It started a year ago when I opened Firefox I got an error message, so I removed firefox & re-installed it. Still no go! So I opened "C" drive & searched for anything "firefox" & found a 2002 version!! I deleted everything, restart, & installed firefox and what I get now is what you see above.
OS is XPpro, sp3 + many updates.

Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I suggest you download a fresh copy from getthunderbird.com and reinstall. I do not know what has caused it, but a reinstall should refresh the files and fix it.

You can manage automatic updates in '''tools > options > advanced > update'''. The version numbers quoted imply there's an add-on that has compatibility problems, so you can turn off the check for add-ons and leave the rest as is.
If you hit upon problems with the add-on, then have a look at the '''tools > add-on''' pages. There could well be a better replacement for the add-on you have been using so far.

Hi. I've had an iPad 2 for over a year and have never been able to sync it with my pc. I've tried reinstalling windows twice, resetting the iPad back to factory etc. this means that I can't update because it doesn't have the latest iOS which allows you to update via wifi.

Printers and scanner not compatable with Mini w/Lion?

I've just had my Mini running Lion for a few days and am impressed with it (my first Mac). However I have been trying in vain to load printer drivers for my Epson R800 printer and my Epson V500 scanner. I have visited both this site and Epson's but have not had any success getting any to work. Basically I'm informed that they are not supported. Any help for a new Mac person will be greatly appreciated.

Usually that means you have content, such as apps or media, on the mobile device that was acquired from Apple under a different Apple ID than the one you're using with iTunes. The only way out is to remove that content, or else to sign in to the iTunes Store with the other ID.

I have Firefox instaled on D: disc because my system crashed and after reinstaling OS on C: disc i haven't insatled it but just just used old one just moved to D: disc.
So my only problem is that I wont to get a hold of unbackuped bookmarks in that Firefox, and then one can instal Firefox4.

After accepting the new update I got this error message when trying to restart Firefox:

- Opening in Safe Mode; same error
- Uninstalling, deleting remaining info in C>ProgramFiles>MozillaFirefox folder, and reinstalling.
- Updating Avast antivirus in case that was interfering.
Now when I try to start Firefox I get this message;
Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.
But there is nothing happening in the Windows Task Manager. Please, somebody save me from Windows Internet Explorer!!

Problem connecting to internet via Firefox as XUL Runner Error Platform version is not compatible with minVersion 1.9.2.16 max version 1.9.2.16

Firfox requested to update previous version to new version of which i allowed. After installation complete i tried to connect to the internet and was denied with a following error window appearing. As explained above i shall explain again as shown in the error window.

If using Zone Alarm's browser virtualization or any other similar product or a sand-boxing program (i.e., Sandboxie), turn it off when updating Firefox or Firefox Add-ons. You can post on the forum for any such product that you might be using to get other instructions on the proper use of the product.

If you use ZoneAlarm Extreme Security then try to disable Virtualization.
