Firefox won't load certain webpages, they stay blank and say it's loading.
Certain websites don't load when I go to them. They just stay white and say that they're loading. They stay like that for hours, as I've left tabs open. This happens on Nexopia.com and Omegle.com. This doesn't happen on IE, but I prefer Firefox.

Hello Colleagues,
I'm having a strange problem dealing with MTU sizes and loading certain webpages. I am aware of the default Microsoft MTU of 1500 and also using GRE IPSEC Tunnels recommended at MTU size 1400. I have since manually set some users PC's to MTU of 1400 and most of those users are experiencing no issues. However, there are a few users who still experience website loading issues even though I have manually changed their MTU size to 1400.
These are domain accounts will the same image loads on their machines, so all have the same permissions, rights, firewall settings, etc. They all use the same LAN, switches, and routers.

I have since applied the following config to the tunnel interfaces:
ip mtu 1400
ip tcp adjust-mss 1400
tunnel path-mtu-discovery
This worked and I was able to reset each users PC to default MTU size of 1500, but only until just now. I got a call from a user who explained that he wasn't able to reach some websites, again.
Sure enough, I've just confirmed that all of the users are unable to access the websites any longer.
This is crazy, does anyone have any ideas? -
Unable to load certain webpages
Hi,
I recently bought a Linksys Wireless-G ADSL Home Gateway (WAG200G) and it works almost perfectly.
The problem is that i'm not able to load certain webpages which before I could.
I think (not enough knowledge to be sure) that it seems to be pages which are build up from a database. For instance: monsterboard (and other vacancy webpages) but also newspages (i.e. NOS.nl, since I live in Holland one of the pages I used to checked frequently).
I have already tried asigning DNS-servers from my ISP (tip from a friend) but that doesn't work.
Does anybody have an idea what the problem might be??

MikeI finaly solved the problem. Not sure if it was the firmware upgrade, or the addition of a default gateway (the router IP address) in the advanced TCP/IP configuration tab of the Ethernet conection (not sure if it was there before I came back to the DSL modem and chaged the configuration)

Firefox won't open when prompted the first time. Says "Not Responding". I have to hit cntrl/alt/del then try starting again. Sometimes multiple times.

Every time I open Mail on my Macbook Pro, which is only a couple of weeks old, it fails to open, the windows stay blank and I get the beach ball. The only way I can get it to close is to force it using the command alt esc buttons. Any ideas?

I downloaded the most recent version of iTunes, and now the iTunes store won't open. It just sits there and says 'accessing iTunes store for hours, but does nothing.
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

As the first step, I recommend backing up your existing sessionstore files.
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Scroll down to the files whose names start with sessionstore. You should find at least sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak. If the .js extension does not appear on sessionstore, you should turn off the Windows feature that hides file extensions from you, so that you can work with file names as accurately as possible. Make backup copies of all the sessionstore files to somewhere like your Documents folder for possible later restoration.

Apple has instituted auto updating , this is a feature for users to check what has updated recently.
The open button opens the app.

I've tried everything that has been proposed before by you guys and I'm hoping you've found a solution by now. I've tried re installing, allowing Firefox through my firewall, and running it as administrator. When I try to click on firefox, the little wait icon appears and then disappears. Nothing opens, not even safe mode. I've looked at the "Firefox won't start and there is no error message" help section and looked at my task manager processes. It seems that when I click firefox, it briefly appears on my processes and then disappears. This happened yesterday while I was in the middle of using it. At the same time, my Skype also crashed, which makes me think the two are correlated. The two programs still don't work. The only way that I can open firefox is if I install it all over again with the "launch firefox now" option checked at the end. I go to www.copyright.gov. On homepage I select 'FAQ'. In 'FAQ' I select, under 'What does copyright protect?' I select the link "What works are protected." When I attempt the same procedure in Safari I get the pdf page.
You have Acrobat Pro on your system. It will try to open PDFs, and of course it will fail. You must uninstall it. Then, you will need a PDF reader. So install Adobe Reader. That seems quite simple, but perhaps something is wrong. If anything goes wrong with these two steps (1) uninstall Acrobat Pro (2) install Adobe Reader, then please let us know the details.

How to get rid of about:blank and allow page to load
On one particular site, I open the page and click on the link and the link won't load and the search bar just says about:blank. I've scanned with ClamXav and it revealed a Trojan. I also deleted all plug ins and still no help. Here is my computer check.
I did the check and then it said to click and go to support so I thought it transferred. I haven't checked the Safari Preferences, I use Firefox and have tried Chrome. The Trojan says OSX Trojan Yontoo.
