Firefox won't open, flashes super quickly on screen, won't load on main profile but will load on my daughter's profile

firefox was working fine. I got an error message about a plugin container. Sent report. Now since then I can't load firefox on my main profile. My 11 year old also has a profile on our notebook and she can access her firefox, but mine won't even load. It flashes on the screen for a split second and disappears.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.17 on Mac (10.4.11), can anyone explain why I cannot access Yahoo, Google, Cnn, Bing, but can access other sites? Found a solution to the problem. The permissions for the firefox.app file were not set to admin - read-write. After adding this permission using the get info menu item when right clicking the file name in the applications folder, the tab now automatically opens when clicking on Email link.

It says it cannot removed the older version of iTunes.
Doublechecking before proceeding ... what's the precise text of that message, please? (There's a couple of different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

That's not good! We definitely want your device to work properly at all times. What email application are you attempting to open? When did the issue start? Do you receive an error message when the application force closes?

Moutain Lion is playing up on my machine. Software update won't open, or App Store, and Mail won't let me select messages. Everything else takes at least 20 seconds to open fully.
Any ideas on what to do here?

A URL will not load in Firefox (it does nothing) but will load in Safari; some other URLs also have a similar problem.

In Safari with the above website, I cannot "View Source". Also, I have the same problem viewing images of patents at the USPTO, again probably a similar problem. Perhaps the web address isn't HTML but is an image format not supported by Firefox. Perhaps there is a plug-in or add-on that will be able to read the image, but should probably be included in the main Firefox release since it seems to be fairly common.

I have the same problem. Closed App Store after double tapping Home button twice. I tried logging out of App Store and back in. Also did App Store updates in computer and updated everything when i synced iPhone with iTunes. Nothing works. App Store updates still frozen in iPhone.

Won't Open flash files in the Browsers

My created swf files are load and display through Java. If I run Java the Swf file will load with in that. After load the swf file I click on the flash environment and enter "CTRL+N" it opening in web Browser.
But I don't want for open the browser only for the with in the Java frame..

When I open Firefox, I'm prompted to create a profile, but every time I click the create profile button, the window opens and immediately shuts.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled mozilla several times. I've read online about looking for a profile.ini file, that file does not exist on my computer. Everytime I open firefox, the choose user profile box appears, and when I click create profile, a window opens and immediately closes.

If even the Mozilla folder isn't there then it is possible that Firefox already crashes before being able to create that folder structure.
Try to do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.

If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

Move the com.apple.screencapture.plist file out of /username/Library/Preferences/ to the Desktop, log out and back in, and try again.
BTW, use the default 10 point setting for text. Your choice just wastes screen space.

IPhoto won't open after crashing in edit screen

I was flipping through photos and editing them with the crop feature selected. I pressed the arrow key to go to the next photo (still in edit screen) when iPhoto crashed. The wheel kept turning and it was frozen. I did Force Quit, and since then the program won't open. I tried reinstalling 8.1.2 again--still no luck.
I don't know what parts of the error message would be helpful, but here's the first bit:

I couldn't solve it. So, I just use the previous version of itunes.
As a matter of fact, everything goes crazy after update and also upgrade of OS. I have more or less the same problem now, since I upgrade my Mac OS X to the latest version "Mavericks". Eveything is slow and undesirable. It seems there is no solution for these problems.
I decide to format all the labtop and again instal the mac OS from the begining. Hope it works and get my labtop back in the previous condition.
