Firefox will display hotmail e-mail inbox, but will not open them

Firefox will be able to load Hotmail and display your inbox- but will not respond when clicking on any emails, options like new and reply, or junk mail and other folders. The mouse works fine with all other programs and Hotmail runs as normal on other browsers, making it a seemly Firefox only problem.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

There are other things that need your attention.
Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update.

According to your description, my understanding is that you could not edit documents with Office client application in SharePoint 2010.
Let’s do a troubleshooting about this issue:
1. Make sure that you have installed Office application on your machine.
2. Which explorer did you use for your SharePoint. Please test it with IE 10 32-bit, compare the result.
3. Please try to reset IE, compare the result.
4. Add your SharePoint site into Trusted site on your IE options.
5. Make sure all add-ons related to SharePoint are enable, special for SharePoint OpenDocument Class and SharePointOpenXMLDocuments.
6. Since you used OWA for your SharePoint site, please try to disable OWA, then open documents with client application, compare the result.

Mail starts, but does not open.

The top bar is available, with most functions, like "New Message" grayed out. Tried tossing out preferences, but did not work. I've restarted multiple times to no avail. Please help.

I don’t understand what you say about having seen the same problem in another thread.
Problems arising right after installing a system update are usually the result of some filesystem corruption that should have been fixed first, or not having installed the update properly (e.g. applications running while installing it), or having ignored Apple’s "Important: Please read before installing" warnings, etc.
Verify/repair the startup disk (not just permissions), as described here:
The Repair functions of Disk Utility: what's it all about?
After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, reinstall any updates that may not have been installed properly. You may also have to reinstall the Combo Update for the type of computer and the version of Mac OS X you’re using (actually, if you’ve reinstalled Mail, you have to also reinstall the Combo Update anyway), unless this is the version of Mac OS X that came with your computer:

Basically, you should verify/repair the startup disk before installing the update, no applications should be running while installing it, and you may experience unexpected results if you have third-party system software modifications (not normal applications) installed.

Are you asking about iPhoto on your Mac? This is the iPhoto on IOS devics forum.
What is your iPhoto version? And what happened to delete your photos?
Do you mean, you see the images in your iPhoto library, when you are browsing them, but you cannot edit them?
Then probably the original master image files are no longer there, but the previews are. If you are using iPhoto '11 you can see the Previews inside the iPhoto Library in the folder "Previews", when you ctrl-click the iPhoto Library and select "Show Package Contents".

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

HT1694 Frozen Mail App Allows Mail Download But Does Not Open Mail

Ok, i have the ipad 3 and i am not sue which ios 5 version i have but i nknow I am current on my updates. Regardless, the mail app locks up after updating for mail. It shows new mail, but when I click on the mail or any other buttons within the app nothing will occur.
Basically the app just downloads new mail and freezes up.

Try:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset : Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Delete the account from the iPad and recreate the account
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPad.

You would re-install Palm DT 4.1.4, then rename the .dat file to .old in each folder Datebook, Calendar, Too do's, and Memos under your user name in C:\Program Files\Palm\ [your Palm user name (similar)] . Quit the maill app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account >Mail>Off. Restart the iPad and go back to settings and turn mail on again and see if that works.
Or try this as well ....Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

On you iPad, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it on eby one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPad:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, check and see if this resolves the issue.

I don't know about the systems, but is your phone on wireless and your other device on wireless? Then I think they would mutually update.
Howerver the previous response from ckuan sounds much more informed so I would check that out.
