Firefox will not keep me logged into my yahoo mail or yahoo home page

I can log into my homepage, then go to a news article or something else, hit the back or home button to go back to my home page and it wants me to log in again. Same thing with yahoo mail. This happens about 60% of the time. Sometimes it does take my back to my home page or mail accoount.

this was the link that was sent to my e-mail address. When I clicked on it it tried to use Firefox to connect me to the link but Firefox would not let me log in. Your GMail email is on Google's server, so you should find the same messages there that you saw before. However, any bookmarks, saved passwords, etc. that you did not sync with Weave or another solution that backs up your settings to some place on the web would need to be rescued from your old computer.

Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it jiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.

Will not let me log into my account on some websites

Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing a new problem with the iPad mini I only bought yesterday.
Everything is set up, verified etc but on Safari it will not let me log into some websites e.g. Missguided. Speaking to their customer serviced their website is totally fine so must be something wrong with my Ipad?
Can someone please help me as I don't want this to happen every time I try logging into an account online?

Apple TV will not let me log into iTunes Store

Hi, Any help appreciated! I have just purchased an Apple TV and it will not connect to my iTunes Store, it gives me the message "User Name or Password Incorrect" but they are NOT, I can log into the store through the Macbook without any problems, I have tried friends accounts and get the same message, Been on the phone to support for 2 hours NO HELP!

Add me to the list. I just bought mine & can't log onto the Apple Store to rent/purchase. I can on my MBP.
I've had the same thing happen when I tried to enter my YouTube username & password. It wouldn't accept it. I thought it was a fluke w/YouTube. Apparently not so.
So, I can't buy or rent movies/TV shows. Exactly why do I want this gadget?
How about an update on the Apple site that just recognizes these problems & promise a fix?

I installed Spyware Doctor with antivirus and Firefox will not open but goes into Not Responding mode

Privacy settings have not changed, but Firefox 18 is keeping me logged into facebook

I work for a FB game developer, and as a result I need to wipe cookies/cache in my browsers frequently. I have had Firefox set up to delete cookies when Firefox closes. This prevented me from staying logged into Facebook after closing Firefox. After upgrading to Firefox 18.0.2, I remain logged into my Facebook account even though I have not changed the cookie settings, nor have I selected the "keep me logged in" option on Facebook. Why has this behavior started and how do I make it stop if my settings haven't changed?

Firefox will not keep igoogle as my home page. I have done all of the steps to do so but every time I log off and then comeback, google is gone. This is a new problem; igoogle on Firefox has been my homepage for years.

Firefox always opens after booting up my computer in the morning. However, if I log off of Firefox and attempt to open it again it will not open without rebooting the computer first.

Use the [[profiles|Profile Manager]] to create a new profile. If the problem goes away, you can then [[Recovering important data from an old profile|move]] your bookmarks and other important settings into the new profile.

Firefox is not keeping me "logged in" on certain sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Netflix.

Every time I open Firefox and go on Facebook I have to log in. I am on a private desktop so I am not worried about other users. This goes for everything: Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo Mail and other sites.

Alright, well again I was able to resolve this on my own. Not sure how though.
I started accepting the "Do you want to store this password..." requests and they started to stick finally. Facebook stays logged in now, even after quitting Safari. I've just upgraded to 10.5.8 and Safari 4.03, everything seems to be fine (knock wood). Marking this SOLVED for now.

Firefox will not load either Google, or my AOL mail

When I type in http://www.google.com, the site will not load.
Also, when I am signed in on http://www.aol.com , if I click the mail icon, my mail page will not load.

This sort of thing generally happens when you are not getting on line. Try another url, or try another browser and see if that is the problem.

Hi 1st time asking a ?. Like my ? above. I have been using firefox for a long time and never had a problem that's why its my !st time asking a ?'s here. I'm using windows 8.1 Lenovo laptop and this has just started 4 days ago. I shut down firefox and the next day I started laptop and opened firefox and I noticed every extension I had set up were all gone from browser and the get extensions page were all gone in the get more extensions add on page area. So I re added all of them to set up the browser the way I liked for years and it worked OK. Then when I re-started the computer and they were all gone again? Its driving me crazy why this is happening. And I do have the latest firefox. I even uninstalled browser and re add them all Ext's and then on next start up were all gone again.
And the reason its my 1st time asking a ?'s is because to help others, I am a 56 year old & I'm a 100% disabled army Vet. and I don't know enough about fixing my own computer problems to help any 1 else asking to help them fix any thing.
OH theres 1 more thing, every time I have to re-install the Ext's and when I turn off laptop and turn back on then re add the Ext's again I noticed in Ccleaner in the firefox tab all of the Ext's that are gone from the browser are all there and I can not delete them either in Ccleaner! Please explain in easy to follow steps how to fix this so I can use firefox again? Thanks for any and all help?

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the extensions.* files (e.g. extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled or not compatible extensions in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left end of the Search bar to check if there is a compatibility update available.
There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes.
If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

Using firefox will not let me sign into revel

while using elements12, firefox wont let me accces my revel account to upload to an album. It states the security certificate is not valid and warns me not to sign in...this has happened in the last 2 days. can someone let me know what to do?

Since you mention firefox I assume you're trying to login to the website. Can you try logging in at https://www.adoberevel.com -- we recently discovered an issue with our certificate that prevents a redirect from "https://adoberevel.com" to the "www" version, and would lead to a certificate warning like you're describing. If you're still seeing a certificate issue at "https://www.adoberevel.com", can you let us know what OS you're on and make sure that you've installed the latest OS updates. While unlikely, this could indicate something malicious, so definitely don't log in unless the warning goes away -- if it's still there we'll want to get some additional details for our security team.
