Firefox tells me to update Adobe Reader and after I try to do that Adobe says I already have the most current version.
Firefox shows that my Adobe Reader needs to be updated to version 11.0.84 and when I try to do the Adobe Reader update, it tells me I already have it.
I also did a refresh of Firefox and I still have the same problem. I am using Windows XP SP3. I do not know what to do. Thank you. Please tell me what I should do next.

After updating the most current Firefox I now get Ads on the home page that I can't get rid of even with the "X" box on the window. I have to shut down Firefox and start over to get anywhere. I didn't have this problem before the update.
I also had a change to the new tab/page feature. I used to click for a new tab and a series of boxes would show where I've been so I can perhaps select one. That feature has changed and I now get a tab/page that says it is owned by AVG. Where is my old pageIf it opens in a new tab it is likely fake.

I have an iPod touch. When I try to download an app, it says I need to update the device's software to access the iTunes store. But, when i connect to iTunes, it says I have the most current version. I'm stuck. My mother got this iPod as free-with-purchase when she bought her desktop. She used it, then gave it to me. Could this be the problem? because she connected it to her iTunes and now it won't work on mine? When I first plugged it into my iTunes, it said the iPod was registered to another account and did I want to sync it with my account, to which I said yes. So far, this iPod has been useless to me because I can't download any apps to it. Help, please.

My phone is not showing up in itunes. I want to sync it. I have a MAC and I have restarted the phone, it's charged, I have the most current version of itunes. What do I do now? It says to reinstall itunes if you have windows but not for mac. Help!
With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

the popup window is titled "Software Update" and the text says "it is strongly recommended that you apply this update for Firefox as soon as possible." There is a hotlink "View more information about this update", which doesn't appear to be active, and a series of back/next/cancel buttons. If next is selected, I get a "connecting to the update server" status bar, but it never connects or does anything else.

I have the most recent version, but people tell me...
I am using Windows 7 with the most recent version of skype. 7.4.0.102. Some people cannot add me to group chats, and in any group chat I am added in I cannot talk or see messages. The only chats I can talk in I have to make. 1 on 1 chat works fine. It says "Instant messaging isn't currently available. This may be resolved shortly once the chat has updated, or the other person may be using an older version of Skype which does not support calling and IM at the same time." Everyone in the chat says they have the most current version. I have tried everything, from reinstalling skype, making an entireley new skype, force updating, changing my internet explorer to several different versions, changing privacy settings, etc.
I also cannot download pictures with the newer update. A warning sign comes up and says "This photo is unavailable."I'm having the exact same problem and can't figure out how to solve it.

I recently updated my Firefox to version 6.0. When it re-opened after installation there was a message that I didn't have the most recent version. I ran the update set-up again but got the same message. I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it from a fresh download but it's still happening.

used to be firefox and hulu got along just fine, never had my computer get retarded slow or any of the other things its currently doing while there's a tab open with hulu... but here lately its been eating the snot outta my processor (between firefox.exe and plugin container the two are consistently using 100% of my processor... most of it being firefox.exe itself)
and tonight i cant watch hulu at all. the video shows a frame then its another 10-15 seconds before another single frame is showed.

this happens anytime i'm in the part of hulu that has the player for showing whatever episode i'm attempting to watch. when i attempt to watch hulu i have no other tabs open and no other excess programs running on my computer, and firefox+plugincontainer run my CPU to 100% just between those two processes. i can browse around the internet just fine (like checking my email, or even getting to my queue list on hulu, which i have my homepage set as.. the queue list loads fine but the player part of hulu is when things go to crap)
and i just tried the exact same episode of lie to me that i couldnt watch on firefox.... tried watching it on internet explorer and its playing perfextly fine EVEN WHILE FIREFOX IS OPEN.

You need to remember that AdobeFlash is proprietary software licensed by a commercial Company. Some of that software may be free to use.
Flash should work well with Google Chrome as it is tightly integrated with that browser.

Hello- I recently upgraded to OS Mountain Lion on my iMac and cannot download the most current version of Adobe Flash Player. I even uninstalled the old Flash version but this did not resolve the issue. Could somebody please assist? Thank you.
Hello- I was able to resolve the issue after clicking on the top right hand corner that shows the recent downloads (it has that down arrow). I realized that I had tried downloading the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager about 7 times, but still needed to click on the file and install! So I erased all the duplicates and installed one of the Flash Player Install Managers and it finally worked! Yay!

When I start iPhoto it says the library needs to be updated and when I try to do that it says that the program is in use or unreadable. This is the the first time I have ever launched it. What do I do? It keeps going around in circles. I have tried re-starting the computer and re-launching the program holding down the option-command keys. Neither helped.
What version of iPhoto are you using?
This is the the first time I have ever launched it.
Does that mean there are no photos in the library? If so move it to the Trash bin in the Dock and launch iPhoto again.
If there are photos in the library do the following:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button,
and select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.
