Firefox won't let me select options from drop down menus, on the previous version nor on the current 4.0 version that I just downloaded.

If I am on a site and trying to get information etc, and I have to choose from a drop down menu of any kind, Firefox won't let me choose anything. I can't answer the next question regarding This Happened because I can't select from your drop down.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

You can get the value of selected from drop down as below
Check out the event handler method attached to Onselect event of the ui element drop down by index , if no event is associated, then create an event and attach to the drop down list
Now you will be having the CONTEXT_ELEMENT in the WDEVENT parameter
               data lo_element type ref to if_wd_context_element.
               lo_element = wdevent->get_context_element( name = 'CONTEXT_ELEMENT').
Now, you can get the static attribute value of selected drop down value & let us say your drop down list values are populated from context node 'ND_DRP_DOWN'
               data ls_data type wd_this->element_nd_drp_down.
                         lo_element->get_static_attributes(
                                   importing
                                   static_attributes = ls_data ).

Firefox won't let me open more than one window at a time. It use to allow me to open multiple windows before but for no apparent reason it stopped. I uninstalled it and re-installed but I'm having the same problem. How do I fix the problem

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

Must select name from Drop Down menu

I have a form that has two drop down menus. One of the menus
asks the user to "Select A Name" from the lst. What is happening is
that the user simply ignores the list and goes to the next field.
Is there any way to require that the user slect a name, and not
simply have the default title "SELECT A NAME" appear in the
completed form response?
Any help would be appreciated.

Drop Down Menu Selection - Make Other Drop Down Menus Visible

I am having some trouble with a simple if-else statement. When a certain selection is made in a drop down box, I would like two other drop down menus to appear. (At runtime, they are hidden.) The current problem is that when I try and select anything in the drop down menu, it will only allow me to select this one option. (If I try to select anything else, it reverts back to the same thing every time.) If I set the "if" statement to trigger for something else, then that option is all it will display and so on. I have made plenty of these types of scripts in other areas of this PDF, but I can't figure out why it isn't doing what I want it to now.
The "change" event is what I currently have this set to. I have also set it for the "enter" event with no change.

G5 Disk Utility won't let me select Options menu

I need to clean off my G5 to give it away. When I go to Disk Utilities, it won't allow me to select Options.

Phone reception HORRIBLE, have to select from drop down menus 2x and INTERNET now freezes and is VERY SLOW SINCE NK1 UPDATE a week ago, no problems prior

I have had my Note 3 since about 14 months now and have loved it until the last Verizon update. Since the update my reception is very poor / "breaks up" in my shop. This is the same shop I have been working in for 6 YEARS!!! Also when I select a drop down tab like a credit card month and make my selection it NEVER saves the 1st time, always have to do it 2x. The internet used to work great in my shop and could stream Pandora without an issue, now it take 2 minutes to load the first song.
I feel these simple software issues could make people feel the need to upgrade their phone even though there is nothing wrong with their current phone, pretty creative sales tactic if you ask me. All I want is my phone to work like it did prior to the 1/16/2015 update. If I have change my ways and run my off wifi everywhere like I had to back when I had Sprint I might as well switch to a cheaper provider.
My time is money and wasting time trying to make a phone work like it did before a software update is very frustrating. I have already gone to a Verizon store and was told to do a complete reset. I spent 2 hours saving everything to my cloud, reset the phone and the same problems still exist. Please help me find a solution to my problems ASAP

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

How to select Variable from Drop Down Queries - WAD 7.0

Hello All,
I've scenario where users will click on link and should see the default data of Daily and also have drop down box in the same web template where Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and others must be displayed so that user can switch back & forth between views.
my Monthly, Quarterly & others are views out of a Query however my daily & weekly are separate queries where variables are populated, so that user can enter desired number of days or weeks that he/she wants to see data for.
Question:: when I use drop down to switch from monthly to daily or weekly I'm not seeing the variable which should populate so that user can enter number of days/weeks.
Please let me know if there is a solution for this - Thanks in advance!!!!..

Hi,
Try checking the data you are viewing in the drop down box. It may help to look at posted values instead of master data (or vice versa). Try changing that and see if it makes a difference. Also, are your variables navigational? If not, they will act as filters and you won't be able to change when you run. Check these settings and hopefully they will give some direction.

Using selected items from drop-down list in rest of page

I hope I'm able to describe clearly what's the problem.
So I'm implementing a form for the moment. It contains a drop-down list. The user has to select one item from it and as a result another drop-down list on the same page needs to be filled with a couple of options. I wanna do this without refreshing the page, cos else I have to retrieve all the values from boxes that were allready filled in. Is it possible?

This cn be done with javascript. But you need to cache the data on first load of your jsp.

Populate a table field from selection made from drop down menu

I'm having a bit of head scratching problem that i just can't get my head around. I'm using Dreamweaver CS4
and phpmyadmin for my site.
I have a form that inputs a record into a table in my database.
The form is a user picking a fantasy sports team. A user selects a player from a drop down menu.
The players name is got from a recordset that accesses the player database, with the values coming
from the id field and the values from the name, so a user selects a player by there name and not
there unique id value. The code for this is as follows:

What i'm trying to achieve is that when a user selects a player from the drop down menu, their price is displayed in the table cell next to the menu. The value is held in the same table of database as the names and id values. I need to do it so the page doesn't need to be refreshed so i assume i need to use some sort of javascript, php and/or maybe ajax. However with java and ajax i have very little or no experience so i'm not really sure what i'm doing. I've been on numerous forums, looked in text books and have been searching the net for hours but i can't seem to solve this problem.
Any help or advice would really be appreciated as i just can't seem to get my head around it,

One way of doing it is submitting the form on change of the selected value and fetch back the query results. Have a servlet invoke the method and set the results in the request.
Another way (not recommended) is to fetch the results corresponding to all the values in the dropdown and have it in the session. The latter solution would obviously be slow.

Email Select People From Drop Down List

I am creating a form that sales reps fill out to go to one whole department and I have that all set with my email submit button.
However I also need to form to go to one of 5 others based off their names in a Drop down box for who is a manager for a certain region. Since all 5 don’t need to be copied on all form submissions I want our sales reps to be able to select their manager from the drop down list to ultimately add their email address in the CC field when the forms is submitted.
Is this possible?

if you don't know scripting, then you can use this macro (requires Desiger ES2 or ADEP Designer).
It will create the script for you.

My Alias Email Isn't an Option From Drop-Down + I Want to Change my Main Email Acct

Unfortunately phone support linked me here, so I hope to get a response.
Issue 1:
I have a main Apple ID which also serves as my main email account. Under this account, I have an alias. This alias does NOT show up under the drop-down options when sending mail from my MBP Mail app or iPhone 4.
Issue 2:
I do NOT want to use my Apple ID as my main email account. I want to replace it with my alias, (from issue 1). How can I do that?

In Mail, Contacts, Calendarts>Add Account
Add a MobileMe or Other?
If I choose MobileMe, it asks for my MobileMe account. If I enter that info, it tells me I already have that account set up, which I do.
So I clicked the Create Free Apple ID button on the same screen, below.
This goes to a New Apple ID page
I enter location and DOB
This goes to a New Apple ID page
I enter all of the information as required, then click Done
I get an error:
Cannot Create Apple ID
If you have an @me.com email address, sign in using your MobileMe password
This takes me back to where I started without a solution.

Firefox locks up when right-clicking and using drop-down menus

I've experienced this problem with earlier versions of Firefox as well - sometimes when right clicking (like opening up a new link) or using a drop-down menu (like in Gmail) Firefox completely locks up and I need to control all delete shut it down and restart it manually.
Any ideas?

That's a little more than a shadow! Regardless, let's try to reload your display driver. Given what's happening, go into 'Control Panel - Programs and Features' and uninstall any ATI software you see there. Then, go into Device Manager by clicking on 'Start' and then typing in devmgmt.msc and click on that file. Next, click on the arrow beside 'Display adapters', then right click on the 'ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics', and click on 'Uninstall', then click 'OK' to confirm uninstall.
Then download the appropriate driver to your desktop and double click on it to install. If you are still running Vista install the Vista driver, if you are now running Windows 7, install the Win7 driver.

Yes, I tried that.   The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size.   I opened that destination folder from quick time from where it said select image sequence.   I clicked on the first one and opened it.   The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go.   When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie.   The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
    To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation? Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.
