Hello,
Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Click the menu button [[Image:New Fx Menu]], choose History, and then "Clear Recent History...".
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the "Clear Now" button.
Further information can be found in the [[Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox]] article.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you.

When I type a new URL in the address bar (or location bar), and I either type the complete URL or select from the drop down list, nothing happens. I hit enter, and the website does not load in the current tab, new tab nor in a new window. Exactly the same when I hit the green arrow to the right of the address bar. I am using Firefox 8, and all my add-ins are up to date.
It has been working before. The setting to get Firefox to open new pages in a new tab from the address bar is there, so it should open a new tab. But I get nothing at all!
Please help, how can I fix this?
Thanks,
James. That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Configure page in Azure portal does not load
Hi,
Whenever I try to load the "Configure" tab/view of my Mobile Service the page never stops loading. I can see some information in the background but I cannot change anything since it never stops loading. I have waited a couple of weeks if this was
something temporary but it seems permanent. I do not want to recreate my mobile service and my plan (MSDN sub) does not include the regular support within the portal.
Here is a pic, describing the problem: http://tinypic.com/r/2dqvqc1/8
Any ideas? It's possible that your mobile services has gotten into a bad state. Does the same thing happen if you create a new mobile service and use the Configure tab? Also, can you access other tabs for your service?
Either way, please email us your subscription ID and mobile service name to [email protected], and we'll investigate. -
I updates to the newest version of Safari via apple and now none of my pages load correctly. Most of the times I have to reload the page several times to get everything loaded. When I first load a page there are little question marks where images should be, sometimes it doesn't load at all and says it can't find the server or something. Some sites just load super funny. All I did was load the newest version of Safari. Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Firefox 5 crashes and session restore does not load any tabs that were previously open.
Also, if I exit Firefox 5 it no longer asks to confirm that I wish to close multiple tabs - even though that option is checked in the options folder. Have changed various settings in about:config but to no avail. Any ideas gratefully received...
Which prefs did you change?
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
*You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
*To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting <b>Firefox will: Use custom settings for history</b>
* Deselect: [ ] "Permanent Private Browsing mode"
It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
* Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

I have 27 firefox windows open with a grand total of 141 tabs.
Some times the input is directed to the wrong window. I will click refresh and it will refresh the first tab in a window, but not the tab I am on. Apparently this also happens when I try and use the mouse wheel or the up and down arrow to scroll a page.
Some times it works correctly on 1 window, but when I switch to another scrolling stops working.
Usually rebooting the computer helps, but I should not have to do that.Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

OS X Lion--Safari does not load pages. Updated OS X Lion and Safari does not function
I updated to OS X Lion and now Safari does not load any pages.
Actually there would be more than two possible reasons, but I appreciate your input. To answer your questions, YES and YES. All other machines and devices in the vicinity als work flawlessly though have not been upgraded (?) to Lion.
After the install of Lion, Safari stopped working. It loads a page OK then with no movement on my part it goes to a grey screen with the indicated message. I force a reload and it may or may not work, then suddenly goes to the same grey screen again. Over and over again. I haven't lost connection, not have I lost DNS connectivity. The program after upgrade has failed and Safari is telling me in a manner which I have never seen before that it cannot load the page, despite the facxt that it has already loaded and then lost on its own. When I boot from a backup Snow Leopard Disk it reverts to a functional system with Safari Ok. I have removed all remnents of Safari and restored with same problem.
Of course, one cannot go back from Lion and Safari 5.1 will not install on Lion so the problem would seem to be uniquely particular to the upgrade as repeated by many others on the net.
I'm open for suggestions but not accepting the possibility of a software glitch is no help.
Thanks again, -

"I do not get any message or option to add exception" - Using Self signed cert -Images does not load
Wr are have two web servers one for app and another for loading images. Both are behind Kemp Load balancer and are using self signed certs from the load balancer. The images does not load when using Firefox 3.x. I load with IE and Firefox 2.x. With firefox 3.x it does not give a message to "add exception". I only get one certificate message to add exception for the app server. I do not get the certificate message or pop up for the imaging server with Firefox 3.x.

If not take a look at "Problematic Extensions" the AVG Free installation of their "'''AVG Free Search'''" can cause such problems. ITunes does not load when connecting iPod Nano (4th Gen)
I have my iTunes settings 'disable automatic syncing for iphones and ipods' unchecked, and in my iPod settings i have 'open iTunes when connected' option checked, and iTunes still does not load. How do I solve this?
If you have itunes open and then connect the nano, what happens?

just reloaded snow leopard and my iphoto does not load up, get error message to perhaps reload iphoto ?????
Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Are you sure the version of iPhoto you have is Snow Leopard compatible? -
firefox is taking way too long to load pages. I have a very fast internet connection but firefox takes forever to load websites. At first it worked fine and very fast but now very slow??
Hi there!
do you test other browsers?
i suggest to make a clean install of newer version of Firefox like v8.0. -
Firefox won't load pages and says "Stopped" in the lower left corner of the screen.
From last night "Latest FF and XP Pro. 2.4 Ghz Celeron, 1 gig RAM. FF will work for a while, then it will stop loading pages and say "Stopped" in the lower left corner of screen. Sometimes I can refresh and the page will load, but 95 out of 100 times I can keep refreshing and it will say "Stopped". Or, the page will partially load and then quit and say "Stopped". I have disabled IPv6 and DNS Prefetching and it is still doing it. IE is doing about the same thing. VERY frustrated. My last PC started doing this and I finally upgraded to a newer one and it was fine for a couple months, but started doing the same recently. Arghhh ... Thanks!"
Thanks to you who replied last night/this morning. I hit the "solved" button apparently but this from last night-
https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/702910#threadId703008
is not solved. I tried FF 3.5.9 and still have the same problem.
Thanks again,
Dave
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox opened
== a while backYou, me and many others (based on threads throughout the net) have this same problem. I've had some peeps at Mozilla take a look, they couldn't find a problem or a solution.
Here's what I found does work - The problem popped up on me when I upgraded to Firefox 3.63. Uninstall FF 3.63, and install 3.59. You can still download it until end of June or July I think.
My problems went away with 3.59. Seems to only affect Window users as Mac Firefox 3.63 works fine.
Also found some threads pointing to ZoneAlarm Firewall, timeout handlers and some upload tools. I don't have ZoneAlarm so I don't think that was the cause, just another victim.
I wish Mozilla would pull the plug on 3.63, re-package 3.59 as 3.64 and go back to the drawing board until they find out whats wrong.
