Firefox will not open just say it has crased and to send a report.

I downloaded AVG 2011 and now Fire Fox will not run it says that it has crashed and sends a report, it will not open at all.

The latest version of Firefox is 13.0.1; it appears that you are using Firefox 12.

I restored my computer to earlier time and I did an other restore but to latest time and since then every time I click on Firefox short cut this window comes up with the same cod and I can not turn it off unless turn off or restart my laptop, I did delete the Firefox few times and reinstalled it but did not change anything, still I get the same cod,

Some how I solved my problem by opening a user account and downloading Firefox 4.0 beta and installing it, I did try it, worked fine, so I did close the user account and did go back to my own account(switched user), the main page that I had problem with Firefox which would not open, I dabble click on Firefox it start working again!! I hope that solves your problem too.

Dreamweaver cc will not open, msg says it has quit working

I am on windows 7 After three days of no dreamweaver I uninstalled and then reinstalled thru the creative cloud.
Unfortunately the same error message is coming up. Just says it has quit working..
I tried going to the internet options, settings, for Lan and unchecked the use proxy, and checked auto detect has has been told in here, but did not help.
after that I went to OObe file in appdaa and removed the .db file that was also told on here to be another thing to do.
IAs I am still getting same error Adobe Dreamweaver cc has quit working.
Notes: I checked other CC apps, like AI and DW CS6 and fireworks all opened in normal window as expected, so this is peculiar to Dreamweaver cc. I hope I have given enough info for some bright forumn expert to help me.
I have enjoyed the crfeative cloud, and the price is ok, but if its just going to go away and no one seems to know what to do, I am at a loss.

sorry but I really have to resist. As strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try - like you did by using Windows alone- to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

Firefox will not open certain websites, unless I close and restart the browser. Anyone hear of this ?

Some webpages, for example newegg.com, will not open at all. But if I close ff and then restart ff - newegg.com will load up almost instantly. Yahoo's pages have problems as well - especially if there is a video with a news article. Many times - there simply wont even be a placeholder. I will read the article - and then realize there should be a video accompanying it - I'll have to view in IE - which I hate.

I can press ctrl for a new tab but otherwise a new tab does not open. I actually need help regarding this new Synch which apparently will be in Firefox automatically in an upcoming version so I am asking how that will synch with people who use LastPass-of course because I use this very successfully and really am not eager to change the set up that I have in place at this time.
I have read through endless FAQ trying to find anyone else who has this question or concern but have found nothing. Firefox will not open until Windows Firewall has opened at startup. A slow process and slows Firefox in Starting. Can this be corrected?

Since installing Firefox the start up time for the computer has greatly increased as Windows Firewall has to be started before Firefox can open. Very annoying and can this problem be corrected?

Firefox does this for security purposes. I do not recommend attempting to "fix" this.

First check to see if QUicktime works as iTunes can't work without it.
If Quicktime doesn't work describe what happens with any error messages in full.
Also head for your control panel and try to run quicktime preferences - give any error message in full.

Firefox will not open at all on macbook pro and then crashes mac entirely.

My firefox wont open when I've clicked the icon, though there is a little blue light underneath it. I've installed and re-installed it and still not working. When I do click the icon in the dock my entire macbook freezes and I have to manually restart it. You won't want Firefox to be a .exe file, thats for windows. Make sure its extension is .app. You can do this by going to Finder>Applications>Firefox>the right click and click the "Get Info" button. Then, about halfway down will be the file name with the extension. Change it to Firefox.app if it is not already like that.

I can't open firefox. I click the icon, my cursor shows Firefox is loading, then nothing happens, the screen remains the same.

Hi Iekard.
Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to see if the firefox.exe process is running. If it is, terminate it and try to run Firefox again.
If that doesn't help, try running Firefox in safe mode. If it works like that, maybe it'll work again in normal mode.
