Firefox versions after 3.0 doesn't render/display admin product's categories selection in outline format in Magento Commerce
Using Magento Commerce 1.2 with Firefox v 3.0.19, and going in to edit a product in the admin, you are able to select the product categories you want the product to show in. The categories show up in outline format (subcategories are indented below the parent categories). However in Firefox versions after 3.0.19, the categories no longer show in outline format. Instead parent categories and subcategories are listed directly below each other, making it hard to distinguish which is a main/parent category and which is a subcategory.

Hello,
I have a computer that was running Firefox version 3.05, now doesn’t run. I upgraded firefox to 15.0.1 with no change. When Firefox is started, I get the attached message.
Unable to connect.
Firefox is unable to connect to the server at comcast.net.
The computer is a HP Pavilion is Pentium 4 CPU at 2.80 GHz with 1.50GB of RAM.
The operating system is Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002, Service Pack 3.
The Harddrive is 143GB with 62.7GB used and 80.7GB free.

Ken HardyA possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

The wheel of my mouses (i tried with two) doesn't work on Firefox versions after 3.6
It started when i installed Firefox 4. The center wheel of the mouse doesn't work (can click but not shift the webpages). Now i have the 6th version of Firefox and the problem continues. I tried with another mouse (one that i tested with another computer and i know that works) but nothing.
I unninstalled Firefox, restarted the pc, clean the registry with ccleaner and installed it again (a clean installation, not an update like the other times), but nothing again.
Today my brother show me that login in windows with his account (instead of using mine) this problem that not happen, is only in mine (we have both admin accounts).
My OS is Windows 7 64 bits.Try this one: in about:config find general.autosrcoll and put it to TRUE if there is false.

Firefox version 4.0.1 doesn't allow me to keep signed in to Yahoo. How do I correct this?
It used to be that when I closed my browser that Yahoo would remember me, so the next time I opened it with Yahoo as my home page, I was automatically logged in. Now I have to log in every time I open my browser. Furthermore, when I try to move about in Yahoo, it will ask me again for my user name & password.
I can go to the IE browser right now, and Yahoo will remember me...I don't like IE.Please check this out: [[Username and password not remembered]].

that little "&" sends the conky process to the background freeing up the current process (your autostart.sh script) to finish doing what it's doing so you can move on to running openbox itself. with this in mind, it should be obvious why keeping conky in the foreground would cause problems.
also, replacing it with (sleep 1 && conky) & means... wait a second, when that's done successfully (&&) run conky, and put all of that () to the background. that way openbox comes up immediatly and only a second later you've got your panel and monitor.

Why won't firefox start after updating to version 6.02
When I try to open Firefox,An XUL Runner dialog box opens, and gives comment of:

And that is all I get. I click OK, the box closes, and firefox doesn't open. Only started after new firefox version automatically installed.

Facebook (FB) recently restructured their website. After logging on to my FB homepage, some of the graphics are garbled and I am no longer able to post status updates, comment on friend's status updates or pictures, or post pictures using Firefox version 2.0.0.20. I would like to know if there is a newer version of Firefox that will function with a Mac G3 Blue and White desktop running OS 10.3.9 which will be compatible with the new FB? I would upgrade my computer, but have 22+ years of business and tax records that will not function with the newer Mac OS.

Please can you help me with this?
Currently I am running Firefox version 6.0.2 on my Windows 7 Enterprise OS Desktop.
When I try to update Firefox, installations completes successfully. However when trying to launch Firefox, browser window is not opened. It was showing a 'Firefox failed to start' error message for versions before 11. For the latest version i.e 11, no error messages are displayed. When trying to launch application, no browser window is opened, but I can see Firefox process running in Task Manager. I tried to do a clean install by removing all add-ins and also deleting Firefox folder under program files. It did not solve the problem.

ChandraOk, well let's try going straight to what the problem probably is, a corrupted profile.
Can you please read [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Managing-profiles], and create a new testing profile? Start Firefox 6 up using the new profile, then close it. After you've done that, upgrade to Firefox 11, and try starting, again using the new profile. If everything works, then you just had a corrupted profile, and you can read [[Recovering important data from an old profile|Recovering important data from an old profile]], which explains how to transfer your data from your old one to your new profile.

How to print any web page to PDF in Windows 7 after Firefox version 8?
Some web pages do not print to PDF after Firefox Version 8. The result is either incomplete PDF or the print progress stops at some point and Firefox is stuck. For example the following web page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Lincoln prints to PDF with Firefox Version 8, but it does not print with any version of Firefox newer than 8. Note that the latest version of Acrobat Professional produced the same results as well as other PDF generating tools such as "FreePDF XP" and "Bullzip". Also the same web page on this same machine does print from within Internet Explorer. However using Internet Explorer is not a solution for our needs.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

With Firefox 7 my computer is slower to boot up and shut down. When typing the website I want in the address bar the old firefox took me straight to the site now it takes me to Google.
