Firefox will not display the complete pages on pretty much all websites

I'm only seeing partial pages. I can tell because we have two other computers in the house and their web pages have a lot more content than mine do. What little mine shows looks complete, but it leaves out a lot of menus and graphics and whatnot.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*You can inspect and manage all permissions on the about:permissions page, via the location bar.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

  • On my Windows 7 PC, the iTunes Store will not display the Home Page or search anything

My iTunes Store does not work on my Windows 7 PC. The progress bar shows accessing Store for a few seconds, but then just a blank screen where the Home Page should be.

Try working through TS1717: iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues to start with.
Otherwise, for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Why won't launchpad will not display the second page?

I can see the first page. But when I attempt to see the second page, by swiping with two fingers or hitting the tiny dot, the second page appears for a moment, but then returns to the first page. I have tried closing all my open applications. This is new behavior. I have Mtn Lion.

Same problem here. only i'm on page 2 and it won't let me stay on page 1 long enough to click on any of my apps there

  • Firefox will not display videos since Yosemite migration

    Good day!
I run an early 2011 15" MacBook Pro, 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7 with 4g 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory, and an Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384 Mo. Firefox is 34.0.5.
Since I migrated to Yosemite (10.10.1), the browser I use (Firefox) will not display the videos, but plays the sound out of them...
I tried to clear the PRAM (NVRAM) with the Command (⌘), Option, P, and R, but it doesn't work. I even tried to shut down the graphic acceleration option in Firefox, to no avail...
What else should I do? Any solution out there?
Thanks, and Merry Christmas to you all!
    Martin

  • Updated to the latest revision. Firefox will not display my chosen home page without clicking on home icon.

Since latest update...Firefox will not allow a new page to be opened from a link in a current page. It will allow a new tab to be opened (with tabbed browsing checked) but i prefer a new page. Even in tabbed browsing links to things like a pdf will not work at all.
Firefox WILL NOT close. X-ing out will close the window but I can not get back to Firefox without closing it in task manager.

  • Firefox will not display on the screen even though with Process Explorer I see Firefox.exe active but no CPU usage

I use Firefox v10.0.2 as default browser on Dell XPS8300 e/w Intel Core i5 & Windows 7 Ultimate and Compaq Presario CQ57 e/w Intel Core i3 & Windows 7 Home. More frequently on the (about 90% of attempts) than the Dell (50% of attempts) Firefox will not display to the screen when I click on icon. When it happens I cannot display other programs. I specifically say display because I believe Firefox has started. To circumvent the problem I installed Process Explorer on both machines and start this program first then click on Firefox icon. When problem occurs I can see Firefox.exe process in Process list; some CPU consumed but, then, no CPU activity. If I click on Firefox icon again another process opens in Process list but with same response - some CPU consumed and then no CPU activity. If I have 2 processes running and kill the 1st process, the 2nd will display and everything from then on is normal. If I do not open a 2nd process but kill the 1st process then click on Firefox icon Firefox is displayed and everything from then on is normal. This problem has occurred since original installation on both new machines. I've updated video drivers in both machines.

Ok, let's see if we can fix this and get it working for you!
First, if you start Firefox in [[safe mode|safe mode]] (restart your computer first, then when you open Firefox, hold down the shift key) does it start up more reliably? This is usually caused by a faulty add-on. If it does help, then restart Firefox, go into the Firefox button, then add-ons, and disable your extensions one by one until you find the trouble maker.
Also, try updating to Firefox 11, it has several bug fixes that might make life easier here.
Just as a few basic troubleshooting steps to make sure we have all the bases covered,
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): [http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/].
Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://www.malwarebytes.org/]. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. you can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

  • My printer will not print the web pages using firefox...how do I set it up to print a web page?

I have an hp photosmart c4180 printer and it will not print the web pages in firefox...how exactly do I set up FF so I can print web pages? I will need step by step instruction also on exactly where to go to set it up.

Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock), then open Print & Scan
Click the + button at the bottom of the printer list
If your printer appears....not all printers are supported....click on the name to highlight it
Click the Add button to install the printer at the AirPort Express location
Try to print. You must choose the correct printer at the AirPort Express location since the printer is "installed" at other locations on your network.
If you open Print & Scan again, and select the printer at the AirPort Express, there is an option to make the printer the "default" location, so you do not have to choose which location to select when you want to print.

  • Some PDF files and other emails do not display the whole page. Is there a way to change that?

Some PDF files and other emails do not display the whole page. Is there a way to change that?

If an app does not behave as expected, try closing the app completely and reboot the iPad. It appears as though you have the original iPad. It helps if you list your iPad model and the iOS that you are running.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • Firefox will not display basic content on certain (common) sites

    Hi there:
On certain websites (common) ones Firefox will not display options on the website.
These sites include Yahoo Mail, Twitter, Weebly.
An example would be if there is a menu of choices such as delete, ad, tweet, etc. instead of displaying correctly it looks like a box with 4 dots.
The other browsers are fine. I have the latest Firefox and this started with the previous version as well. I uninstalled/reinstalled without change.
    Windows 7 Computer/Norton Anti Virus.
If allowed I can upload a screen shot.
    Thank you.

    > But I really don't want to allow all sites to use
    > their own fonts, just, in this case, Twitter.
Exactly. It's not a very good solution to be forced to give up control/accessibility on every Web site, to fix a problem with just a few popular ones like Twitter.
It seems like a pathetic accessibility fail on the part of Yahoo, Twitter, etc., but since the practice is likely to persist and spread, please, Firefox:
=> allow site-specific configuration of "allow pages to choose their fonts."

  • Firefox is not displaying the correct font color on my blog, but other browsers are.

I have a web designer issue. Firefox is not displaying the correct font color on the header in my blog. Explorer, Chrome, and Safari have no problems. The page is in css but this particular section has html code o designate color. The code is as follows:
    <font face="helvetica" color="FF9966" size="1">blog</font>
Though all other browsers display the light orange color designated, Firefox displays white. Strangely, if if retype the code by spelling out a color, Firefox displays it correctly. i.e.
    <font face="helvetica" color="black" size="1">blog</font>
... will give me black. You can see the effect by viewing the link below and looking at the word "blog" in the header, which should be light orange but is not in Firefox.

Actually it also seems to work in the current Firefox 4 beta as it is.
The code is not right though - the correct syntax for the color attribute with hex values is with a # at the start, so:
    color="#FF9966"
It might work in Firefox 3.x if you change that.

  • Firefox will not load to home page. Loads to last page. Tried ALL fixes. Ready to go to chrome unless you can fix.

Firefox will not open to home page. I have read all the articles, and tried all the fixes. Safe mode, complete reinstall...everything. Firefox has way to many of these issues. Can you help?

First step in troubleshooting - what have you tried ("all the fixes" isn't enough information)
Start with the basics. For example, have you done this:
    # Click: Menu > Options > General
    # Set "When Firefox starts:" to "Show my home page"
    # Set "Home Page" to whatever website you want Firefox to load when it starts.
    # Click OK
    See also: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page
    Does this work?
If no, have you tried this? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save You may simply need to reset Firefox.
