Firefox window disappears off my screen

I hve uninstalled and reinstalled firefox. The icon is in the toolbar. It shows that the screen is open but I can not open it on my monitor. It disappears to the top right corner. I have been using firefox for years and not it doesnt work.

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode:
*On Windows, hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox with a double-click on the Firefox desktop shortcut
*On Mac, hold down the Options key while starting Firefox
*Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
*https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Safe+Mode
Try to open the system menu of that Firefox window via Alt+Space and see if you can move and resize that window (use the keyboard cursor keys).
If that works then first close all other open Firefox windows and then close Firefox via "File > Exit/Quit" to save that setting.
If the above didn't help then see:

Hi maggiejones400,
As always, you can download iTunes from the Apple website:

• The entire window went off the screen to the right, can see icon at bottom but when I click on it it zips off to the right.

I was working in Firefox and clicked on something which made the entire window flash off to the right, unable to be seen. The Firefox icon is available at the bottom but when I click it, it sends the screen off to the right. Click on icon again and it will take it from "off the screen" back into the icon. I tried restarting with no change. It only affects one user on the computer.

• Top and bottom of FireFox window disappear in seconds (the window expands too far). All other windows operate normally. Now what? I've uninstalled and reinsta

I was using Firefox for a few years with great enjoyment. Recently I opened it and within a second or so, it enlarged to the point that the top and bottom of the screen expanded off the screen. No other windows in any other program are doing this. The only way to close it is by using the task manager. Very frustrated. What other info do you need?

Hi ConnieHampton,
FIrefox will remember the last window size you had, which is why it keeps opening too large each time you open and close it. To fix this, try resetting Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/changes-toolbars-and-window-sizes-are-not-saved?esab=a&s=resize+window&r=7&as=s
If you don't see your menu bar, you may be in full screen mode, and can turn it off by following these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-make-firefox-and-websites-go-full-screen?esab=a&s=full+screen&r=0&as=s
If this doesn't work, please let us know and we'll figure out another way to fix it.

• MacBook Pro Display (window) shifts off the screen when I move my mouse

With a slight move with my magic mouse, my entire open window will shift completely off the screen with only a part of the window still visible. I have to click on the exposed edge of the window for it to shift back into place. It's only the window of the program that I have open that moves. The dock and the desktop image stays in place. I'm using an HP external monitor now but it was doing this before I hooked up the monitor. I've tried maximizing and minimizing my window but that does not seem to have an effect. Could it be the magic mouse? Thanks in advance for any help.

Wow. The power of Google is truly amazing. Just a little while ago, my husband was going nuts with our computer. I googled the words 'when I move my mouse to the left, the screen moves to the right'. And, Eureka! What do you think was the first thing that popped up on Google?
Well, the answer to my question, of course!:P Which led me right to here. It may not have been me that asked the question, but this did answer MY question!
Apparently this applies to Leopard too. Thanks alot!

• My imovie opens in the dock, but then disappears off the screen - top right hand side, What's happening?

Hi
iMovie opens in the dock, but then seems to disappear off to the top right hand side of the screen and I can't find a way of recovering it? Suggestions please

Hi
If You press cmd+tab keys (cmd = the one with a cringle) (tab = left side keyboard third row big arrow pointing to the right)
By keeping cmd-key down and stepping with tab-key You can see if the iMovie symbol show up. then release.
Did it come back ?

• Firefox window spins around the screen

Hello:
I made a typing mistake while using the Firefox web page, made a typing mistake, and tried to backspace the error. However the Firefox window spun around on the screen a couple of times, then stopped.
I wasn't able to see it happen again. I am running version 19.0.2
Have you seen this reported before? Do I have an issue with a virus? I am running McAfee Security SiteAdviser, and it is current. It did not find an issue on its last scan.
Thank-you
Derrick Williams

Hello:
Thank-you for the information. I don't go into questionable web pages. The last web page I had looked at was the London Gazette and was looking at information from WW2.
http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/search
I had checked McAfee SiteAdvisor before entering the site, and selected a link to view a list of published medals (070409 Medal Start Dates.doc).
I haven't had the issue again - I ran a full scan after it happened. I will contact McAfee Support and see if I can verify that my Security software has not been compromised.
Thanks again.

I am having the same issue. I am using CS6, and my 'Effects' box is off the screen and unusable. I have tried resetting the workspace, changing the workspace, restarting the program, rebooting the system, switching between multiple and single monitor....all with no effect. The dialog box is always in the same place; in the upper left of the screen. Any further help would be appreciated.

FIXED: As soon as I posted this, I had a thought. While that dialog box was active, I went to System Preferences>Displays>Gather Windows. May or may not work for original poster.

• Find Window disappearing off top of screen

A colleague's find window is 'stuck' off the top of the screen! The lower part is visible.
Reset/change workspace doesn't help. We've also tried System Prefs - Display - Gather Windows but that didn't work either.
Googling suggests it's not a common problem! Any ideas?
Thanks!

• Outlook window moves off computer screen to right when I click to expand reading pane - can't reply to emails

Outlook 2010 opens fine. When I click on the reading pane to expand it to full screen it moves off the right of the screen.
Can't reply to emails as pane is not available. What do I need to do so pane comes up on the screen

Hi Rick,
Can you post a screenshot here so we can better understand your situation?
For your issue, please follow the steps below to narrow down the root cause:
Try reset view settings for your Outlook. In Outlook 2010, switch to
View tab, click Reset View button in the
Current View group.
Start Outlook with the command line Outlook.exe /resetnavpane, type the command line in the Run window and press Enter.
Start Outlook in safe mode to determine if it could be caused by the 3rd-party add-ins, to do so, type
Outlook.exe /safe in the Run window and press Enter. If the behavior won't occur in safe mode, try disable all the add-ins, and enable them one by one to find which one might cause this problem.
