both at the very top of the stacking order, then release both Compound Paths and delete the inner path from A) and the outer path from B), then make them into a new Compound Path consisting of the inner letter shapes (you may use Pathfinder>Minus Front or Object>Compound Path>Make);
    3) Move E) (the underlying texture of the inner letter parts) up just below the new Compound Path from 2), select both, and Object>Clipping Mask>Make, then hide;
    4) Select A) (the Compound Path forming the inner dripping black part (in the A)) and B) (the Compound Path forming the outer dripping black parts) and Object>Compound Path>Make;
    5) Select the combination from 4) and D) (the underlying texture of the dripping black parts) and Object>Clipping Mask>Make;
    6) Show 3).
    C) The purple/flamelike/smoky coloured backgroun, if you keep it, or any other background will will be visible wherever it is not covered.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble using your Acrobat.com subscription. I've checked your account, and there are no issues there.
    Is the problem specific to one PDF file, or are you running into the same problem with multiple files? How large is the file (or files) that you're trying to upload? Are they complex (large number of pages; mix of text and graphics)?
    Let's start with some basic troubleshooting:
    Clear the browser cache and try again.
    Try a different browser (see System requirements | Acrobat.com for a list of supported browsers).
    Make sure that there are no firewall or proxy settings that are limiting your access to the Internet.
    Let us know how it goes. If you're still having trouble, we can take a closer look at the files that you're trying to convert.

  • Firefox will NOT sync since adding password integration add-on for my macs. Is there a plan to resolve this conflict? Once I uncheck password sync works.

    I continue to obtain a sync error with unknown error. After spend a few hours online and troubleshooting, I determined by un-checking password sync, no errors were received. I added the add-on for Mac password integration and can only conclude that adding this feature has conflicted with my sync. Does anyone know of any issues or are there fixes already in place I am unaware. I am at that point to return to Safari for my macs due to this and other issues I have been having with Firefox.     Thank you for your question. I would recommend you try the new Firefox Sync, however currently it is available in beta starting Thursday.
    If the device is already authenticated and is syncs automatically, then the password does not have to be added every time. I do not understand how the Mac password integration works as you describe it to.
    If you are talking about choosing to sync stored passwords across devices please select any duplicates that may be stored in the profile under the preferences.

    The fact it will not uninstall appears to be something completely new as nobody I know who uses Firefox has ever encountered this in the past.

    Did you check your security software (firewall)?
    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
