FireFox will not start due to message indicating that ssl3.dll is missing and indeed it is not in the program files. But I can not seem to be able to reinstall Firefox or to copy the ssl3.dll file into the program files. Help?

Webroot identified ssl3.dll as a threat and deleted it. Now I can not start Firefox, nor can I copy ssl3.dll into the Firefox Program file. I tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, but it always shows as an upgrade and does not seem to add ssl3.dll. HELP?

1. Open Webroot
2. Click on PC Security
3. Click on the Quarantine tab
4. Select ssl3.dd
5. Click restore

My Itunes library deleted all my music except two of the songs I bought from the store. They're all still on my phone, but I can't seem to be able to move them all back. I can get the music back another way, but I want to prevent it from happening again.

I'm not sure why it deleted everything. I had rearranged and cleaned up my desktop earlier, but I know for a fact I didn't delete anything. I had over four hundred songs and they're all gone. I can put all the music back on because I have it saved elsewhere, but I want to prevent this from happening again. okay I've done everything regarding the transfer process (via file>transfer purchases) and syncing, so everything on my iPhone device seems to have been transferred to my iMac... however, I still get that message ("There are purchased items on the iPhone..."), trying to upgrade the iOS Have tried several times the same process of hitting transfer purchases via file, but nothing seems to make that message go away! Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
If no joy after that, try the more rigorous uninstall/reinstall procedure from the following post. (If you've got XP, although the procedure is for Vista and 7, just read "Computer" as "My Computer", read "Uninstall a program control panel" as "Add or Remove programs control panel" and assume the system is 32-bit, and you'll be doing the right things.)

You'll want to fix this via the online system you used to create the PDF.
If all content mastering and page configuration is done online then that is where you must make a correction to what you did before.
If a file is uploaded to the online system for processing then you must revisit that file.
Open the file with its native application and correct page size there.
If you upload a scanned image to the online system you must configure the scanner software to output the needed page size.

Jeff, I looked at your link and
a) again, I never make it to an error code
b) I'm definitely connected to the internet
c) I can access secure sites; I tried connecting with the firewall disabled and the same thing happened, so I don't believe it's a firewall issue.
d) I don't understand the checking host sites - this is far too complicated for a novice user. It should not be this difficult to get a software running. I don't want to mess with these kinds of settings.
e) I followed the steps for the global sign in root CA and my screen looks the same as the picture here.
I can't activate the software offline as there is no option to generate a response code when I click on having trouble connecting to the internet. All I get is a prompt to change my password.
If the problem were simply connectivity from my computer, then why does the box completely freeze? Can't cancel, can't click on the little X to close it, can't right click on the box to close it. I have to reboot every single time. I know others have had the same problem and I haven't found any answers that I could apply.

Messages like that are almost always phishing, and are not actually from Apple. Changing password does not affect it, since they can still send you the same email.

NB hp is a relatively new machine and has previously backed up quite happily.

Try rebooting the iPad. Hold down both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. It takes a minute or two to restart.
Also be sure your iPad battery is not completely discharged.
